Hi, everyone! Welcome to the Week #6 edition of the "NFL on Fox: Field Pass"! Roughly a third of the way through this 106th NFL season, Fox presents regional coverage throughout the afternoon on Sunday, October 12. Additionally, Fox will also carry Game 1 of the American League Championship Series at 8:00 PM (ET).

On Sunday, Fox has five games on their network. The games include Rams-Ravens (1:00 PM ET), Cardinals-Colts (1:00 PM ET), Seahawks-Jaguars (1:00 PM ET), Cowboys-Panthers (1:00 PM ET), & Titans-Raiders (4:05 PM ET). This week's article will discuss this Sunday's NFL game action on Fox and the distribution splits for each game. With that in mind, let's jump right into the content.

Sunday's Week #6 NFL coverage on Fox begins with "Fox NFL Kickoff presented by Little Caesars" at 11:00 AM ET. Charissa Thompson hosts "Fox NFL Kickoff" alongside a pair of analysts who made a legendary impact on the field — Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson and three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman. "Fox NFL Kickoff" offers a preview of the day's NFL action, including interviews with NFL newsmakers, reports from NFL game venues, breaking news, and updates.

The two-hour live programming block for Week #6 on Fox continues with "Fox NFL Sunday presented by GMC" at 12:00 PM ET. Veteran broadcaster Curt Menefee hosts the iconic pregame show alongside four-time Super Bowl champion and Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw. Joining them on the desk are Pro Football Hall of Famers Howie Long and Michael Strahan, with four-time Super Bowl champion and four-time All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski making regular appearances throughout the season. Bradshaw and Long are original cast members from the show's 1994 debut. Lead NFL on Fox insider Jay Glazer delivers exclusive insight and breaking news from around the league. "Fox NFL Sunday" features interviews, analysis, predictions, and breaking news.

Quentin Lake and the Los Angeles Rams (3-2) make the journey out to the East Coast this weekend to compete against Kyle Hamilton and the Baltimore Ravens (1-4) on Sunday, October 12, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, with the NFL on Fox's lead crew of play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt, analyst and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, and reporters Erin Andrews & Tom Rinaldi on the broadcast call. The Rams are coming off a tough overtime loss to the 49ers, 26-23, last Thursday night. The Ravens crushed the Texans last week, 44-10 at home. Los Angeles desperately needs to hit the reset button as the club looks for an important win over a struggling Ravens team that is ravaged by injuries to key players. Rams QB Matthew Stafford leads the NFL in passing, meaning that Stafford can throw the ball effectively. The Ravens are 6-1 vs. the Rams, including an overtime win in 2023 when the teams last met. The Ravens are stumbling. The Ravens have lost three straight games. Baltimore needs a win, and they need one right now to salvage their season to a certain extent.

Xavier Legette and the Carolina Panthers (2-3) host Javonte Williams and the Dallas Cowboys (2-2-1) on Sunday, October 12, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, as Adam Amin, former Panthers tight end Greg Olsen, & Pam Oliver announce the NFC matchup. Dak Prescott's four TD passes led the Cowboys past the Jets, 37-22, in Week 5. The Panthers erased a 17-0 deficit to come back and beat the Dolphins 27-24. Former Cowboy RB Rico Dowdle ran for 206 yards and a score in the win.

Defense is the main headline in this Week #6 interconference confrontation as Leonard Williams and the Seattle Seahawks (3-2) play Josh Hines-Allen and the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1) on Sunday, October 12, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, called by Chris Myers (play-by-play), Mark Schlereth (analyst), and Sarah Kustok (reporter). The Seahawks, after last week's 38-35 loss to the Buccaneers, are looking to get back on track. The Jaguars defeated the Chiefs 31-28 on "Monday Night Football" last week. With a win on Sunday, Seattle would claim victory in nine straight games away from Lumen Field in Seattle. Seahawks K Jason Myers needs 46 points to pass Norm Johnson to become Seattle's all-time points scored leader with 811 points. The Jaguars have scored 127 points through 5 games, averaging 25.4 points per game. Jaguars LB Devin Lloyd, who won AFC Defensive Player of the Month for September, picked off Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and returned it 99 yards for a touchdown last week.

Marvin Harrison Jr. and the Arizona Cardinals (2-3) participate in an interconference game against Nick Cross and the Indianapolis Colts (4-1) on Sunday, October 12, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, with commentary from play-by-play announcer Kevin Kugler, analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl "Moose" Johnston, and sideline reporter Allison Williams. Last week, the Cardinals blew a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter and lost 22-21 to the Titans. In Week #5, the Colts demolished the Raiders 40-6 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Cardinals are traveling to Indianapolis for the first time since the 2017 season. In five games with Arizona, LB Josh Sweat has 12 tackles, 5.0 sacks, 7 QB hits, 6 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, and a pass defensed. The Colts rank fourth in the NFL in first-down efficiency, with 54.2 percent of their first-down plays gaining four or more yards. Colts DT DeForest Buckner is one of just two players in the NFL to register at least 6.5 sacks the past seven seasons (2018-24), with Browns DE Myles Garrett being the other one.

Tyler Lockett and the Tennessee Titans (1-4) travel to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for the very first time to face Geno Smith and the Las Vegas Raiders (1-4) on Sunday, October 12, at 4:05 PM ET on Fox, with Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma, & Megan Olivi. Last week, the Titans had a thrilling comeback win, as they toppled the Cardinals 22-21 in come-from-behind fashion. The Raiders were trounced in Indianapolis last week, 40-6. The Titans play on the West Coast for the second straight weekend, after last week's visit to Glendale, Arizona. No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward FINALLY has his first professional football win under his belt. Raiders DE Maxx Crosby has played in 100 games since he entered the NFL back in 2019. With one receiving touchdown Sunday, Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty (rookie) would get his third career receiving touchdown.

In this week's article, you will find game previews for each of the CBS games this Sunday and distribution splits in terms of markets receiving the games. With that in mind, let's get started.

Pregame coverage on CBS begins at 12:00 PM ET with "The NFL Today powered by RAM Trucks". This show will have highlights, interviews, predictions, and analysis from an esteemed lineup of talent. Veteran sportscaster James Brown serves as host, joined by analyst and former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson, analyst and 2016 NFL MVP Matt Ryan, and analyst and Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach Bill Cowher. Lead NFL on CBS insider Jonathan Jones joins the program to provide additional insight and perspective from around the National Football League.

T.J. Watt and the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) seek their 22nd straight regular-season victory at home over Denzel Ward and the Cleveland Browns (1-4) on Sunday, October 12, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, with Ian Eagle (play-by-play), three-time Defensive Player of the Year winner J.J. Watt (analyst), and Evan Washburn (reporter) on the call. Cleveland won at Pittsburgh 48-37 in a 2020 wild-card game. A rejuvenated Aaron Rodgers passed for eight touchdowns before the Steelers' bye in Week 5.

Ladd McConkey and the Los Angeles Chargers (3-2) fly to the East Coast to face off with Jaylen Waddle and the Miami Dolphins (1-4) on Sunday, October 12, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, with Andrew Catalon (play-by-play), Super Bowl champion Jason McCourty (analyst), Charles Davis (analyst), and AJ Ross (reporter) teaming up for the broadcast. The Chargers were vanquished by the Commanders 27-10 last week. In Week 5, the Dolphins suffered a disappointing loss, falling 27-24 to the Panthers. The Chargers come into this week's contest tied with the Broncos for first place in the AFC West. At least four Charger players have at least 20 catches at this stage of the year — Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnston, Ladd McConkey, and Omarion Hampton. Dolphins TE Darren Waller has scored three receiving touchdowns in two games with the Dolphins, the most by a player in his first two games in Dolphins franchise history.

After last week's upset in Buffalo, Stefon Diggs and the New England Patriots (3-2) look for another win on the road, this time versus Chase Young and the New Orleans Saints (1-4) on Sunday, October 12, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS. Spero Dedes calls the action with analyst Adam Archuleta and reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala. Last week, the Patriots stunned the Bills 23-20 on "Sunday Night Football". Meanwhile, New Orleans is coming off their first victory of the season, a 26-14 triumph over the Giants last Sunday. The Patriots are currently in the middle of a three-game road trip, with this week's trip to NOLA being the second game (next week, New England travels to Nashville to battle the Titans). So far, New England is fifth in the NFL against the run, giving 85.6 rushing yards per game. Last week, the Saints erupted vs. the Giants, scoring 23 unanswered points to win the football game. Saints QB Spencer Rattler tossed for 225 yards last week, including an 87-yard strike to WR Rashid Shaheed.

Kendrick Bourne and the San Francisco 49ers make the cross-country trek to take on Tristan Wirfs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a clash of 4-1 clubs on Sunday, October 12, at 4:25 PM ET on CBS, featuring play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz, analyst Tony Romo, and sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson. The 49ers stunned the Rams 26-23 in overtime last week, while the Buccaneers surprised the Seahawks 38-35 last Sunday.

Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers (2-1-1) return from their bye week to host Trey Hendrickson and the sinking Cincinnati Bengals (2-3) on Sunday, October 12, at 4:25 PM ET on CBS, as play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan joins analyst and former NFL quarterback Trent Green and reporter Melanie Collins to provide commentary. Last week, the Bengals lost 37-24 to the Lions in Cincinnati. Things are getting bad in Cincinnati, as the team has dropped three straight games entering Sunday's game in Green Bay. The Bengals have recently acquired veteran quarterback Joe Flacco as they seek assistance at the starting quarterback position while Joe Burrow is sidelined due to turf toe injury. For the first time since 2017, the Packers will face the Bengals at Lambeau Field. Since 2019, the Packers have achieved an impressive 8-3 record at home in October, boasting a .727 winning percentage, which is tied with the Ravens for the highest number of October home wins during this timeframe.

Stanley Cup champion T.J. Oshie joins the ESPN family as an NHL studio and game analyst for the 2025-26 NHL season.

John Tortorella returns to ESPN/ABC as NHL studio analyst for the 2025-26 NHL season.

Ahead of the 2025-26 NHL season, ESPN has decided to re-up several key NHL on-air talent at the network, including play-by-play announcer Bob Wischusen, analysts Kevin Weekes, P.K. Subban, and Cassie Campbell-Pascall, and reporter Leah Hextall. (📸 Photo courtesy of ESPN Press Room)

With the 2025-26 NHL season set to begin this week, ESPN has reached multi-year agreements with several NHL commentators, including Bob Wischusen, Kevin Weekes, P.K. Subban, Cassie Campbell-Pascall, & Leah Hextall. This group of announcers, along with other on-air personalities, will serve as the backbone for ESPN's NHL coverage this year.

Bob Wischusen, who began his tenure at ESPN in 2005 as a play-by-play announcer, has played a significant role in the network's NHL coverage since it reacquired the rights to the NHL in 2021. A native of New Jersey, he is recognized for his professionalism and his talent for narrating the stories of the athletes he covers across various sports, including college football and golf. Currently, Wischusen serves as the radio voice for the NFL's New York Jets.

Cassie Campbell-Pascall, a four-time Olympic medalist and eight-time IIHF World champion, continues her role with ESPN's NHL coverage, having first joined the NHL team in 2021. Renowned for her groundbreaking contributions to the sport of hockey, Campbell-Pascall made history in 2006 by becoming the first woman to serve as a color analyst for CBC's Hockey Night in Canada. Additionally, she holds the position of special advisor to the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL).

Norris Trophy winner and three-time NHL All-Star P.K. Subban will retain his role alongside fellow analyst Mark Messier and host Steve Levy for "ABC Hockey Saturday" studio coverage beginning in January. P.K. is known for his relatability and his lively personality. In addition, Subban, who played in the NHL for 13 seasons, is very generous with his time off the ice, staying involved in youth hockey initiatives throughout the United States and Canada.

Kevin Weekes, a former NHL goaltender recognized as one of the most reliable and trustworthy voices in hockey, is set to continue his dual role as both a game and studio analyst for ESPN/ABC. Having spent 11 seasons in the NHL, Weekes made history in 2009 by becoming the first Black analyst to provide coverage for ice hockey at the professional level. He continues to represent the sport of hockey with distinction through his impressive body of work in both the United States and Canada.

Now in her fifth season at ESPN, Leah Hextall will once again serve as a reporter during ESPN's NHL game coverage. In 2020, Leah was the first female play-by-play commentator to call an NHL game. Additionally, she was the first woman to call an NCAA men's ice hockey championship game for ESPN back in 2019. Hextall's experience helps elevate her groundbreaking work in hockey. Leah will continue to be a signature voice for the NHL on ESPN.

This year, ESPN welcomes a new face to the team. T.J. Oshie, who played for 16 seasons between the St. Louis Blues and the Washington Capitals, combined for more than 1,000 regular-season games and 302 goals. Oshie also added 69 points in 106 Stanley Cup Playoff games, highlighted by 21 points during the 2018 Stanley Cup championship run for the Capitals. Oshie will split his time between a game analyst and a studio analyst.

John Tortorella returns to ESPN's NHL studio coverage this year following a one-year stint with the network back in 2021-22. Tortorella, known for his down-to-earth style and unique commentary, brings nearly a quarter of a century of experience to the table. Tortorella was a head coach in the NHL for 23 years, including leading the Tampa Bay Lightning franchise to their first-ever Stanley Cup championship in 2003-04.

The 2025 American League Championship Series begins on Sunday, October 12, at 8:00 PM (ET) on Fox and FS1 as Julio Rodríguez and the Seattle Mariners (No. 2 seed) battle Alejandro Kirk and the Toronto Blue Jays (No. 1 seed) in Game 1 of their best-of-seven set. The Blue Jays eliminated the Yankees in four games in the American League Division Series. Seattle outlasted Detroit in an iconic extra-inning affair in Game 5 of the ALDS (Mariners won 3-2 in 15 games thanks to Jorge Polanco's heroics). 🎙 Joe Davis, the voice of the MLB on Fox, provides commentary for the Mariners vs. Blue Jays series alongside analyst and Hall of Famer John Smoltz, reporter Ken Rosenthal, and fellow reporter Tom Verducci.

Fox will have pregame and postgame coverage of the ALCS from their studios in Los Angeles. Hosts Kevin Burkhardt and Matt Vasgersian will be joined by first ballot Hall of Famers David Ortiz and Derek Jeter, plus World Series champion Alex Rodriguez.

The following night, the 2025 National League Championship Series begins. On Monday, October 13, at 8:00 PM (ET) on TBS, William Contreras and the Milwaukee Brewers (No. 1 seed) host Teoscar Hernandez and the reigning World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers (No. 3 seed) in Game 1 of the NLCS. The Brewers beat the Cubs 3-2 in the National League Division Series to advance to their first LCS since 2018. The Dodgers, in WILD fashion, vanquished the Phillies 3-1 in the National League Division Series. The Dodgers are in their 4th LCS over the past six seasons (2020-25). 🎙 Brian Anderson (play-by-play), Jeff Francoeur (analyst), Ron Darling (analyst), & Lauren Shehadi (reporter) will be on the call for the Dodgers vs. Brewers series.

Adam Lefkoe will host Turner Sports' coverage of the NLCS, with Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez, 2007 NL MVP, and 2008 World Series champion Jimmy Rollins, and three-time All-Star Curtis Granderson. Lefkoe, Martinez, Rollins, and Granderson will travel to Milwaukee & Los Angeles for on-site studio coverage during the duration of the NLCS.

League Championship Series coverage continues through at least Thursday, October 16. If additional games are needed in the League Championship Series round, they would be played between Friday, October 17, and Tuesday, October 21.
