Current "FOX College Football" logo.
  • FOX's 2022 CFB schedule includes Alabama vs. Texas, Oklahoma vs. Nebraska, Michigan vs. Ohio State, and much more
  • The "BIG NOON KICKOFF" pregame show will travel each week of 2022 season
  • "BIG NOON SATURDAY" remains FOX's featured CFB timeslot
FOX Sports recently announced their initial selection of games for the upcoming 2022 college football season. These games include matchups from the Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, and Mountain West.

For the first time in the show's history, BIG NOON KICKOFF, FOX's official college football pregame show, has plans to travel to a college campus for a two-hour pregame show before FOX's CFB slate each week of the regular season.

FOX Takes a Major Swing For The Fences to Start the New Year:
In Week #1, Penn State will match up with Purdue on Thursday, September 1 at 8:00 PM ET on FOX. The BIG NOON KICKOFF and BIG NOON SATURDAY crews will travel on-site to the home of the Purdue Boilermakers in West Lafayette, Indiana, with pregame coverage beginning at 7:00 PM ET.

The month of September also provides college football fans with a marquee, highly anticipated matchup. On Saturday, September 10, at 12:00 PM ET on FOX, Alabama will visit Texas in Alabama's first-ever FOX game. Needless to say, the BIG NOON KICKOFF crew will be in Austin, Texas to provide pregame coverage, starting at 10:00 AM ET. This will mark the first meeting between Alabama's HC Nick Saban and Texas' HC Steve Sarkisian since Sarkisian left Alabama to coach Texas.

In Week 3, on Saturday, September 17, Oklahoma faces off with Nebraska from Lincoln, Nebraska at 12:00 PM ET. The BIG NOON KICKOFF team will come on the air from Lincoln, Nebraska at 10:00 AM ET to set the table for Week 3 in college football. Last year, the Cornhuskers gave the Sooners a scare in Norman on BIG NOON SATURDAY, the 50th anniversary of 1971's "Game of the Century". This Oklahoma-Nebraska will mark the advent of a special, but rare, FOX quadruple header of college football action.

Thanksgiving Weekend on FOX:
The regular season CFB coverage on FOX wraps up on Thanksgiving weekend. The featured matchup for this week, as always, will be Michigan vs. Ohio State on Saturday, November 26 at 12:00 PM ET on FOX. "The Game" is just one of many premier sporting events that FOX will have the rights to during this major Thanksgiving weekend of sports coverage.

FOX's stacked Thanksgiving weekend lineup includes the New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, at 4:30 PM ET on FOX, a FIFA World Cup group stage match between England and USA plus a Pac-12 college football game with UCLA and California on Friday, November 25 (4:30 PM ET), and the big Los Angeles Rams at Kansas City Chiefs America's Game of the Week game on Sunday, November 27 at 4:25 PM ET on FOX.

Championship Weekend on FOX:
FOX will serve as the television home for three conference championship contests this season.

On Friday, December 2, at 8:00 PM ET, FOX will televise the Pac-12 Championship Game from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Then on Saturday, December 3, FOX will exclusively televise two more conference championship contests. First up, at 4:00 PM ET, the Mountain West Championship will be staged. Later that night, at 8:00 PM ET, Lucas Oil Stadium serves as the backdrop for FOX's Big Ten Championship Game presentation.

Additional 2022 CFB on FOX/FS1 Schedule Highlights:

The day ends with the Mississippi State at Arizona game at 11:00 PM ET on FS1, with Mississippi State's HC Mike Leach set to battle a Pac-12 opponent for the first time since leaving Washington State.
  • On Saturday, September 17, a rare FOX quadruple header: Oklahoma-Nebraska (12:00 PM, ET), BYU-Oregon (3:30 PM ET), Toledo-Ohio State (7:00 PM, ET), Fresno State-USC (10:30 PM, ET).
  • On Black Friday, Friday, November 25, in addition to FOX's robust lineup of sports offerings that weekend, Arizona State takes on Arizona at 3:00 PM ET on FS1. The night will finish with Wyoming at Fresno State at 10:00 PM ET on FS1.

The final portion from the 2022 NBA Playoffs are now days away from finally getting underway. The 2022 NBA Finals will be exclusively televised on the ABC broadcast network.

ABC will be the home for the NBA Finals game coverage for the 20th straight season, dating back to the Nets-Spurs NBA Finals series in 2003.

ESPN's lead commentary team of Mike Breen (play-by-play), Jeff Van Gundy (analyst), Mark Jackson (analyst), & Lisa Salters (sideline reporter) will be on hand in San Francisco and Boston to work each and every game of the 2022 NBA Finals. Lisa Salters returns to the sidelines as the NBA Finals sideline reporter, after previously holding that duty for the Mavericks-Heat series back in 2006.

NBA Countdown, ABC's official pregame show of record, will air 30 minutes before each and every game of the Finals. The studio team of host Mike Greenberg, analysts Jalen Rose, Stephen A. Smith and Michael Wilbon will work their first NBA Finals together. Insider Adrian Wojnarowski will contribute when needed.
