It’s time for this week’s NFL on Fox schedule preview, focusing on the Week #6 singleheader:

🞹 Singleheader: Early Game Only — Bears at Falcons, Saints at Giants, Titans at Colts, Ravens at Browns — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET (12:00 PM CT) on Fox & Fox One:
Following the two hours of pregame programming, Fox will get you out to the game for those scheduled to receive an early singleheader, with kickoff at 1:00 PM ET. Four games are slotted during this window — Bears-Falcons, Saints-Giants, Titans-Colts, & Ravens-Browns.

► Bears (3-2) vs. Falcons (2-3) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Colston Loveland and the Chicago Bears (3-2) participate in NFC non-divisional action against Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons (2-3) on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox and Fox One.

Sunday’s Bears-Falcons game features the lead NFL on Fox commentary team of Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play), seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady (analyst), Erin Andrews (reporter) & Tom Rinaldi (reporter).

The Bears were crushed by the Packers, 31-7, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay last week. Chicago’s quarterback situation was a mess in Week 5: Tyson Bagent, filling in for the injured Caleb Williams, struggled before Case Keenum replaced him late in the game. After back-to-back wins over Philadelphia (Week 3) and the Jets (Week 4), the Bears came crashing back to Earth with an embarrassing road loss to a division rival.

The Falcons’ Sunday night spotlight turned sour, as Atlanta fell 30-23 to Baltimore in overtime at Mercedes-Benz Stadium last week. The Falcons’ three-game homestand continues this week, with a home game against the 49ers coming up in Week 7. Falcons OT Jake Matthews made his 200th start last week, despite being iffy for the game due to a groin injury. Unfortunately, the Falcons were denied their third consecutive win in the primetime window last week.

► Saints (1-4) vs. Giants (3-1-1) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Julian Blackmon and the New Orleans Saints (1-4) travel to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey for this week’s NFC matchup against Deonte Banks and the NFC East-leading New York Giants (3-1-1) on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox and Fox One.

Adam Amin teams up with Hall of Famer Drew Brees and reporter Kristina Pink for Sunday’s NFC matchup between the Saints and the Giants.

The Saints lost 23-13 to the Vikings at home last week at the Caesars Superdome. New Orleans is trying to snap a three-game slide this Sunday in New Jersey. Saints QB Tyler Shough has thrown for at least 250 passing yards and a touchdown in eight of his previous nine games. Saints WR Chris Olave has at least 8 receptions & 100 receiving yards in two of his last three games. Saints S Justin Reid co-led the team with 10 tackles in the Week 5 home loss to Minnesota. Saints EDGE Chase Young recorded a forced fumble & half a sack versus the Vikings last week.

Despite the Giants overcoming a second-half deficit, the Giants ended up tying the Commanders 27-27 last week. Entering Week #6, the Giants are in first place in the NFC East with a 3-1-1 record. Giants QB Jameis Winston threw for 326 yards & 3 TDs with a QB rating of 96.7 in Week 5 against Washington. Giants TE Isaiah Likely co-led the squad with 11 catches & had 121 receiving yards & a touchdown reception in Week 5 versus the Commanders down in Maryland. Giants LB Abdul Carter had a sack & forced fumble in Week 5. Giants CB Dru Phillips finished with five tackles & a season-high two sacks in the tie against the Commanders last week.

► Titans (0-5) vs. Colts (2-3) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Let’s drop into the AFC South for this game, as DeForest Buckner and the Indianapolis Colts (2-3) host Terrell Burgess and the winless Tennessee Titans (0-5) on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox and Fox One.

Chris Myers (play-by-play), Super Bowl champion Jonathan Vilma (analyst) & Jen Hale (field reporter) will call Titans-Colts from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Titans suffered a 26-3 annihilation at the hands of the Houston Texans last week. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THE TITANS OFFENSE? It’s quite clear the Titans’ offense isn’t capable of doing much of anything on the football field, thus contributing to their 0-5 start (one of three winless teams still left in the league). Titans QB Cam Ward started off with a 23-yard pass to WR Calvin Ridley, but Tennessee eventually settled for an opening-drive field goal. Things didn’t get much better from there. In the ensuing five drives, Tennessee acquired just TWO first downs. Houston’s defense made Cam Ward’s life a living hell.

The Colts take the field trying to make up for last week’s 34-22 loss to the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Why did Indianapolis lose last week? Well, it was not because the Colts couldn’t score points. They kicked WAY TOO MANY field goals instead of coming out of drives with touchdowns on the board. Colts K Spencer Shrader hit five goals in this contest. Great for him individually, but Indianapolis certainly isn’t happy because 22 points simply wasn’t enough to take down the Steelers on the road.

► Ravens (4-1) vs. Browns (3-2) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
A Week 6 statement game from the AFC North takes place at Huntington Bank Field as Derrick Henry and the AFC North-leading Baltimore Ravens (4-1) challenge Jared Verse and the Cleveland Browns (3-2) on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox and Fox One.

Kevin Kugler (play-by-play) joins three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl “Moose” Johnston (analyst) & Allison Williams (field reporter) as the broadcast crew for Ravens-Browns.

Last week, thanks to QB Tyler “Snoop” Huntley and RB Derrick Henry, Baltimore was able to overcome a late-game deficit to churn out a 30-23 overtime win over the Falcons on Sunday Night Football, with safety and Atlanta native Kyle Hamilton sealing the win off an interception thrown by Falcons QB Tua Tagovailoa. Henry led the Ravens’ rushing attack last week in Atlanta, picking up 120 yards from scrimmage in the Week 5 Ravens win. Huntley went 24-for-32 for 201 yards & 2 TDs in the Falcons game one week ago.

The Browns return home after last week’s 17-12 loss to the Jets over at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The Browns certainly enter this week’s contest frustrated after mistakes essentially shipwrecked any hope of capturing a Week 5 victory. Browns WR Isaiah Bond had chances to make an impact, but dropped passes that would have helped the Browns’ offense. Browns QB Deshaun Watson didn’t throw for too many yards last week, passing for just over 150 yards vs. the Jets.

🞹 Singleheader: Late Game Only — Cardinals at Rams — Sunday, 4:05 PM ET (1:05 PM PT) on Fox & Fox One:
For those of you getting a late-game only, you will receive an NFC West confrontation as Kendrick Bourne and the Arizona Cardinals battle Puka Nacua and the Los Angeles Rams, with coverage beginning at 4:05 PM ET/1:05 PM PT on Fox & Fox One.

► Cardinals (1-4) vs. Rams (2-3) — Sunday, 4:05 PM ET (1:05 PM PT) on Fox & Fox One:
Kyren Williams and the Los Angeles Rams (2-3) host Baron Browning as two clubs from the NFC West match up in Week 6 on Sunday, October 18 at 4:05 PM ET/1:05 PM PT on Fox and Fox One, with Kenny Albert (play-by-play), three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen (analyst) & Pam Oliver (reporter). The Rams lost a heartbreaker 37-34 to the Bills on Monday night, despite QB Matthew Stafford passing for nearly 400 yards. The Cardinals were crushed 45-21 by the Lions last Sunday, with Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett throwing for 292 yards.

It’s time for this week’s NFL on CBS preview, where we take a look at the games CBS has lined up for Sunday.

🔷 NFL on CBS: Field Pass — Week #6, 2026 | Weekly Schedule Preview | CBS Doubleheader — Sunday, October 18, 2026

✱ Pregame — “The NFL Today presented by Jeep” — Sunday, 12:00 PM ET (9:00 AM PT) on CBS, Paramount+:
On Sunday, make sure you tune in to “The NFL Today presented by Jeep,” a one-hour pregame show previewing the upcoming football action, at 12:00 PM ET/11:00 AM CT, live on CBS and Paramount+.

Veteran host James Brown anchors the program, joined by Hall of Fame head coach Bill Cowher and 11-year NFL veteran Nate Burleson. This season, the program welcomes two new analysts — Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson and former NFL offensive lineman Kyle Long. “The NFL Today” will feature highlights, analysis, feature stories, predictions, interviews, and the latest information from around the league.

This week, the pregame show will travel to Las Vegas ahead of the national doubleheader game between the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders.

✱ Doubleheader, Game 1 — Panthers at Eagles, Steelers at Buccaneers, Jets at Patriots — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET (12:00 PM CT) on CBS, Paramount+:
The CBS doubleheader starts at 1:00 PM ET, with the network regionalizing three matchups in this time slot. Most viewers will get an NFC-NFC matchup from Philadelphia, where the Philadelphia Eagles (2-3) host the Carolina Panthers (2-2). Other early CBS games are Steelers vs. Buccaneers and Jets vs. Patriots.

► Panthers (2-2) vs. Eagles (2-3) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on CBS, Paramount+:
Darius Cooper and the badly wounded Philadelphia Eagles (2-3) try to snap a three-game losing streak as they host 2025 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year Tetairoa McMillan and the Carolina Panthers (2-2) on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 PM ET on CBS and Paramount+. The Panthers rely on starting QB Bryce Young and his 1,268 passing yards. Meanwhile, Philadelphia is reeling following a three-game losing streak, including blowing fourth-quarter leads versus the Rams & Jaguars in the previous two weeks. Unfortunately, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts won’t play this week due to a blood clot in his leg.

Sunday’s Panthers-Eagles game will be televised by CBS, with Ian Eagle (play-by-play), Ross Tucker (analyst) & Evan Washburn (field reporter) on the call.

► Steelers (3-2) vs. Buccaneers (1-4) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on CBS, Paramount+:
Tykee Smith and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-4) play host to T.J. Watt and the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 PM ET on CBS and Paramount+.

The commentary team of Andrew Catalon (play-by-play), two-time Super Bowl champion Logan Ryan (analyst) & AJ Ross (field reporter) will provide commentary for Sunday’s Steelers-Buccaneers game from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

The Steelers handled the Colts, 34-22, last week at home. Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers had a fine performance against Indianapolis last week, going 22-for-31 for 235 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 INT’s. Without three wideouts, Rodgers relied on RB Jaylen Warren, TE Pat Freiermuth (two touchdowns), and rookie Germie Bernard, who caught six passes for 80 yards in the win. Pittsburgh kept pace with the Ravens in the AFC North with last week’s victory over Indianapolis.

The Buccaneers SHOCKED the football world with a 24-16 upset over the Cowboys on Thursday Night Football, finally picking up a win after an abysmal 0-4 start to the 2026 campaign. Undefeated free agent Buccaneers QB Jalon Daniels certainly made the most of his moment in front of a primetime audience, going 19-for-25 for 189 yards, a TD, and picking up 23 rushing yards. Daniels helped a struggling and stagnant Tampa Bay offense finally show signs of at least offensive competency through the first four games of the season. Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving was UNSTOPPABLE last week, going for a career-high 165 rushing yards in Tampa Bay’s Week 5 victory at Dallas.

► Jets (2-3) vs. Patriots (3-2) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on CBS, Paramount+:
Garrett Wilson and the New York Jets (2-3) collide with Christian Elliss and the defending AFC champion New England Patriots (3-2) in this Week 6 AFC East showdown on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 PM ET on CBS and Paramount+.

Sunday’s Jets-Patriots matchup will feature Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta & Aditi Kinkhabwala on the CBS television call.

The Jets claimed a Week 5 home victory over the Browns, 17-12, behind 182 passing yards from QB Geno Smith. The Jets’ hard work and dedication during the game helped them get a win in front of their home fans last week. Resiliency was something that New York definitely had plenty of last week, overcoming 10 penalties (for 102 yards) and four fumbles (two lost). Jets EDGE David Bailey (rookie) stuffed the stat sheet last week, collecting three sacks against the Browns. Jets WR Garrett Wilson and RB Braelon Allen fueled New York’s offense last week, combining for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Patriots QB Drake Maye tossed four touchdown passes as the Patriots easily crushed the Raiders, 45-17, last week at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Following a shaky start following a Super Bowl appearance, it seems that Drake Maye has settled down nicely and turned a corner. Since the second half of the Bills game in Week 4, Maye has accounted for six touchdown passes and zero fumbles. Some early-season narratives can be eradicated quickly, huh? New England goes for their third consecutive win.

✱ Doubleheader, Game 2 — Bills at Raiders, Chargers at Chiefs — Sunday, 4:25 PM ET (3:25 PM CT) on CBS, Paramount+:
At 4:25 PM ET, the CBS doubleheader continues with its national game. Most of the country will see Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills take on Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders. At the same time, select audiences will watch Patrick Mahomes and the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs host Daiyan Henley and the winless Los Angeles Chargers.

► Bills (4-1) vs. Raiders (3-2) — Sunday, 4:25 PM ET (1:25 PM PT) on CBS, Paramount+:
Dorian Williams and the AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills continue their two-game West Coast road swing out in Vegas, where Nakobe Dean and the Las Vegas Raiders (3-2), entering on a two-game losing streak, await on Sunday, October 18 at 4:25 PM ET/1:25 PM PT on CBS and Paramount+. The Bills clipped the Rams, 37-34, in a thrilling Monday Night Football game last week, going 4-1 on the season. The Raiders, meanwhile, were crushed 45-17 by the Patriots last week, thus dropping Las Vegas to 3-2 following a 3-0 start to the campaign.

Bills-Raiders will be called by the lead NFL on CBS team of Jim Nantz (play-by-play), three-time Defensive Player of the Year winner J.J. Watt (analyst) & Tracy Wolfson (sideline reporter).

► Chargers (0-5) vs. Chiefs (4-0) — Sunday, 4:25 PM ET (3:25 PM CT) on CBS, Paramount+:
AFC West rivals collide in Week 6 as nine-time Pro Bowler Khalil Mack leads the visiting Los Angeles Chargers (0-5) into Arrowhead Stadium to face Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III and the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) on Sunday, October 18 at 4:25 PM ET/3:25 PM CT on CBS and Paramount+.

Kevin Harlan (play-by-play), two-time Pro Bowler Trent Green (analyst) & Melanie Collins (reporter) announce the action, starting at 4:25 PM ET on CBS and Paramount+.

The Chargers were defeated 23-17 by the Broncos at home last week. L.A.’s cold spell continues, as the team has now dropped eight consecutive games, dating back to the 2025 campaign. Chargers QB Justin Herbert was working alongside plenty of backups last week during his 100th NFL start. Herbert’s offensive line had four rookies on it — Rookie C Jake Slaughter (No. 63 overall pick in 2026), LT Travis Burke, LG Logan Taylor & RT Alex Harkey. Plus, the top two WR’s for the Chargers weren’t involved in the action — Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey. Herbert went 14-for-24 for 121 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, and 2 fumbles (one lost) against the Broncos last week. This is the last game for Los Angeles before their Week 7 bye.

The Chiefs are well-rested following a Week 5 bye. In the game before the open week, the Chiefs narrowly defeated the Raiders 30-27 over at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Remember how poor Kansas City was in one-score games last year? This year, Kansas City is flipping that script, as the team has regained its ability to win tight matchups. RB Kenneth Walker III’s impressive 76-yard scamper in the third quarter swung momentum in Kansas City’s direction. The big plays helped the Chiefs escape Sin City with a nice dub before the bye week.

⏵ 2026 WNBA Finals (Atlanta Dream vs. Golden State Valkyries) | Television Schedule & Commentators

The official graphic/logo for the 2026 WNBA Finals — Atlanta Dream vs. Golden State Valkyries. (The Sporting News)

| ⏵ Tuesday, October 13, 2026 (Press Release):

🞷 Highlights:
  • The 2026 WNBA Finals feature a first-time matchup as the Atlanta Dream face the Golden State Valkyries to determine the WNBA champion for the 2026 season.
  • Both Atlanta and Golden State are seeking their first-ever WNBA championship.
  • The best-of-seven series begins on Saturday, October 17, at 3:30 PM ET/12:30 PM PT on NBC and Peacock, with the series opening in San Francisco.
  • NBC/Peacock (Games 1-4) and USA Network (all other games) combine for television coverage throughout the WNBA’s championship round.
  • Former Elon University basketball player Zora Stephenson (play-by-play), former DePaul University basketball player Sarah Kustok (analyst) & Ashley ShahAhmadi (courtside reporter) to announce the action throughout the series.

Well, here we are, folks! The historic 30th WNBA season comes down to a best-of-seven championship round featuring two teams hungry for their first-ever WNBA championship. In this year’s WNBA Finals, we have Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream — in their first WNBA Finals since 2013 and their fourth overall — against Gabby Williams and the Golden State Valkyries, who are making their first-ever WNBA Finals appearance in just their second season!

This article will get us ready for the action set to unfold in the WNBA Finals, which begins this weekend (Saturday, October 17) on NBC and Peacock. For the second straight season, the WNBA Finals will be a best-of-seven series, meaning that the winning team must win four out of seven games to be declared champions. We will talk about some key storylines heading into the Finals, plus give you the series summary and daily television schedule throughout the WNBA Finals. Congratulations to Atlanta and Golden State for making it this far, and good luck, ladies!

Series Preview:
Obviously, this series features plenty of new faces as Atlanta and Golden State clash in the WNBA Finals for the very first time. Atlanta swept New York in their semifinal series, while Golden State dispatched Las Vegas, the reigning WNBA champion, in a semifinal sweep. Thus, we have No. 2 Golden State facing off with No. 4 Atlanta in the 2026 WNBA Finals.

The Dream are on a heater 🔥, winners of ten consecutive games entering this year’s WNBA Finals. Atlanta appears in the championship series for the fourth time in franchise history, having been swept in each of three previous appearances — 2010 vs. the Seattle Storm, 2011 & 2013 vs. the Minnesota Lynx. The Dream is led by the fantastic Angel Reese, alongside floor general co-star Jordin Canada.

As for Golden State, the Valkyries continue to set the standard for expansion franchises. The Valkyries reached the WNBA Finals in just their second season after joining the league as an expansion club in 2025. Golden State was swept by Minnesota in the first round. This year, Golden State made a special run to the championship round, following playoff victories over the Dallas Wings and the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces. The Valkyries are led by WNBA All-Star Gabby Williams and three-time WNBA champion Kiah Stokes.

In my opinion, this should be an interesting series.

Broadcast Information:
The 2026 WNBA Finals will be split between NBC/Peacock (Games 1 & 4) and USA Network (Games 2-3 & 5-7, if necessary). For games televised by NBC and Peacock, Zora Stephenson, Sarah Kustok & Ashley ShahAhmadi serve as the broadcast team. USA Sports’ WNBA Finals broadcast team consists of Kate Scott (play-by-play), Tamika Catchings (analyst), Sarah Kustok (analyst), Amy Audibert (analyst) & Meghan McPeak (courtside reporter).

Additionally, NBC/Peacock will provide on-site studio coverage with Maria Taylor hosting alongside Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Sue Bird and Cheryl Miller. USA Network will also send a studio team out to San Francisco & Atlanta for live studio coverage, as host Elle Duncan and two-time WNBA champion Renee Montgomery handle pregame, halftime, and postgame shows from the game site, with Paris Lawson and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Teresa Weatherspoon & Chamique Holdsclaw contributing from the studio.

More details about USA Sports’ WNBA Finals broadcast plans will be announced soon.
