Montreal-Tampa Bay serves as NBC Sports Group's last Stanley Cup Final following 16 seasons
The 2021 Stanley Cup Final is now set! The Montreal Canadiens, making their first Stanley Cup Final appearance since 1993, will play the Tampa Bay Lightning, the defending Stanley Cup champions.
The 2021 Stanley Cup Final will serve as NBC/NBCSN's last set of NHL telecasts following 16 seasons of NHL coverage. The national TV contract will turn over to ESPN/ABC and Turner Sports, starting next season.
Game 1 of Canadiens vs. Lightning is on Monday, June 28th at 8:00 PM (ET), on NBCSN. Games 1 & 2 will be on NBCSN, with the remaining games of the series over on NBC.
Kenny Albert (play-by-play) will hold play-by-play duties for Canadiens-Lightning alongside analysts Eddie Olczyk (booth analyst) & Brian Boucher ("Inside the Glass"). Pierre McGuire ("Inside the Glass") will also hold some analyst duties as well.
