2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Conference Semifinal Television Schedule and Announcers

• The NHL Conference Semifinal round begins on Tuesday with Lightning vs. Panthers, Game 1 followed by Blues vs. Avalanche, Game 1 (both games on TNT)

The National Hockey League (NHL) will officially begin the Conference Semifinal round on Tuesday, May 17 with a pair of games on TNT. But before we move on to the Second Round, let us catch our breath following a first round that furnished us with five seven-game series (Bruins/Hurricanes, Maple Leafs/Lightning, Kings/Oilers, Penguins/Rangers & Stars/Flames).

Tuesday's first game features the Battle of Florida as the backdrop. The top team in the Atlantic Division this year, the Florida Panthers, host the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal series. The Panthers & Lightning will square off in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the second consecutive season, with Tampa Bay winning last year's playoff meeting. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM (ET) on TNT.

Tuesday's second game has Jordan Binnington and the St. Louis Blues taking on Devon Toews and the Colorado Avalanche in Game 1 of their Western Conference Semifinal series. The Blues & Avalanche will once again meet in the Stanley Cup playoffs, with the Avs taking last season's playoff matchup. Faceoff is scheduled for 9:30 PM (ET) on TNT.

The Conference Semifinal round continues on Wednesday, May 18 with a pair of games on ESPN.

Wednesday's first game sees Ian Cole and the top team in the Metropolitan Division, the Carolina Hurricanes, host K'Andre Miller and one of Carolina's divisional rivals, the New York Rangers in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal series. For the second straight season, the Rangers and Hurricanes will meet up in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM (ET) on ESPN.

Wednesday's second game (and the final semifinal series to begin) has the Calgary Flames hosting the Edmonton Oilers, with a 9:30 PM (ET) faceoff on ESPN.

2022 NBA Playoffs: Conference Finals Television Schedule and Announcers

• The Conference Finals round opens up on Tuesday, May 17th (8:30 PM ET, ESPN) with Game 1 of the Heat vs. Celtics Eastern Conference Finals
• Western Conference Finals begin on Wednesday, May 18th (9 PM, ET, TNT) with Game 1 of the Mavericks vs. Warriors series
• ESPN (Games 1-2, 5-7) and ABC (Games 3-4) to televise Heat vs. Celtics Eastern Conference Finals
• TNT (all games) to televise Mavericks vs. Warriors Western Conference Finals

Following an exciting Conference Semifinal round, it is now time to move on to the Eastern Conference Finals and Western Conference Finals. This round will feature the two teams from each conference that survived the first two rounds of the NBA Playoffs, and thus punched their ticket to the penultimate round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs.

The Conference Final round will begin on Tuesday, May 17th, as Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics visit Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. This Conference Final will mark the second time in three years that these two teams will meet to determine the Eastern Conference champion. Miami defeated Boston 4-2 in the 2020 Eastern Conference Finals in the Orlando bubble. 

The game is scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM (ET) on ESPN. Play-by-play commentator Mike Breen, analysts Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson, alongside reporter Lisa Salters will provide commentary from on-site in Miami. Breen, J. Van Gundy, Jackson, and Salters will serve as the commentary team for all games of the Heat vs. Celtics Eastern Conference Final.

ABC will exclusively televise Games 3 & 4 of the Heat vs. Celtics series on Saturday, May 21st (Game 3) and Monday, May 23rd (Game 4), respectively, with both games starting at 8:30 PM (ET). ESPN will televise the remaining Eastern Conference Finals games.

The Conference Final in the West will start on Wednesday, May 18th at 9:00 PM (ET) on TNT. Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks visit Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of that best-of-seven series. Kevin Harlan will be on the call, with analysts Reggie Miller and Stan Van Gundy, plus reporter Allie LaForce. Harlan, Miller, S. Van Gundy, and LaForce will be TNT's broadcast team for each Western Conference Finals game.

TNT will be the exclusive broadcast home of the Western Conference Finals.
