This week's "MLB on Fox: On Deck" highlights include:
  • To conclude the month of July, Fox once again steps on the field for "Baseball Night in America" on Saturday, July 26, at 7:00 PM (ET). Viewers will be treated to one of two game matchups: Dodgers at Red Sox, or Guardians at Royals.
  • Legendary Brands Tussle in Beantown: This contest certainly has Fox's attention! Will Smith and the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers participate in this exciting interleague matchup against Roman Anthony and the Boston Red Sox on Saturday, July 26, at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox.
  • AL Central Battle in Kansas City: Guardians-Royals: Teams looking to make a playoff push go head-to-head in Kansas City, when Carlos Santana and the Cleveland Guardians travel to Kauffman Stadium for divisional play against Salvador Perez and the Kansas City Royals on Saturday, July 26, at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox.

Do you feel the post-All-Star Break push? I do. Anyways, we welcome you back to another edition of "MLB on Fox: On Deck", where we talk about the games that FOX Sports televises weekly. This week, we tackle the final Saturday of July. Fox hopes that their lineup has you tuning in and checking the action out on the field. As a quick aside, this will be the last week for a while that regional coverage will be seen on the Fox broadcast network. With the Braves vs. Reds set to be nationally televised next weekend, the next time Fox will split games across the United States is Saturday, August 9 (Cubs-Cardinals, Phillies-Rangers). Just keep that in the back of your mind.

On Saturday, July 26, at 7:00 PM (ET), our friends over at Fox Sports begin their weekly Saturday "Baseball Night in America" coverage. This weekend, Fox will distribute two contests to various stations nationwide. In one matchup, Freddie Freeman and the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers make a long journey out East for a showdown with Carlos Narváez and the Boston Red Sox, as we have a 2018 World Series re-match on our hands. The other game features two AL Central foes as José Ramírez and the Cleveland Guardians clash with Bobby Witt Jr. and the Kansas City Royals. Which game will Fox broadcast in your local market, and who's set to narrate the action? Please keep reading for more information.

Folks, we are blessed with this Saturday night affair from Fenway Park in Boston! Mookie Betts and the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers continue their East Coast road swing against Ceddanne Rafaela and the Boston Red Sox in a 2018 World Series re-match on Saturday, July 26, at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox. Unless the teams meet in the World Series, the Red Sox & Dodgers only meet once per season, and this weekend is the selected timeframe for this series to unfold. Last year, Los Angeles swept Boston in a three-game series. Could we see Red Sox vs. Dodgers as the 2025 World Series matchup? Maybe. In the past 16 matchups, the Red Sox have recorded wins in 13 of them. Of course, the Red Sox grabbed 10 consecutive wins before the All-Star Break. This in-season turnaround has provided the Red Sox with a much-needed boost, as the team is focused on an AL Wild Card spot. Meanwhile, the Dodgers are experiencing a mid-July nosedive, losing 10 games in a 12-game stretch. Obviously, I am not concerned about this whatsoever. When it matters most, Andy Pages and the Dodgers will be in the thick of things. Besides, the Dodgers still have first place to themselves in the National League West. 🎤 Announcers are TBD.

A crucial American League Central matchup serves as the centerpiece at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. Bo Naylor and the Cleveland Guardians meet Maikel Garcia and the Kansas City Royals in a game that both teams desperately need for their American League Wild Card pursuits on Saturday, July 26, at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox. For the third time this year, the Guardians & Royals are meeting each other. The Guardians have nabbed four victories in six tries vs. the Royals this season. With both clubs under the .500 mark, this becomes an important series for both sides as the postseason race continues to sizzle here during the summer months. As you guys know, both Cleveland and Kansas City qualified for the postseason in 2024, and they hope to do it again in 2025. Cleveland has opened up their second half pretty well, winning three of four games since the Midsummer Classic break. Since the All-Star Break, Kansas City has split four games vs. the Marlins & Cubs, respectively. Guardians 3B José Ramírez leads the team with 20 home runs. Royals SS Bobby Witt Jr. has scored 60 runs for the club thus far. 🎤 Announcers are TBD.
