The Florida Panthers try to become the first team since the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2021 to win back-to-back Stanley Cups.

The Oilers overcame a 2-0 series deficit to take down the Los Angeles Kings in the first round (4-2), moved past the Vegas Golden Knights in five games in the Western Conference Semifinal, and then bested the Dallas Stars in a gentleman's sweep (4-1) in the Western Conference Final.

The Panthers are back in the Stanley Cup Final for the third straight year (becoming the first NHL franchise to do that since the Tampa Bay Lightning from 2020-22). Florida conquered the Tampa Bay Lightning in five games during the first round, defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs in a epic seven-game Eastern Conference Semifinal, and then eliminated the Carolina Hurricanes in five games in the Eastern Conference Final.

Monday, May 19, 2025

This week's MLB on Fox: On Deck highlights include:

  • It's getting hot🔥 in here!: As most Americans fire up the grill for the first time in 2025 to mark Memorial Day Weekend, FOX Sports serves up a doubleheader of MLB action during Memorial Day Weekend - Saturday, May 24 on Fox and FS1.
  • A couple of playoff re-matches: During "Baseball Night in America" on Fox this week (Saturday, 7:00 PM ET, Fox), we have a pair of 2024 MLB Postseason re-matches: Dodgers vs. Mets (NLCS re-match) & Guardians vs. Tigers (ALDS re-match).
  • Inside the AL East for Orioles-Red Sox on FS1: FS1 presents a American League East rivalry on Saturday, May 24 at 1:30 PM (ET) as Rafael Devers and the Boston Red Sox host Cedric Mullins and the Baltimore Orioles.
  • For the first time since October, Dodgers & Mets clash at Citi Field in 2024 NLCS Re-Match: Mookie Betts and the Los Angeles Dodgers compete against Francisco Lindor in a marquee showdown featuring last year's last two surviving teams in the National League - Saturday, May 24 at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox.
  • Guardians, Tigers engage in ALDS re-match from Motown: José Ramírez and the Cleveland Guardians tussle with Javier Báez and the Detroit Tigers as the two clubs that met in last October's Division Series do battle one more time - Saturday, May 24 at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox.

Memorial Day Weekend is almost upon us, and "Fox Saturday Baseball" has some spicy 🌶 matchups to hopefully make baseball fans buzzing on Saturday, May 24. Fox Sports will have an MLB doubleheader on Saturday, with an FS1 game at 4:00 PM (ET) followed by "Baseball Night in America" at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox. More information in the following paragraphs, so keep it locked to this article!

FS1 kicks off this week’s Saturday lineup with an afternoon game at 1:30 PM (ET) (this game was originally scheduled for 4:00 PM ET, but moved up a few hours later in an attempt to squeeze in a Saturday doubleheader). The Baltimore Orioles, led by Jackson Holliday, will visit Fenway Park to face Jarren Duran and the Boston Red Sox in an AL East matchup. The Orioles have had a rough start to 2025, sitting in last place in the AL East, and their manager, Brandon Hyde, was fired on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Red Sox are in the midst of a three-series homestand at Fenway Park, with Baltimore being their final opponent after facing the Braves and Mets. The Red Sox are seeking to gain momentum, as they have lost six of their last ten games leading up to play on Monday, May 19. 🎙 Play-by-play announcer Kevin Kugler and analyst Eric Karros will call Orioles-Red Sox for FS1 off-monitor.

Once the Orioles-Red Sox game ends, please head over to Fox for "Baseball Night in America," beginning at 7:00 PM (ET). Most of the country will watch the Dodgers vs. Mets game, while select markets will receive the Guardians vs. Tigers game instead. Read on for previews of each matchup.

A 2024 National League Championship Series re-match takes over "Baseball Night in America" as Freddie Freeman and the reigning World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers takes on Juan Soto and the New York Mets on Saturday, May 24 at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox. These two clubs are meeting for the first time since last October's NLCS, a series in which Los Angeles won in six games en route to the team's most recent World Series championship. Both teams start this week in first place their respective divisions (NL West & NL West, respectively). 🎙 Sports Emmy winning play-by-play announcer Joe Davis (play-by-play), 2005 World Series champion AJ Pierzynski (analyst) & Sports Emmy winning reporter Ken Rosenthal (reporter) call Dodgers-Mets from Citi Field in Queens, New York.

Two teams that share recent postseason history renew their rivalry under the bright lights on "Baseball Night in America" as Carlos Santana and the Cleveland Guardians engage in an American League Central rivalry game against Gleyber Torres and the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, May 24 at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox. Last season, the Guardians bested the Tigers in an exciting five-game ALDS series. And now, the Tigers are seeking some revenge on their hated AL Central rival. When play opens up this week, the Tigers are the only club above 30 wins, so they are off to an excellent start this season. 🎙 Jason Benetti (play-by-play) & Tom Verducci (analyst) call Guardians-Tigers from Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan.
