Brown and DeVonta Smith (PHI) combined for over 300 yards receiving and three scores in a Week 7 win over the Vikings.

Josh Allen and the stumbling Buffalo Bills (4-2) visit Rico Dowdle and the red-hot Carolina Panthers (4-3) on Sunday, October 26, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, with Adam Amin joining three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen and Pam Oliver for the broadcast. The Bills return to the field following their bye week. In Buffalo's last game, they fell 24-14 to the Falcons on "Monday Night Football". Carolina, on the other hand, is feeling great after last week's 13-6 win on the road vs. the Jets. With a victory on Sunday, Bills QB Josh Allen can pass Hall of Fame quarterbacks Peyton Manning (80) and Ben Roethlisberger (80) for the fourth-most regular-season wins by a quarterback in his first eight seasons in NFL history. Bills (and former Panthers) LB Shaq Thompson led the team with 10 tackles vs. the Falcons in Week 6. Carolina, since Week 16 last season, has won four straight games at Bank of America Stadium. Browns QB Dillon Gabriel (rookie) is the sixth quarterback in the Super Bowl era with at least 100 pass attempts and no interceptions over his first three starts, joining Tom Brady, Case Keenum, Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Moon, C.J. Despite a season filled with crippling injuries and loads of adversity, the 49ers handled the Falcons 20-10 last week on "Sunday Night Football". Houston is facing a short week and tons of questions after a 27-19 loss to the Seahawks on 'Monday Night Football" last week. 49ers star RB Christian McCaffrey racked up more than 200 yards from scrimmage and scored twice as San Francisco took down Atlanta 20-10 on October 19. 49ers S Ji'Ayir Brown had a season-high 5 tackles in Week 7. The Buccaneers have won five of their last six games against the Saints. Buccaneers WR Mike Evans will be sidelined indefinitely after breaking his clavicle during Tampa Bay's 24-9 loss to Detroit in Week 7. 2025 World Series presented by Capital One: Television Schedule & Commentators

A picture showing the two clubs competing in the 2025 World Series presented by Capital One - the Toronto Blue Jays and the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers. (📸 Photo courtesy of X)

| 🞙 Tuesday, October 21, 2025

Highlights for the 2025 World Series presented by Capital One include:
  • The 121st World Series features the American League champion Toronto Blue Jays taking on the National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
  • Fox exclusively televises the World Series for the 26th consecutive season.
  • First-ever postseason meeting between the Dodgers & Blue Jays! (DUH!)
  • Stars in this year's Fall Classic include Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Shohei Ohtani, George Springer, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and more.
  • Joe Davis & the Hall of Famer John Smoltz call the World Series for the fourth consecutive year, joined by reporters Ken Rosenthal & Tom Verducci.
  • The Blue Jays aim to win their first World Series title since 1993, while the Dodgers seek to become the first MLB club in 25 years to repeat as World Series champions.

We are ready for the 2025 World Series presented by Capital One! In this year's championship series, we will have Mookie Betts and the National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers battling Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the American League champion Toronto Blue Jays to decide this year's MLB champion.

While Toronto has not been in the World Series in over three decades (since their consecutive runs in the early 1990s), the Dodgers are trying to become the first team to go back-to-back since the Yankees won three straight World Series titles between 1998 and 2000.

This Fall Classic highlights the contrasting expectations between the two teams vying for the Commissioner's Trophy. The Blue Jays completed a remarkable turnaround, going from last place in the AL East in 2024 to a World Series berth in 2025. In the case of Los Angeles, high standards are consistently maintained, given their team history and market size. The Dodgers enter their fifth World Series appearance since the 2017 season (more than any other National League franchise during this period).

The Rogers Centre will continue to resonate with excitement following the much-anticipated Toronto victory in Game 7 of the ALCS on Monday night (thanks to George Springer's heroics).

Meanwhile, the Dodgers will recount the remarkable event when P/DH Shohei Ohtani achieved the extraordinary feat of hitting three home runs and delivering six shutout innings with ten strikeouts, marking a historic conclusion to their impressive sweep of the Brewers in the National League Championship Series.

All games of the 2025 World Series presented by Capital One will start at 8:00 PM (ET) on Fox, with a one-hour pregame show preceding each game at 7:00 PM (ET). 🎙 In the broadcast booth, play-by-play announcer Joe Davis teams up with first-ballot Hall of Famer John Smoltz to describe the action in the Blue Jays vs. Dodgers World Series. Davis & Smoltz call the World Series for the fourth consecutive year. Additionally, Davis & Smoltz will be joined by dugout reporters Ken Rosenthal & Tom Verducci for additional insight and perspective throughout the series.

Plus, Fox will send their recognizable studio team on the road for pregame and postgame coverage during the World Series. Rogers Centre will be the site for the Blue Jays' home games in the World Series. Dodger Stadium will be the site for the Dodgers' home games in the World Series. Host Kevin Burkhardt is joined by Hall of Famers Derek Jeter and David Ortiz, plus World Series champion Alex Rodriguez.

This is the final round of MLB's 2025 Postseason. For additional information about the previous rounds of the playoffs, please check out the series of links that I have posted below.

A complete overview of the 2025 World Series is available below, including the series schedule and daily TV schedule to guide you through MLB's championship series.
