Schedule improvements return, including ABC exclusive games and simulcasts, an ESPN+ exclusive game, multiple Monday Night Football games on the same night, flex scheduling and more!

The 2024 Monday Night Football schedule has the defending two-time Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers, and both conference runner-ups, the Baltimore Ravens and the Detroit Lions, appear on the show at least twice. The Dallas Cowboys get two hosting assignments on Monday Night Football and the Buffalo Bills show up on the MNF twice, including a road game against the New York Jets.

The 49ers bookend the Monday Night Football season (Weeks 1 and 17), first by hosting Garrett Wilson and the New York Jets, and then punctuating the franchise's year with a NFC Championship re-match against Aidan Hutchinson and the Detroit Lions. Overall, the Monday Night Football schedule is embellished by showing off the league's best teams, most popular players, and storylines throughout the entire season. Highlights:
  • Texas-Sized Showdown: The Dallas Cowboys will host their in-state rivals, the Houston Texans (Week 11), followed by a game against the Dallas Cowboys (Week 14).

  • Thanksgiving Week Harbaugh Bowl: The holiday week begins (Monday, Week 12), with both Jim and John Harbaugh battling it out, their first head-to-head coaching battle since Super Bowl XLVII.
  • The NFL's next Superstars: The 2024 NFL Draft's first two overall selections, Bears' Caleb Williams and Commanders' Jayden Daniels (Week 3) are expected to make their Monday Night Football debuts this season, with Williams potentially going head-to-head with Vikings' J.J. McCarthy (Week 15). New Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. makes his Monday Night Football debut against Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers (Week 7).
  • Week 18 Doubleheader Saturday: Two games with postseason stakes will take place on Saturday, January 4 at 4:30 PM ET and 8:15 PM ET on ESPN & ABC. Both matchups will be announced following the conclusion of Week 17.

Monday Night Football's Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Lisa Salters come back to work third season as a commentary team
Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Lisa Salters are back for the third straight year calling Monday Night Football games. For Buck & Aikman, the duo is now entering their 23rd season as broadcast partners (2002-present), extending their record as the longest tenured broadcast pairing in NFL history. Salters begins her 13th season on the MNF sidelines, the longest-tenured sideline reporter in Monday Night Football history.

Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli return for the fourth straight year
Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli is back for the fourth straight season with 11 games overall, including the Week 1 Jets vs. 49ers game. The remaining schedule will be announced at a later date.

2024 NFL on FOX Schedule

  • NFL on FOX adds a new holiday game to matchless regular season slate on Saturday, December 21 when the Baltimore Ravens host the Pittsburgh Steelers at 4:30 PM ET.
  • Week 1 starts off with a exclusive doubleheader day, featuring the highly anticipated broadcast debut of Tom Brady in a America's Game of the Week showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns.
  • NFL on FOX lands first Super Bowl re-match in network history in Week 7, when the Kansas City Chiefs visit the San Francisco 49ers during America's Game of the Week.
  • FOX Sports strides into the network's 11th Super Bowl presentation with Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

Following a renowned 30th anniversary season of offering award-winning NFL coverage and entering a supercharged year that will come to a crescendo on FOX with Super Bowl LIX live from the Casears Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9, 2025, FOX Sports announced their 2024 NFL schedule earlier this week.

FOX Sports' much looked forward to 31st season on the air begins on Sunday, September 8, with a exclusive doubleheader and the new NFL on FOX lead broadcast team featuring returning NFL on FOX play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt alongside seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady in his game analyst debut. Burkhardt and Brady are joined by veteran reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi on the call for the Dallas Cowboys at the Cleveland Browns in America's Game of the Week (4:25 PM ET).

For the first time in the three-decade long history of FOX Sports, the network will have a opportunity to highlight a Super Bowl re-match between the two teams that played in the big game the previous year. America's Game of the Week will have the Super Bowl 58 re-match as the San Francisco 49ers host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7.

FOX's robust 18-week slate for the 2024 regular season features appearances from a powerhouse lineup of NFC teams, including the Cowboys (9), 49ers (8), Lions (8), Eagles (8), Packers (8) and Giants (8).

Following the regular season, FOX will have four postseason games -- one Wild Card game, one Divisional Playoff game, the NFC Championship Game & and of course, Super Bowl LIX.

Super Bowl LIX marks FOX's 11th broadcast of the Super Bowl - more than any other network in the last 30 years - and comes in two years after FOX's widely praised coverage of Super Bowl LVII in Arizona, where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles (38-35) in the final moments of the game.

  • Thanksgiving Day football and the NFL's annual "John Madden Celebration" return on Thursday, November 28, at 4:30 PM ET on FOX when the New York Giants visit the Dallas Cowboys.
  • FOX's longstanding tradition of anchoring FOX NFL Sunday from a military installation will continue this season on Sunday, November 10. This year's show will be anchored from Naval Base in San Diego, California, the world's second largest surface ship naval base, and will feature the FOX NFL Sunday cast participating in special training with U.S. Navy SEALs.

Studio Coverage:
NFL on FOX coverage begins each Sunday morning at 11:00 AM ET with FOX NFL Kickoff with Charissa Thompson, Julian Edelman, Michael Vick, Charles Woodson & Peter Schrager. This is followed by FOX NFL Sunday at 12:00 PM ET, America's most watched pregame show since the show's inception back in 1994.

FOX NFL Sunday, led by co-hosts Curt Menefee and Hall of Famer quarterback and four-time Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw, is the only pregame show desk that is entirely made up of Pro Football Hall of Fame analysts (Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Howie Long & Jimmy Johnson).

Stroud (Sunday, September 15), Patrick Mahomes vs. Kirk Cousins (Sunday, September 22), Josh Allen vs. Lamar Jackson (Sunday, September 29), Dak Prescott vs. Brock Purdy (Sunday, October 27), Trevor Lawrence vs. Jalen Hurts (Sunday, November 3), Tua Tagovailoa vs. Jordan Love (Thursday, November 28, Thanksgiving) & Justin Herbert vs. Patrick Mahomes (Sunday, December 8)
  • Crucial Late Season Doubleheader: 2023 division champions meet up in Week 16 on NBC and Peacock: Texans at Chiefs on Saturday, December 21 at 1:00 PM ET; and Buccaneers at Cowboys the following night, Sunday, December 22, at 8:20 PM ET on NBC and Peacock
  • Peacock to stream all Sunday Night Football on NBC broadcasts in 2024, plus the Football Night in America pregame show & the exclusive to the service postgame show, Peacock Sunday Night Football Final.

Sunday Night Football on NBC, the top show in America in primetime for an unparalleled 13 consecutive years now, is the broadcast home for the finest and brightest in 2024, starting off the season with Patrick Mahomes and the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs once again raising a championship banner at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium before hosting 2023 league MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in NFL Kickoff 2024. This game, of course, is a re-match of last season's AFC Championship Game and marks the first time that a set of quarterbacks with multiple MVP awards meet in Week 1. The season opener is the first of FOUR (yes, FOUR) appearances by Mahomes and the Chiefs on NBC and Peacock this season.

The following evening (Friday, September 6), Peacock is the exclusive national broadcast home as Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers face off with Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paolo, Brazil, marking the first time that the NFL has ever played a game in Brazil and the league's first opening weekend game on a Friday night since 1970 (Cardinals/Rams). Then, on Sunday, September 8, on NBC and Peacock, in yet another postseason rematch from the 2023 season, Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams travel to play Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions in the season premiere of Sunday Night Football.

Aaron Rodgers is set to make his first appearances as a New York Jet on Sunday Night Football, when they visit the Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday, October 20) and host the Indianapolis Colts (Sunday, November 17).

Peacock will once again stream all Sunday Night Football on NBC games, including the postseason, and the Football Night in America studio show featuring the returning cast of Maria Taylor (welcome back! 👏), Devin McCourty, Chris Simms, Jason Garrett, Matthew Berry & Mike Florio.

For the third straight season, the trio of play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico, analyst Cris Collinsworth & reporter Melissa Stark will return to provide commentary for each week's Sunday night game on NBC & Peacock. If needed, NBC & Peacock will use a secondary announcing team for select games during the season (Week 1 Brazil game & Week 16).

- Highlights of the 2024 Sunday Night Football on NBC schedule include:
  • Four appearances by the two-time defending Super Bowl Kansas City Chiefs (vs. Ravens in Week 1, at Falcons in Week 3, vs. Chargers in Week 14 & vs. Texans in Week 16); three appearances by the Dallas Cowboys (including two games vs. historic postseason rivals Pittsburgh Steelers & San Francisco 49ers), Green Bay Packers (including São Paolo & Thanksgiving night), & the defending AFC South champion Houston Texans.
  • 13 games featuring two 2023 playoff teams and NBC Sports' record SEVEN meetings between division winners from last season.
  • The Dallas Cowboys make three appearances on Sunday Night Football in 2024, as per usual. In fact, two of three matchups stand out in particular. On Sunday, October 6, they will travel to Pittsburgh to meet up with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first matchup on NBC between these two longtime rivals since Super Bowl XXX in 1996. These teams faced off in three Super Bowls during the 1970's (with Pittsburgh winning twice and Dallas winning once). The Cowboys and Steelers have each played in the Super Bowl eight times (tied for second all-time, only behind the New England Patriots, who have been in the Super Bowl a record 11 times). Combined, the Cowboys (five) & Steelers (six) have 11 Lombardi Trophies between them. Three weeks later, on Sunday, October 27, the Cowboys will fly out west to battle the San Francisco 49ers, another team that Dallas has a lengthy postseason résumé against. The teams have played in nine playoff games over the years, including six NFC Championship games. Finally, on December 22, the Cowboys will welcome in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys have defeated the Buccaneers in all three postseason meetings between the clubs, including Tom Brady's final game in January 2023.

On NBC and Peacock, NBC Sports will present 22 regular season games this season, 18 regular season Sunday Night Football games, NFL Kickoff Game, the Peacock exclusive Week 1 Brazil game between the Packers & Eagles, the annual Thanksgiving night game between the Dolphins & Packers, & a special Saturday afternoon Week 16 broadcast between the Texans & Chiefs. NBC Sports will televise two playoff games this season, one Wild Card game & Divisional Playoff game. NBC and Peacock will also provide live coverage of a preseason game (Patriots/Commanders) this August. In total, NBC Sports will present 25 NFL games during the 2024 season.

On the weekend of January 11-12, NBC & Peacock will televise a Wild Card playoff game, followed by a Divisional Playoff game on the weekend of January 18-19.

2024 NFL on CBS Schedule

  • CBS remains the main home of the American Football Conference (AFC) and the star quarterbacks in that conference, featuring must-see games in television's most-watched window (4:25 PM ET)
  • More contests with the two-time defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs than any other network/station - including vs. Bengals (Week 2) and at the Bills (Week 11) and robust NFC games highlighted by the Eagles at Cowboys game (Week 1)

CBS Sports, the chief television network of record regarding the American Football Conference (AFC), recently announced their 101-game regular season schedule for their 65th season of NFL coverage, which will be followed by four postseason games -- two Wild Card games, one AFC Divisional Playoff game & the AFC Championship Game.

The 2024 NFL on CBS regular season schedule is accentuated by signature contests in the 4:25 PM ET national doubleheader game window, the most-watched window in all of television with nearly 25 million viewers. CBS Sports will have 10 national Sunday doubleheader windows this season, starting in Week 2 with the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs hosting the Bengals in a showdown between the two franchises that have represented the AFC in the Super Bowl in each of the five years (Kansas City in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 & Cincinnati in 2021).

The 4:25 PM ET game window is spotlighted by more top-notch games featuring AFC teams - including Chiefs vs. Bills (Week 11), Eagles vs. Ravens (Week 13), & Bills vs. Lions (Week 15) - and also some key NFC teams playing in this very important national window - including Eagles vs. Cowboys (Week 10) & Packers vs. Rams (Week 5). The NFL on CBS will finish out the 2024 regular season campaign very well with a national doubleheader in three of the season's last four regular season weeks.

The Chiefs, who have won the last two Super Bowls (including Super Bowl LVIII on CBS this past February), are scheduled to appear on CBS at least eight teams this season, at least twice more than any other network. The Chiefs have at least four 4:25 PM ET NFL on CBS doubleheader slots in the bag, showing off key conference and divisional matchups. Furthermore, the Bills, Steelers & Ravens will have eight CBS games of their own this season.

As the primary home for AFC games, the 2024 NFL on CBS schedule possess a ridiculous amount of top-tier and star quarterbacks including Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, Bengals QB Joe Burrow, Texans QB C.J. Stroud, Chargers QB Justin Herbert, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, Bills QB Josh Allen & Jets QB Aaron Rodgers.

As per usual, CBS will once again televise a national game on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28. At 12:30 PM (ET) that day, a NFC North rivalry takes place as Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions host 2024 NFL Draft #1 pick Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears.

The schedule is once again anchored at the 1:00 PM ET window by an amazing slate of divisional rivalries, 2023 playoff teams and interconference games.

The group of AFC teams that CBS plans on featuring heavily in particular include the Bills, Steelers, Ravens, Bengals, Jets, Dolphins with a regular presence of NFC teams including the Packers, Eagles, 49ers, Giants, Bears, Lions, Rams & Vikings.

- Division Showdown in Milwaukee: Jackson Chourio and the Milwaukee Brewers welcome Brendan Donovan and the St. Louis Cardinals to American Family Field in Milwaukee for the third game of a four-game series.

- Righting the Ship in San Fran: Elly De La Cruz and the Cincinnati Reds look to get some traction during a key weekend series at AT&T Park against Matt Chapman and the San Francisco Giants, as both teams try to get on a hot streak (both teams are currently under .500).

FOX Sports' coverage of the 2024 MLB season continues with regional action on Saturday, May 11, as Baseball Night in America returns for the second straight week.

Game coverage begins at 7:00 PM ET with a mini pregame program, followed by the first pitch at around 7:15 PM ET. FOX is regionalizing two matchups for broadcast in front of a national audience this weekend.

Baseball Night in America on FOX this week immediately follows the Braves at Mets game on FS1 (4:00 PM ET start, with Kevin Kugler & Tom Verducci on the call).

Most of the country will see a National League Central rivalry from American Family Field in Milwaukee as Paul Goldschmidt and the St. Louis Cardinals visit Rhys Hoskins and the Milwaukee Brewers. Saturday's FOX game is the third game of the four-game weekend series between the longtime divisional foes. Currently (as of Friday, May 10), Milwaukee is in first place in the National League Central with a 22-15 record while St. Louis ranks last in the five-team division with a 15-22 record. Brewers catcher William Contreras is currently #6 in MLB in terms of batting average (.340) (as of Friday, May 10). 🎤 Seasoned play-by-play commentator Adam Amin, Hall of Famer John Smoltz & reporter Ken Rosenthal will provide commentary.

Other viewers (that are not scheduled to receive the Cardinals-Brewers game) will watch a National League matchup as Elly De La Cruz and the Cincinnati Reds travel to the San Francisco Bay Area to meet up with Nick Ahmed and the San Francisco Giants. The Reds are tailspinning as of late, losers of their last eight games as of Friday, May 10. Meanwhile, San Francisco trails the first place Dodgers by nine games in the National League West, so this series is a huge one for them in terms of climbing back into the division hunt. 🎙 Jason Benetti handles play-by-play duties, with analysis furnished by 14-year MLB veteran and 1992 Rookie of the Year Eric Karros.
