For Week #5 of the 2025 NFL regular season, the NFL on Fox will have a doubleheader lined up. And this week's NFL on Fox: Field Pass will prepare you guys for Sunday's schedule of contests on Fox. Fox will have five games this week, split between two windows. In the first half of the doubleheader (1:00 PM ET), most of the country will see KaVontae Turpin and the Dallas Cowboys battle Justin Fields and the New York Jets, while other audiences will get either the Raiders-Colts match-up or the Dolphins-Panthers game. Later on (4:25 PM ET), America's Game of the Week features a pair of playoff teams from 2024 as Frankie Luvu and the Washington Commanders line up against Ladd McConkey and the Los Angeles Chargers, or select audiences will receive the Lions vs. Bengals duel from Cincinnati. Which games will Fox show in your local market this Sunday, and who will be announcing the action? Find out the answers on this week's NFL on Fox: Field Pass.

Sunday's Week #5 NFL coverage on Fox begins with "Fox NFL Kickoff presented by Little Caesars" at 11:00 AM ET. Charissa Thompson hosts "Fox NFL Kickoff" alongside a pair of analysts who made a legendary impact on the field — Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson and three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman. "Fox NFL Kickoff" offers a preview of the day's NFL action, including interviews with NFL newsmakers, reports from NFL game venues, breaking news, and updates.

The two-hour live programming block for Week #5 on Fox continues with "Fox NFL Sunday presented by GMC" at 12:00 PM ET. Veteran broadcaster Curt Menefee hosts the iconic pregame show alongside four-time Super Bowl champion and Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw. Joining them on the desk are Pro Football Hall of Famers Howie Long and Michael Strahan, with four-time Super Bowl champion and four-time All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski making regular appearances throughout the season. Bradshaw and Long are original cast members from the show's 1994 debut. Lead NFL on Fox insider Jay Glazer delivers exclusive insight and breaking news from around the league. "Fox NFL Sunday" gives viewers a jam-packed hour of content, including marquee interviews, analysis, predictions, and breaking news.

Trevon Diggs and the Dallas Cowboys (1-2-1) make an additional trip to MetLife Stadium to face their rivals' co-tenants, Quinnen Williams and the New York Jets (0-4), on Sunday, October 5 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, with Jason Benetti (play-by-play), three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen (analyst), & veteran sportscaster Pam Oliver (reporter) providing commentary. The Cowboys claimed their first win over the Jets in 16 years with a 30-10 triumph back in 2023. CeeDee Lamb (DAL) hauled in 11 catches for 143 yards.

Two longtime AFC franchises get together as part of the Week #5 schedule as Tre Tucker and the Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) visit Jonathan Taylor and the surprisingly good Indianapolis Colts (3-1) on Sunday, October 5, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, with Chris Myers (play-by-play), Mark Sanchez (analyst), & Kristina Pink (reporter) announcing. Things are sputtering in Vegas, as the squad has dropped three straight games following an Opening Day win. Last week, the Raiders suffered a heartbreaking 25-24 loss to Chicago as the potential game-winning field goal was blocked in the fourth quarter. The Colts dropped their first game of the season last week, losing 27-20 to the Rams at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty (rookie) has forced 26 missed tackles in 2025, according to Next Gen Stats, the second most in the NFL. With 2.0 sacks, Raiders DE Maxx Crosby would get his 14th career game 2.0+ sacks, passing Howie Long (13) for the second most of such games in Raiders history (since 1982). Colts RB Jonathan Taylor has carried the ball 77 times for 414 yards and three touchdowns so far in 2025. Plus, Taylor leads the league in rushing. Since entering the NFL in 2017, Colts CB Kenny Moore II has registered the second-most sacks (11.0) among cornerbacks in the NFL.

One of the Week #5 NFL on Fox games originates from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, as Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins (1-3) provide the opposition for Chuba Hubbard and the homestanding Carolina Panthers (3-1) on Sunday, October 5, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. This week's Dolphins at Panthers broadcast team on Fox features play-by-play commentator Eric Collins (making his NFL on Fox play-by-play debut), analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth, and sideline reporter Jennifer Hale. On Monday night, the Dolphins defeated the Jets 27-21 for their first win of the season. The Panthers were clobbered 42-13 by the Patriots at Gillette Stadium last Sunday. Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle had 48 receiving yards last week. Dolphins CB Rasul Douglas had 2 PD & 1st sack of season in Week 4. Panthers S Nick Scott tied for the team lead with a season-high 6 tackles last week. Panthers QB Bryce Young passed for 150 yards & TD vs. 0 INTs last week.

Marshon Lattimore and the Washington Commanders (2-2) fly cross-country this week for an interconference clash with Keenan Allen and the Los Angeles Chargers (3-1) in the "America's Game of the Week" feature game on Sunday, October 5, at 4:25 PM ET on Fox, as Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play), seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady (analyst), Erin Andrews (reporter), and Tom Rinaldi (reporter) describe the action. The Commanders fell to the Falcons 34-27 in Week 4. The Chargers lead the AFC West division with a 3-1 mark, having one of the league's best defenses. In Week 4, Chargers OLB Tuli Tuipulotu had four of the team's six sacks in a 21-18 loss to the New York Giants.

Derrick Barnes and the Detroit Lions (3-1) confront Demetrius Knight Jr. and the Cincinnati Bengals (2-2) in an "America's Game of the Week" matchup on Sunday, October 5, at 4:25 PM ET on Fox, with play-by-play commentator Kevin Kugler, analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl "Moose" Johnston, and sideline reporter Allison Williams. In Week #4, the Lions dominated against the Browns, easily winning by a final score of 34-10. The Bengals were embarrassed by the Broncos, 28-3, on "Monday Night Football" last week. Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown had two receiving touchdowns last week vs. the Browns. Lions DE Aidan Hutchinson had two sacks & sixth career forced fumble last week vs. the Browns. The Bengals try to get back to the win column after two uninspiring losses in Minneapolis & Denver. It was a quiet night for Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins vs. the Broncos last Monday night. Chase was limited to five receptions and 23 receiving yards, while Higgins only had three receptions for 32 yards.

At 7:30 PM ET, Fox will recap Sunday's NFL games with "The OT presented by Ford." Hosts Curt Menefee and Terry Bradshaw, alongside analysts Howie Long, Rob Gronkowski, and Michael Strahan, offer insight and analysis about what transpired during the Sunday afternoon schedule. Insider Jay Glazer contributes with news and notes that arose from Sunday's games.

The Ravens have been decimated by injury, with 10 starters currently dealing with it, including QB Lamar Jackson and CB Nate Wiggins, among others. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson leads the league in passing touchdowns with 10.

Two NFC teams match up in Week #5 from the Big Easy as Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants (1-3) take on Alontae Taylor and the winless New Orleans Saints (0-4) on Sunday, October 5, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, with Andrew Catalon, Super Bowl champion Jason McCourty, Charles Davis, and AJ Ross. Saints RB Alvin Kamara had 15 carries for 70 yards last week vs. the Bills. Saints DE Cameron Jordan recorded four tackles and a sack last week against the Bills.

In a competitive match last week against the Eagles, the Buccaneers were narrowly defeated 31-25. The Seahawks squeezed out a 23-20 win over the Cardinals on "Thursday Night Football" last week. Both the Buccaneers and Seahawks are celebrating their 50th anniversary seasons in 2025. These squads joined the NFL in 1976 as expansion clubs. | ● Monday, September 29, 2025

Highlights for the 2025 MLB Wild Card Series include:
  • ESPN Networks (ABC, ESPN) will exclusively televise all four MLB Wild Card Series beginning on Tuesday, September 30.
  • Two Wild Card Series matchups feature divisional matchups — Tigers vs. Guardians & Red Sox vs. Yankees.
  • Two Wild Card Series matchups feature teams playing against each other in the postseason for just the second time ever — Padres vs. Cubs (first meeting since 1984 NLCS) & Reds vs. Dodgers (first meeting since 1995 NLDS).
  • AL Central Remix: For the second straight postseason, the Tigers and Guardians will meet. The lone difference is that this meeting is taking place during the Wild Card Series, not the Division Series. The series begins Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM ET on ESPN.
  • Cubs, Padres Play in Wild Card Series: Pete Crow-Armstrong and the Chicago Cubs host Manny Machado in this best-of-three playoff series to determine who will go to the Division Series. The series kicks off on Tuesday at 3:00 PM ET on ABC.
  • Rivalry Renewed: I love this! Jazz Chisholm Jr. and the New York Yankees face their rival, Jarren Duran and the Boston Red Sox, with a Division Series berth at stake during this intriguing Wild Card Series matchup.

It's time for postseason baseball! We begin the fun with the best-of-three MLB Wild Card Series starting on Tuesday, September 30. The ESPN family of networks is your exclusive home for all of the action during the Wild Card Series round, with games on either ESPN or ABC. Each day, Tuesday through Thursday, up to four Wild Card Series games will be played.

Two bitter foes from the American League Central break the seal on postseason play as Riley Greene and the Detroit Tigers (No. 6 seed) face Steven Kwan and the AL Central champion Cleveland Guardians (No. 3 seed) in Game 1 of the American League Wild Card Series on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM ET on ESPN, featuring commentary from Sean McDonough (play-by-play), Todd Frazier (analyst), & Taylor McGregor (reporter). The series victor here grabs a spot in the Division Series to square off against the No. 2 seed Seattle Mariners. The loser of this series is done for the year. In addition, Tigers vs. Guardians will be carried on ESPN Radio for a national audience, as described by Mike Ferrin (play-by-play) & Kyle Peterson (analyst).

A fun National League Wild Card series matchup serves the late afternoon game on ABC as Xander Bogaerts and the San Diego Padres (No. 5 seed) take on Dansby Swanson and the Chicago Cubs (No. 4 seed) in Game #1 Tuesday, beginning at 3:00 PM ET, with Kevin Brown, Jessica Mendoza, Ben McDonald, and Jesse Rogers on the call. The winner will punch their ticket to the Division Series to face the No. 1 seed Milwaukee Brewers. The loser is eliminated. ESPN Radio provides national audio coverage of Padres vs. Cubs, as play-by-play commentator Mike Couzens & analyst Chris Burke narrate the action from Wrigley Field.

Tuesday's playoff coverage shifts over to ESPN for a primetime doubleheader. First up, at 6:00 PM (ET), one of baseball's best rivalries collides with the postseason feel as Ceddanne Rafaela and the Boston Red Sox (No. 5 seed) visit Giancarlo Stanton and the defending American League champion New York Yankees (No. 4 seed) for the start of a best-of-three Wild Card Series to see which club can move on to the American League Division Series and get the No. 1 seed Toronto Blue Jays. Veteran play-by-play commentator and the voice of "Sunday Night Baseball", Karl Ravech, calls the Red Sox vs. Yankees Wild Card series alongside analysts David Cone and Eduardo Pérez. Buster Olney contributes from the field. Over on ESPN Radio, Roxy Bernstein & Gregg Olsen team up for the radio call.

Tuesday's Wild Card Series nightcap happens from Los Angeles as Hunter Greene and the Cincinnati Reds (No. 6 seed), who somehow wrestled the final Wild Card series spot away from the Mets, go up against Mookie Betts and the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers (No. 3 seed) for Game 1 of the Wild Card Series at 9:00 PM ET on ESPN, with Jon "Boog" Sciambi (play-by-play), Doug Glanville (analyst), & Alden González (reporter) handling commentary duties. The winner goes to Philadelphia and gets the assignment of opposing the No. 2 seed Phillies in the NLDS. The loser sees their campaign conclude. Play-by-play commentator Tom Hart and analyst Tim Kurkjian work the Reds vs. Dodgers series for ESPN Radio.

Following Tuesday's Wild Card Series openers, Game 2s for each series will be played on Wednesday, October 1 (at the same time slots as Game 1. If any Game 3s are needed, they will be played on Thursday, October 2.

This Saturday, the Division Series begins! Follow this link for more information about the Division Series.

Which game is your local Fox station getting this Sunday, and who will be announcing the action? We will spill the tea for you exclusively here on the Week #4 edition of the "NFL on Fox: Field Pass".

"Fox NFL Sunday" will have interviews with NFL newsmakers, analysis, and predictions leading up to kickoff.

Two of the three remaining unbeaten teams in the NFC clash as Jamel Dean and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-0) host Kelee Ringo and the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) on Sunday, September 28, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, with play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt, analyst and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, reporter Erin Andrews, and reporter Tom Rinaldi announcing the action. The Eagles erased a 19-point second-half deficit, punctuated by Jordan Davis' TD off a blocked winning field-goal try, for a 33-26 win over the Rams in Week 3.

After Detroit's convincing win on Monday night, can Jahmyr Gibbs and the Detroit Lions (2-1) get their second win in less than a week against Myles Garrett and the visiting Cleveland Browns (1-2)? The Browns vs. Lions matchup, scheduled for a 1:00 PM ET start on Sunday, September 28, on Fox, has Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Super Bowl champion Jonathan Vilma (analyst), & Megan Olivi (reporter) describing the action from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. The Browns are fresh off a crazy win last week vs. the Packers, defeating Green Bay 13-10 thanks to K Andre Szmyt's game-winning 55-yard field goal as regulation time ended. The Lions vanquished the Ravens 38-30 on "Monday Night Football" last week. Now, the Lions play the Browns on a short week. The Browns' defense leads the NFL this year in total defense (204.3 yards per game) and run defense (57.3 yards per game). Browns DE Myles Garrett is tied for second in the NFL with four sacks. The Lions have the most fourth-down conversions in the league since 2021 (57.2%), when current head coach Dan Campbell began his tenure there. Following a devastating injury in 2024, Lions DL Aidan Hutchinson has ROARED back in the spotlight with two sacks through three games.

A pair of 1-2 clubs play in Week #4 as Derrick Brown and the Carolina Panthers (1-2) take a trip to Foxborough, Massachusetts, to battle Stefon Diggs and the New England Patriots (1-2) on Sunday, September 28, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, featuring play-by-play commentator Chris Myers, analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth, and sideline reporter Jennifer Hale. Carolina enters Week #4 after last week's shutout 30-0 win over Atlanta for their first victory of the season. New England dropped a 21-14 decision to the Steelers last week at Gillette Stadium. Bryce Young and the Panthers look to continue the momentum from last week's dominant win over the Falcons. Carolina has at least one interception in each of their three game contests this season. The Patriots were 4-for-5 on fourth downs in Week 3. So far, New England has yet to allow a team to obtain 100 yards rushing against them. Last week, the Steelers were limited to 64 rushing yards as a team.

An important interconference is set to unfold at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, as Josh Hines-Allen and the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) link up with Ricky Pearsall and the undefeated San Francisco 49ers (3-0) on Sunday, September 28, at 4:05 PM ET on Fox, with Adam Amin (play-by-play) teaming up with analyst and NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez and reporter Kristina Pink for the game call. The Jaguars bested the Texans 17-10 in Week #3. San Francisco, meanwhile, walked off the Cardinals with an Eddy Pinero field goal as time expired last week, 16-15. The Jaguars lead the NFL with seven interceptions and nine takeaways through the first three weeks, including multiple interceptions in each game. Jaguars WR/DB Travis Hunter (rookie) had a season-high six tackles last week vs. the Texans. The 49ers can start 3-0 for the third time (2019 and 2023, with both of those seasons ending in a Super Bowl appearance) since current head coach Kyle Shanahan was hired in 2017. 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey had his 12th career game with at least 10 receptions, which is the most by a running back in NFL history.

Charvarius Ward and the Indianapolis Colts (3-0) chase down their fourth consecutive win vs. Puka Nacua and the Los Angeles Rams (2-1) on Sunday, September 28, at 4:05 PM ET on Fox, with play-by-play announcer Kevin Kugler, analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl "Moose" Johnston, and reporter Allison Williams. The Colts trounced the Titans 41-20 in Nashville last week for the club's third straight win. Meanwhile, the Rams try to recover following last week's heartbreaking 33-26 loss in Philadelphia, where K Joshua Karty's potential game-winning field goal was blocked and returned by Eagles DT Jordan Davis for the game-winning touchdown. The Colts can start 4-0 for the first time since 2009 with a victory in Inglewood this weekend. Colts RB Jonathan Taylor leads the league with 338 rushing yards and 431 scrimmage yards entering play in Week 4. Rams star WR Puka Nacua currently leads the NFL with 29 receptions and 333 receiving yards. He had 11 catches for 112 yards in last week's loss to the Eagles. During Week #3, the former BYU and Washington wide receiver became the fifth player all-time with at least 10 receptions and 100 receiving yards in six games within his first three career seasons, joining Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (seven games), Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (seven games), NFL wide receiver Michael Thomas (seven games), former NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (six games).
