  • This year's Eastern Conference Final pits Sebastian Aho and the Carolina Hurricanes against Aleksander Barkov and the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers.
  • The 2025 Western Conference Final features Leon Draisaital and the Edmonton Oilers going up against Mikko Rantanen and the Dallas Stars.
  • TNT to exclusively present Eastern Conference Final (Panthers vs. Hurricanes).
  • ESPN or ABC will broadcast every single of the Western Conference Final (Oilers vs. Stars).

Live coverage from the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs presented by GEICO continues this week with the start of the Conference Final round. We will talk about both NHL Conference Finals on here, so stay tuned for further details.

The 2025 Eastern Conference Final gets rolling on Tuesday, May 20 at 8:00 PM (ET) on TNT (with a simulcast on truTV & Max) with Game 1 of the best-of-seven series. In this matchup, Seth Jarvis and the Carolina Hurricanes host Brad Marchand and the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers.

These teams have only one previous playoff meeting, which came in 2023. In the Eastern Conference Final that season, Florida swept Carolina in a four-game series sweep to advance to their first Stanley Cup Final appearance since 1996. The Hurricanes possess home-ice advantage in this series, so we will see if that helps Carolina get back to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since the 2005-06 season. Sam Reinhart and the Panthers are in hot pursuit of a third consecutive appearance in the Stanley Cup Final.

One night later, on Wednesday, May 21, we drop the puck in the 2025 Western Conference Final from American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas as Wyatt Johnston and the Dallas Stars enter Game 1 of the series against Connor McDavid and the defending Western Conference champion Edmonton Oilers at 8:00 PM (ET) on ESPN (with a simulcast available on ESPN+).

For the second straight year, these two teams clash in a Conference Final round serving as the final hurdle before reaching the Stanley Cup Final. This is the beginning of a potential playoff mainstay in the Western Conference.

Fresh off their six-game Conference Semifinal victory over the Winnipeg Jets, the Stars go into this Western Conference Final with home-ice advantage. Stars D Thomas Harley has 11 points so far in these 2025 playoffs, including the game-winning series goal in Game 6 vs. the Jets in the Western Conference Semifinals on Saturday. As for the Oilers, they continue their path towards a second straight Stanley Cup Final run. The Oilers defeated the Vegas Golden Knights in five games to secure the series win during the Western Conference Semifinals.

“As good as Dallas is, we’re a really good team too,” Oilers captain Connor McDavid said. “We’ve beaten two good teams in L.A. and Vegas. Our 5-on-5 game has been really good. Our special teams will need to get going, it starts with the power play. The power play has to find a way to be a factor in the series and we will.”

ESPN's lead NHL commentary team of Sean McDonough (play-by-play), Ray Ferraro (analyst) & Emily Kaplan (reporter) will have the call of Wednesday's Game 1 of the Oilers-Stars. McDonough, Ferraro & Kaplan will then handle broadcasting duties for the remainder of the series (regardless of the length).

Studio coverage for the Western Conference Final on ESPN & ABC will be led by veteran ESPN host & play-by-play commentator Steve Levy. Steve is joined in the studio by Hall of Famer Mark Messier and former NHL defenseman P.K. Subban for pregame & intermission coverage.

  • Eastern Conference Finals presented by AT&T starts on Wednesday, May 21 with Game 1 at 8:00 PM (ET) on TNT -- Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers (#4) vs. Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks (#3).
  • Western Conference Finals to be exclusively televised by ESPN platforms -- ESPN (ALL games except for Game 3) or ABC (Game 3 only).
  • Eastern Conference Finals to be exclusively televised by TNT. Sadly, TNT is set to air their final NBA games ever before concluding their NBA coverage.
  • Top commentary teams set to call the action for the Conference Finals -- Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller, Stan Van Gundy & Allie LaForce (TNT, Eastern Conference Finals, Pacers vs. Knicks); Mike Breen, Doris Burke, Richard Jefferson & Lisa Salters (ESPN/ABC, Western Conference Finals, Timberwolves vs. Thunder).

And just like that, we are halfway through the 2025 NBA Playoffs presented by Google. Luckily, we have some playoff basketball to look forward to in the near future. Time to talk about the upcoming Conference Finals round, which will tip-off on Tuesday, May 20 on ESPN.

The 2025 Western Conference Finals presented by AT&T - Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves (#6 seed) vs. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder (#1 seed) - are slated to open up on Tuesday, May 20 at 8:30 PM (ET) on ESPN. Broadcasting for this series will be handled by ESPN's lead NBA team: Naismith Basketball Hall of Famers Mike Breen and Doris Burke, fellow game analyst & 2016 NBA champion Richard Jefferson & sideline reporter Lisa Salters.

ESPN will broadcast all but one game during this Western Conference Finals series, as ABC will exclusively present Game 3 coverage on Saturday, May 24 at 8:30 PM (ET). Tip-off will occur at 8:30 PM (ET) for Western Conference Finals Games 1 through 6 with a special 8:00 PM (ET) start time for a potential Game 7, if necessary.

NBA Countdown, ESPN and ABC's official pregame program, is scheduled to go live for on-the-road location broadcasts during the course of the Western Conference Finals from Minneapolis & Oklahoma City. Malika Andrews will host NBA Countdown during the Western Conference Finals alongside a talented group of analysts and insiders, including two-time Executive of the Year Bob Myers, analyst Stephen A. Smith, 2008 NBA Champion Kendrick Perkins, and ESPN Senior NBA Insider Shams Charania. As a special treat, 2023 NBA champion head coach Michael Malone joins the "NBA Countdown" cast throughout the entire series. The crew will furnish viewers with pregame and halftime reports.

The following night (Wednesday, May 21), TNT will launch their coverage of the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals presented by AT&T. In primetime, live at 8:00 PM (ET), Tyrese Haliburton and the ascending Indiana Pacers (#4 seed) face Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks (#3 seed). Kevin Harlan calls play-by-play for the series, alongside Hall of Famer Reggie Miller (analyst) and former NBA coach Stan Van Gundy (analyst). Allie LaForce (reporter) handles sideline reporting duties.

TNT will carry ALL games of the series, with 8:00 PM (ET) start times for every Eastern Conference Finals game.

TNT will send their "Inside the NBA" crew on the road for live pregame, halftime, and postgame programming during the Eastern Conference Finals from New York City & Indianapolis. Ernie Johnson serves as the host alongside Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley & two-time NBA champion Kenny "The Jet" Smith. As a side note, four-time NBA champion Draymond Green joins the cast for Games 1 & 2 in New York.

As you know, Turner Sports is set to bid the NBA farewell following the conclusion of this series. Turner will be losing their NBA live game rights starting next season as part of the NBA media rights deal that will see NBC Sports and Amazon Prime Video enter the picture. Thank 🙏 you, Turner Sports, for entertaining us with top notch basketball coverage for four decades. It is extremely sad 😢 to see you go.

The Conference Finals then continue with at least one game per night through Tuesday, May 27. If the series go beyond four games, additional Conference Finals games will be played between Wednesday, May 28 and Monday, June 2.

2025 NFL on Netflix Schedule

Sunday, May 11, 2025 (Happy Mothers' Day !!!)

  • Netflix is returning for their second consecutive "Christmas Gameday"!

Following last year's inaugural "Christmas Gameday" coverage on Netflix, the streaming platform is going to run it back for the 2025 season. On Thursday, December 25, unwrap some live football 🏈 action on Netflix. Netflix will have two games to stream on the streaming service that day.

We have a NFC East matchup to start the day at 1:00 PM (ET) as Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys play Terry McLaurin and the Washington Commanders. Following Cowboys vs. Commanders, the divisional theme continues at 4:30 PM (ET) when Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions travel to Minnesota for a NFC North duel with Isaiah Rodgers and the Minnesota Vikings.

Just like last season, CBS Sports will produce both games and NFL Media will handle the pregame, halftime, and postgame programming.

Last year, Netflix streamed their first NFL games on Christmas Day with Chiefs defeating the Steelers 29-10 and the Ravens annihilating the Texans 31-2. As you might expect, these matchups were the two most streamed NFL games globally, with an average of 26.5 million viewers in the United States, and over 30 million viewers globally.

The schedule for the two Christmas Gameday broadcasts that will be available for you to stream on Christmas Day 🎄 is furnished to you below.

2025 Monday Night Football on ESPN and ABC Schedule

Caption: The current "Monday Night Football" logo (2023-present). | Photo creditBarrettSportsMedia.com

Sunday, May 11, 2025 (Happy Mothers' Day !!!)

  • Premium Matchups: Vikings at Bears, Lions at Ravens, Chiefs at Jaguars, Commanders at Chiefs, Eagles at Packers, Cardinals at Cowboys, Cowboys at Raiders & Eagles at Chargers.
  • Four weeks of multiple Monday Night Football games, including the return of the traditional 7:00 PM (ET) and 10:00 PM (ET) doubleheader start times.
  • ESPN and ABC exclusive game matchups, ABC simulcasts of ESPN's coverage, and an ESPN+ exclusive game basically summarizes the numerous ways one can watch MNF during the 2025 season.
  • Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Lisa Salters lead ESPN's MNF broadcasts for fourth straight year.
  • The ManningCast begins fifth season.

In 2025, ESPN's "Monday Night Football" schedule starts strong by airing 11 NFL games in the first three weeks. This includes an early season matchup between the Lions and Ravens in Week 3. ESPN will have more primetime games than any other NFL broadcaster to kick off the season. This marks a great start for ESPN's 25-game NFL schedule for the 2025 season.

As the season progresses, "Monday Night Football" is scheduled to have a four-week timeframe that features the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8 (vs. Commanders), the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9 (vs. Cardinals) & in Week 11 (at the Raiders) & the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles visiting the Green Bay Packers in Week 10. The Eagles will be back on MNF in Week 14, against the Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The long-standing television staple will later transition to the Saturday Week #18 doubleheader, the Monday Night Wild Card game on Monday, January 12, & finally the Divisional Playoff Game on Saturday, January 17 or Sunday, January 18.

The season-long "Monday Night Football" franchise will start in Week 1, when the Vikings collide with the Bears in an NFC North game. This is the first of many divisional games on MNF this year. Later on in the season, several legendary franchises get a spotlight on MNF including the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Miami Dolphins. In summary, MNF contains some of the league's best teams, respected athletes, and compelling storylines during the 2025 season.

MNF will have ESPN exclusive games, ABC simulcasts, and four weeks in which multiple games are played on the same evening, with ABC (two times) and ESPN+ (one time) broadcasting a exclusive game in conjunction with an ESPN exclusive game broadcast in three cases. During these four doubleheader weeks, two of them will have a traditional doubleheader with game action starting at 7:00 PM (ET) and 10:00 PM (ET).

The AFC champion Chiefs get two games on the MNF 2025 schedule. One of the games has Kansas City hosting Terry McLaurin and the upstart Washington Commanders in Week #8. The other matchup sees Travis Kelce and the Chiefs going to Jacksonville to play 2025 No. 2 pick Travis Hunter and the Jaguars, in Week #5 (Hunter's first game ever on MNF).

The Lions at Ravens matchup (as previously mentioned) in Week 3 is one of the key NFC-AFC matchups, featuring a potential Super Bowl team from each conference. Eagles vs. Packers (Week 10) is a re-match of the NFC Wild Card Game from 2024.

The Cowboys will host the Cardinals in Week #9 followed by a "legacy" game at the Raiders in Week #11, as two of the most iconic brands in the long and storied history of the NFL meet at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Monday Night Football's Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Lisa Salters return for their fourth season together:
Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Lisa Salters reprise their on-air roles for the fourth straight season. For Buck & Aikman, this is the 24th straight year that they have called NFL games together as a duo, extending their record as the longest tenured broadcast pairing in NFL history. As for Salters, she embarks on her 14th year as the MNF sideline reporter, continuing as the longest tenured sideline reporter in MNF history.

"Peyton and Eli" Return for Fifth Season:
Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli is back on the menu for the fifth straight year, with a 12-game schedule starting in Week 1. The remaining 11 games will be announced towards the start of the regular season.

"Monday Night Football" 2025 Highlights:
  • Several noteworthy people make highly anticipated Week 1 debuts: When the Vikings and Bears play at Soldier Field on Monday, September 8, J.J. McCarthy will be suiting up for the first time in a regular season game & Ben Johnson coaches his first game as the Bears head coach.
  • Picturesque Quarterbacks on Monday Night Football: Each of the last three MVP's take center stage on Monday Night Football in 2025 (Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson & Josh Allen). The last two Offensive Rookie of the Year winners, C.J. Stroud and Jayden Daniels, Super Bowl champion Jalen Hurts, and Comeback Player of the Year Joe Burrow will also appear on "Monday Night Football".
  • Several Foremost Rookies Take the Field: Seven of the top ten picks of the 2025 NFL Draft are slated to make their MNF debuts this year spotlighted by Travis Hunter (Jaguars), Abdul Carter (Giants) & Ashton Jeanty (Raiders).
  • Well Known Franchises Wrap Up Schedule: In the season's closing weeks, the San Francisco 49ers get two games on MNF (Week 12 vs. the Panthers & Week 16 at the Colts), while the Giants and Patriots (Week 13) as well as the Dolphins and Steelers (Week 15) compete against each other.
  • Simultaneous Action: During Week #4 and Week #6, there will be two games on "Monday Night Football" going on at the same time (Jets-Dolphins, 7:15 p.m. ET, on ESPN & Bengals-Broncos, 8:15 p.m. ET, on ABC in Week #4; Bills-Falcons, 7:15 p.m. ET, on ESPN & Bears-Commanders, 8:15 p.m. ET, on ABC in Week #6)
  • Champions Flock West: The Eagles travel to Los Angeles for a Week 14 primetime meeting with the Chargers.
  • Falcons Host MNF: Bijan Robinson and his Falcons have two "Monday Night Football" home games this season - vs. the Bills (Week 6) & vs. the Rams (Week 17). The Falcons will host Monday night games for the first time since the 2015 season.

I am pleased to present the complete 2025 "Monday Night Football" schedule for ESPN and ABC. Please note that this schedule may change without notice due to flex scheduling.

Sunday, May 11, 2025 (Happy Mother's Day !!)

  • Two Games during Opening Week: Cowboys at Eagles in annual NFL Kickoff Game on Thursday, September 4 followed by a matchup of the last two MVP winners - Lamar Jackson (2023 NFL MVP) and the Baltimore Ravens vs. Josh Allen (2024 NFL MVP) and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, September 7.
  • Primetime TV's #1 Show for 14 straight seasons.
  • Vigorous Amount of Quarterback Duels on SNF in 2025: Dak Prescott vs. Jalen Hurts (Week 1, Sept. 4), Jackson vs. Allen (Week 1, Sept. 7), Jordan Love vs. Prescott (Week 4, Sept. 28), Jared Goff vs. Patrick Mahomes (Week 6, Oct. 12), Goff vs. Hurts (Week 11, Nov. 16), Baker Mayfield vs. Matthew Stafford (Week 12, Nov. 23), Joe Burrow vs. Jackson (Week 13, Nov. 27, Thanksgiving), C.J. Stroud vs. Mahomes (Week 14, Dec. 7), Burrow vs. Tagovailoa (Week 16, Dec. 21). SNF has it covered in terms of the must-see quarterback matchups.
  • Peacock to once again supplement NBC's SNF coverage in 2025: Peacock will stream every Sunday Night Football on NBC broadcast during the 2025 season, the Football Night in America pregame studio show, Sunday Night Football Final (postgame show), and of course, Super Bowl LX in February.

Sunday Night Football (SNF) on NBC, America's No. 1 primetime television show for an unprecedented 14 consecutive years, is excited to mark the 20th season of the program. This year's slate has an emphasis on showcasing the best players & teams in football from September (NFL Kickoff Game) thru Super Bowl LX from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on February 8, 2026, live on NBC & Peacock.

The 20th anniversary season of SNF on NBC begins with two must-see games during the first weekend of the NFL's regular season. Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys continue their traditional NFC East rivalry with 2024 AP Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley and the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles during NFL Kickoff '25 on Thursday, September 4, on NBC and Peacock. This game will be the 17th time that Dallas & Philadelphia will be matching up on NBC's Sunday Night Football package and the first time that the Cowboys & Eagles clash on the first NFL regular season weekend since 2000.

Later that weekend on Sunday, September 7, NBC Sports will air their first traditional Sunday night game of the new campaign. And boy, do they have a fantastic game in which to show. Lamar Jackson (2023 NFL MVP) and the reigning AFC North champion Baltimore Ravens travel to Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York to face off against Josh Allen (2024 NFL MVP) and the defending AFC East champion Buffalo Bills. This game is a re-match of last season's AFC Divisional Playoff Game, which was a Bills win over the Ravens at Highmark Stadium. This is the first game of the Bills' final season at the current Highmark Stadium, as the new Highmark Stadium is slated to open for the 2026 season.

The 2025 Sunday Night Football on NBC schedule has eight games featuring clubs that qualified for the 2024 postseason - spearheaded by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, who have participated in all but one Super Bowl since the 2019 season. They will host Amon-Ra St. Brown and the reigning NFC North champion Detroit Lions on Sunday, October 12. With Kansas City & Detroit holding the best records in the AFC & NFC, respectively, a season ago, this matchup is just the second time in NBC's Sunday Night Football package history that NBC will have a game featuring the teams that finished FIRST in their respective conferences the previous season (with the Opening Night Panthers-Broncos game in 2016 being the only other time). Two years later, during NFL Kickoff "23, the Lions squeezed out a spellbinding 21-20 win over the Chiefs on NBC and Peacock.

Peacock will have a stream available for every single Sunday Night Football on NBC broadcast, including postseason games, in addition to the "Football Night in America" studio show that precedes live game coverage on Sunday nights. The exclusive "Sunday Night Football Final" show returns to Peacock in 2025, to give additional coverage of that week's NBC SNF game. Furthermore, Peacock will get exclusive rights to show a Week 17 Saturday NFL game live in primetime on Saturday, December 27 at 8:00 PM (ET). That matchup will be determined later on in the season.

The "SNF" announce team of play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico, analyst Cris Collinsworth, reporter Melissa Stark, and rules analyst Terry McAulay return to provide commentary for the fourth consecutive year.

Highlights of the 2025 "Sunday Night Football" on NBC Schedule:
  • NBC Sports' NFL schedule has the defending AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys (including a game vs. their longtime rival Green Bay Packers) appearing three times each on the network, plus two games each for the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings and the Washington Commanders.
  • Once the opening weekend is finished, the superb SNF lineup of highly anticipated quarterback battles continues with Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers facing off against Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, September 28. This game has plenty of historic value, as these two clubs have played in postseason competition on nine different occasions over the years, the second-most in NFL history.
  • On Sunday, November 16, Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions hit the road to play Jalen Hurts and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in a game that has the top two seeds from the NFC last season. The next week, Sunday, November 23, Baker Mayfield and the defending NFC South champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers clash with Matthew Stafford and the defending NFC West champion Los Angeles Rams, bringing together two 2024 division-winning quarterbacks & former #1 overall picks.
  • On Thanksgiving Night, Thursday, November 27, 2024 NFL passing leader Joe Burrow alongside 2024 receiving "Triple Crown" winner Ja'Marr Chase lead the Cincinnati Bengals into an AFC North division showdown against Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and the Baltimore Ravens. An AFC Divisional Playoff Game re-match is coming your way on December 7, when C.J. Stroud leads the Houston Texans against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. On Sunday, December 21, Joe Burrow and the Bengals head to South Florida for a late-season game vs. Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins (Tua led the league in completion percentage last season & and in passing yardage in 2023).
  • Double Feature of Class of 2024 Quarterback Confrontations: In Week 2 (Sunday, September 14), Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy - who had to miss the 2024 season due to injury - is expected to make his Minnesota Vikings home debut against fellow 2024 first round pick Michael Penix Jr. and the Atlanta Falcons. 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders, who made a Cinderella run to the NFC Championship Game last year, welcome fellow 2024 first round pick Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos to Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland on Sunday, November 30. In 2024, Nix helped the Broncos to a 10-7 record and a postseason appearance.

In total, NBC Sports will broadcast 25 NFL games during the forthcoming 2025 NFL season. 20 of these games will be regular season matchups, distributed by NBC (linear television) and Peacock (streaming), including 18 Sunday Night Football games, the annual NFL Kickoff Game & the annual Thanksgiving Night Game. To add on, Peacock gets a Saturday night exclusive game broadcast in Week 17 on Saturday, December 27. NBC Sports owns the broadcasting rights to three playoff games on NBC & Peacock - one Wild Card game, one Divisional Playoff game & Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026 from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

To launch the preseason later this year, NBC & Peacock will televise the Hall of Fame Game between the Chargers and the Lions on Thursday, July 31
