Lace 'em up, Jalen! The NFL has a full weekend of football action 🏈 to satisfy the football fan as we celebrate family, food, and football during this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend across our beautiful country of America.

For Week 12, we have a double dose on the broadcast and market listings report. In addition to the Sunday afternoon games, for this week only, I will also include the national Thanksgiving broadcasts on Thursday, November 23 (FOX has the Packers vs. Lions game at 12:30 PM ET, while CBS has the Commanders vs. Cowboys game at 4:30 PM ET). For the interest of transparency, NBC has the Thanksgiving night as the 49ers visit the Seahawks at 8:20 PM ET (just thought you should know where to turn to following the Washington-Dallas conclusion on CBS).

Thanksgiving 🦃 is a time to be thankful to have each other to love ❤ and reflect  🏈 on the football season that we have had already and what's going to come our way during the remainder of the regular season. This week, the playoff picture really becomes an important factor to keep in mind as we enter the final third of the 2023 regular season.

Following Thanksgiving and Amazon's Black Friday game (Dolphins/Jets), CBS and FOX will ensure that you have room for seconds or even maybe a third plate of Thanksgiving football weekend action. CBS Sports will have a doubleheader, with Steelers/Bengals (1 PM ET with Eagle/Davis/Washburn) and Bills/Eagles (4:25 PM ET with Nantz/Romo/Wolfson) as the marquee games. FOX Sports will have a singleheader, with games including Browns/Broncos, Patriots/Giants, Saints/Falcons, Panthers/Titans & Rams/Cardinals.

With that in mind, time to provide y'all with the highlight for this weekend's slate of action. And by the way, Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays to everyone out there!

* Tamir's Week 12 Highlights (Thanksgiving / Sunday):
  • Thanksgiving -- Thursday, November 23
We will celebrate the legacy coach and commentator John Madden 🙏 with the following national broadcasts this Thursday:

. 12:30 PM ET (FOX) - Packers vs. Lions: Jared Goff and the 8-2 Detroit Lions are off to their best start to a football campaign since 1962. However, on this Thanksgiving Day 🦃, Jordan Love and the Packers (4-6) look to spoil the Turkey Day party in Motown. The Packers gotta have this game to keep their NFC Wild Card hopes alive. Detroit beat Green Bay 34-20 in Week 4 in the first matchup. The longtime NFC North rivals meet on Thanksgiving for the first time since the 2013 season. 🎙 Kevin Burkhardt provides the play-by-play alongside three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen. Tom Rinaldi and Erin Andrews will report from the sidelines.

. 4:30 PM ET (CBS) - Commanders vs. Cowboys: Micah Parsons, Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys (7-3) enter this Thanksgiving Day 🦃 with momentum on their side following blowout wins against inferior opponents in recent weeks (the Giants in Week 10 & the Panthers in Week 11). Now, can Dallas continue their recent winning ways against their longtime NFC East foe, the Washington Commanders (4-7)? The Commanders and Cowboys clash on Thanksgiving for the first time since the 2020 season, when Washington handed Dallas a ugly 41-16 defeat. 🎙 Jim Nantz (play-by-play), Tony Romo (analyst) & Tracy Wolfson (reporter) will have the call from Arlington.

  • Sunday, November 26
. 1:00 PM ET (CBS) - Steelers vs. Bengals: Kenny Pickett and the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) come off a heartbreaking 13-10 loss in Week 11 to their AFC North divisional rivals, the Cleveland Browns. Pittsburgh goes up against a Cincinnati Bengals (5-5) beginning their life without their starting quarterback, Joe Burrow, as Jake Browning is expected to make his first start at quarterback. Burrow is OUT for the rest of the season due to an injured wrist. This is a critical contest as both teams fight for playoff positioning. 🎙 Ian Eagle and Charles Davis anchor the broadcast from the booth, with Evan Washburn serving as the reporter.

. 1:00 PM ET (CBS) - Jaguars vs. Texans: RB Travis Etienne Jr. and the Jacksonville Jaguars (7-3) look to stack up back-to-back victories together as the team makes a trip to the Space City of Houston, Texas to match up with rookie quarterback sensation C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans (6-4), winners of three straight games. The AFC South's top two teams are set to collide at NRG Stadium. 🎙 Play-by-play announcer Andrew Catalon takes viewers through each play of the game, joined by former NFL quarterback Matt Ryan and former NFL running back Tiki Barber, with AJ Ross reporting from the sidelines.

. 1:00 PM ET (FOX) - Saints vs. Falcons: Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints (5-5) are coming off their bye week, as well as Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons (4-6). Both teams should be well rested entering a contest that has major division implications, as the NFC South is wide open with New Orleans having the only .500 record in the division right now (Tampa Bay is 4-6, Atlanta is 4-6 & Carolina is 1-9). 🎙 TBD.

. 4:05 PM ET (FOX) - Browns vs. Broncos: How about this? A Browns-Broncos game in late November actually means a lot to the playoff picture. Myles Garrett and the highly formidable Cleveland Browns (7-3) defense travels into the Mile High City this weekend. Plus, the rise of rookie Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson continues (Thompson-Robinson is starting in place for Deshaun Watson, who is OUT for the season with a shoulder injury). Thompson-Robinson showed poise, leadership, and calmness as the Browns knocked off the Steelers last week. Broncos QB Russell Wilson did it again last week! Wilson threw a late-TD pass to WR Courtland Sutton as the Broncos edged the Vikings, 21-20 on "Sunday Night Football". Amazingly, the Denver Broncos (5-5) are alive and well in the AFC playoff picture following four straight dubs after a putrid 1-5 start. 🎙 TBD.

. 4:25 PM ET (CBS) - Bills vs. Eagles: In the national doubleheader broadcast, Stefon Diggs and the Buffalo Bills (6-5) battle Jalen Hurts and the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles (9-1) in a must-see matchup from the City of Brotherly Love. Stefon's Bills stamped the Jets 32-6 during Week 11. Buffalo faces a crucial slate of matchups as the team looks to keep dreams alive for a postseason berth (Philadelphia, Kansas City in Week 14 & Dallas in Week 15, to name a few). Haason Reddick and the Eagles continue to stay on top as the best team in football following a upset win on Monday night versus the Chiefs. 🎙 Jim Nantz is set to call the play-by-play action from Philadelphia, alongside game analyst Tony Romo and sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson.

. 4:25 PM ET (CBS) - Chiefs vs. Raiders: Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs (7-3) visit Davante Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders (5-6) in the first of two divisional matchups this season. The Raiders are coming off a 20-13 loss to Jalen Ramsey's Miami Dolphins in Week 11. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are facing a short week following a 21-17 loss to the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles.🎙 The wonderful voice of Kevin Harlan serves as the play-by-play commentator, with analyst Trent Green and reporter Melanie Collins joining Harlan for the broadcast.
