🔷 NFL on Fox: Field Pass — Week #9, 2026 | Weekly Schedule Preview | Fox Doubleheader — Sunday, November 8, 2026:
⤳ NOTE: Fox NFL Sunday will expand to two hours this week due to their annual Veterans Day show, meaning that Fox NFL Kickoff will once again not be seen.
🞹 Pregame | “Fox NFL Sunday presented by GMC” (two hours) | Sunday, 11:00 AM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Pregame coverage begins with a special two-hour edition of Fox NFL Sunday, beginning at 11:00 AM ET. This week, Fox NFL Sunday will hold its annual Veterans Day program, airing live from West Point and the historic United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Fox will combine its Fox NFL Kickoff and Fox NFL Sunday teams for this special show, with Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Rob Gronkowski, Jay Glazer, Charissa Thompson, Charles Woodson, and Julian Edelman sharing hosting duties.
🞹 Fox Doubleheader — Game #1 (Early Games) | Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Following the two-hour Fox NFL Sunday, the Week 9 doubleheader begins with early-game action at 1:00 PM ET on Fox and Fox One. Three games are scheduled for the early window. Most of the country will watch Josh Downs and the Indianapolis Colts host Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. Plus, other 1:00 PM ET Fox games include Giants-Eagles and Rams-Commanders.
► Cowboys (3-5) vs. Colts (2-6) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Four-time NFL Pro Bowler Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys (3-5) visit two-time NFL Pro Bowler Sauce Gardner and the Indianapolis Colts (2-6) for an NFL Week #9 matchup on Sunday, November 8 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox and Fox One. The Cowboys come off an unacceptable 33-30 overtime loss to the Cardinals last week. The Colts try to snap a four-game losing streak in this game, following a 42-7 butt-kicking at the hands of AFC South rival Jaguars last week.
Fox has assigned the commentary team of Adam Amin (play-by-play), Hall of Famer Drew Brees (analyst) & Kristina Pink (reporter) to Sunday’s Cowboys-Colts game.
The Cowboys come into this game looking to get the taste of last week’s colossal meltdown out of their mouths, blowing a 14-point lead against one of the worst teams in the NFL. If Dallas continues to stink and play poorly, several significant changes could be forthcoming, including the potential future of Cowboys defensive coordinator Christian Parker. The Cowboys defense has been awful basically all season long, giving way too many big plays.
The Colts seem to have packed it in for this year. For example, they traded offensive lineman Quenton Nelson (to the Seahawks) and defensive end DeForest Buckner (to the 49ers) in recent weeks, and more potential alterations could be realized very soon. Colts RB Jonathan Taylor was limited to just 23 yards in last week’s demolition down in Jacksonville. Sadly, the Colts are about to be torn down to the studs. Colts HC Shane Steichen and his staff could be out a job sooner rather than later.
► Giants (4-2-1) vs. Eagles (2-6) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Jordan Davis and the slumping Philadelphia Eagles (2-6) host Isaiah Likely and the visiting New York Giants (4-2-1) in Week #9 NFC East action from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sunday, November 8 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox and Fox One. The Giants start off Week 9 in first place in the NFC East, while Philadelphia is reeling after six consecutive losses after a 2-0 start (which feels so long ago).
Joe Davis (play-by-play) and three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen (analyst) team up in the booth, while Pam Oliver (reporter) handles the sidelines during the broadcast.
► Rams (4-4) vs. Commanders (2-4-1) — Sunday, 1:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Puka Nacua and the Los Angeles Rams (4-4), the preseason Super Bowl favorite, head to Northwest Stadium to play 2024 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders (2-4-1) on Sunday, November 8 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox and Fox One. The Rams handled business against the Chargers last week, 24-9. Washington picked up a win against the Eagles last week, scoring 27 unanswered points to defeat their NFC East rival.
Veteran play-by-play commentator Chris Myers teams up with analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth for Rams-Commanders, joined by sideline reporter Jennifer “Jen” Hale.
The Rams have started to turn things around after a worrisome 2-4 start. Back-to-back wins over the Raiders (35-21) and Chargers (24-9) have reestablished them as a contender. Can L.A. grab their third straight win in this NFC matchup? If the Rams can defeat the Commanders and Cardinals in the next two weeks, they should be in good shape down the stretch.
It has been a rough season in Washington. The Commanders start Week #9 with a disappointing 2-4-1 record. Despite that, they are only two games behind the Giants for first place in the NFC East. If Washington can find some momentum entering the second half of the year, the Commanders could challenge for a playoff spot. But the Commanders MUST produce a hot streak to even think about postseason contention.
🞹 Fox Doubleheader — Game #2 (Late Games; America’s Game of the Week) | Sunday, 4:25 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
The doubleheader continues at 4:25 PM ET on Fox and Fox One with America’s Game of the Week. The Packers compete against the Patriots in the game that many of you will see. Also, Jeremy Chinn and the Las Vegas Raiders face Dre Greenlaw and the San Francisco 49ers. Plus, a Cardinals-Seahawks battle from the NFC West.
► Packers (5-3) vs. Patriots (5-3) — Sunday, 4:25 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Matthew Golden and the Green Bay Packers (5-3) challenge Kyle Williams and the New England Patriots (5-3) in a Week #9 NFL game at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, November 8 at 4:25 PM ET on Fox and Fox One. The Packers defeated the Panthers 27-19 last week on Thursday Night Football. The Patriots came from behind to defeat the Dolphins 24-19 in Week #8, improving to 5-3.
Fox’s NFL lead crew of Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play), Patriots legend Tom Brady (analyst) [in his return to New England], Erin Andrews (sideline reporter), & Tom Rinaldi (sideline reporter) are on the mic for this matchup.
► Raiders (4-4) vs. 49ers (6-1) — Sunday, 4:25 PM ET/1:25 PM PT on Fox & Fox One:
Two former teams involved in “The Battle of the Bay” share the field at Levi’s Stadium this weekend as Ashton Jeanty and the Las Vegas Raiders (4-4) match up with four-time Pro Bowler Fred Warner and the host San Francisco 49ers (6-1) on Sunday, November 8 at 4:25 PM ET/1:25 PM PT on Fox and Fox One. The Raiders got back on track last week, defeating the Jets 38-33 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The 49ers are back in action following their bye last week, in the aftermath of a 29-20 loss to the Falcons back in Week #7.
Kevin Kugler (play-by-play), three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl “Moose” Johnston (analyst) & Allison Williams (reporter) serve as the broadcast team for Sunday’s Raiders-49ers contest.
Raiders QB Kirk Cousins helped his team finally return to the win column after several frustrating results in recent weeks, going 19-for-26 for 247 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 INTs. The veteran QB needs to remain the focal point of the offense if Las Vegas plans to go on another winning streak toward the midway point of this season. Las Vegas is set to be tested, though, as they have the 49ers, Seahawks, Broncos, and Browns on their schedule before their bye week in December.
San Francisco desperately needed their bye week last week due to the mounting injuries. Now, the 49ers resume their 2026 season against the Raiders, coming off last week’s win over the Jets. 49ers QB Brock Purdy went 27-for-40 for 288 yards and a touchdown against the Falcons two weeks ago. San Francisco stuffed the run game, holding the Falcons to just 82 rushing yards in their Week 7 meeting.
► Cardinals (3-5) vs. Seahawks (4-4) — Sunday, 4:25 PM ET/1:25 PM PT on Fox & Fox One:
Budda Baker and the Arizona Cardinals (3-5) tangle with veteran LB DeMarcus Lawrence and the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks (4-4) in this Week #9 NFC East matchup on Sunday, November 8 at 4:25 PM ET/1:25 PM PT on Fox and Fox One. The Cardinals are coming off a SHOCKING overtime win over the Cowboys last week, 33-30. The Seahawks are in a tailspin, having lost three of the last four games (49ers in Week 5, Broncos in Week 6 & Bears in Week 8).
Fox will have Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Super Bowl champion Jonathan Vilma (analyst) & Megan Olivi (reporter) on the call for Sunday’s Cardinals-Seahawks NFC West showdown.
HOW ABOUT THOSE CARDINALS, FOLKS? It seemed like Arizona was heading for another surefire loss last week in Dallas. However, Cardinals HC Mike LaFleur decided to switch at QB, replacing Jacoby Brissett with Gardner Minshew. Clearly, that turned out to be the correct decision. Minshew went 17-for-23 (73.9%) for 188 yards, threw three touchdown passes and zero interceptions once inserted into the game. Plus, Arizona relied on its ground attack, with one-time Falcon Tyler Allgeier rushing for 147 yards on 11 carries, averaging a splendid 13.36 yards per carry. The Cardinals could use last week’s win as a foundation for a potential second-half playoff push.
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THE CHAMPS, MAN? The Seahawks have struggled to keep up with their competition over the past few weeks, as Seattle has won just once in their last four games. While the defense has been fine for the most part, the offense is struggling, and Sam Darnold and company can’t get on the same page at the moment. Also, reigning AP Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba is basically their only source of offense. The returns of RBs Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price (rookie) to the lineup on Monday night didn’t yield the results that the Seahawks were looking for, with Charbonnet recording just 23 yards, while Price only picked up 29 yards.
