- Fox resumes coverage of the 2025 MLB regular season with "Baseball Night in America" on Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 PM (ET) with regional coverage of Cubs vs. Mets & Giants vs. Twins (check your local listings or the bottom of this article).
- The Big Apple 🍎 Tussle (Cubs vs. Mets): Francisco Lindor and the NL East leading New York Mets host Michael Busch and the NL Central leading Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of a three-game weekend series on Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox.
- A Giant Series In The Twin Cities (Giants vs. Twins): LaMonte Wade Jr. and the San Francisco Giants, currently holding on to a National League Wild Card spot, look to continue their early season success at Target Field in Minneapolis, during the middle game of a three-game series against Carlos Correa and the Minnesota Twins, trying to make up some distance in the AL Wild Card hunt, on Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox.
As the sports calendar transverses through the busy month of May with several things of prime interest to the average sports fan, including the NBA Playoffs, Stanley Cup Playoffs, the NFL schedule release (coming up soon), etc., Fox Sports hopes to capitalize on the continuous amount of sports content with this week's edition of "Baseball Night in America".
On Saturday, May 10, at 7:00 PM (ET), Fox will regionalize two games across the country. Most of the country will be getting the Cubs vs. Mets game while other audiences will be getting the Giants vs. Twins game. Read on for more information about this week's MLB coverage on Fox. Keep in mind that this week features no national broadcasts on FS1, as Fox's Saturday primetime games are the only MLB on Fox games for this week.
Dansby Swanson and the NL Central leading Chicago Cubs hit the road for the middle game of a three-game weekend series against Pete Alonso and the NL Central leading New York Mets on Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. (ET) on Fox. As of May 5, the Cubs have first place in the NL Central with a 21-14 record while the Mets possess the top spot in the NL East with a 22-13 record. This is the first meeting of the season between these clubs, with the Mets scheduled to visit Wrigley Field in Chicago in late September (September 23-25). 🎙 Adam Amin (play-by-play), 2005 World Series champion AJ Pierzynski (analyst), & Ken Rosenthal (reporter) announce the action from Citi Field in Queens, New York.
Interleague play is the primary storyline as Wilmer Flores and the San Francisco Giants resume their three-game series against Byron Buxton and the Minnesota Twins at Target Field in Minneapolis on Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. (ET) on Fox. The top of the National League West is tight entering play on May 5, with San Francisco (22-13) just 1.5 games behind the Dodgers for first place in the division. San Francisco took three of four from the division rival Rockies this past weekend at Oracle Park in San Francisco. Minnesota just salvaged a 3-4 road trip with a weekend series win over the Red Sox at Fenway Park. Despite Minnesota's subpar start (15-20), they only trail the Royals by four games for a Wild Card spot (as of May 5). 🎙 Play-by-play commentator Jason Benetti joins analyst Tom Verducci to provide commentary from Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
