2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs Continues with Stanley Cup Semifinals on NBCSN & USA Network

A trip to the 2021 Stanley Cup Finals on the line

With the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs halfway completed, it's time to move on to the third round. This year, due to the NHL's realignment brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, this round will be referred to as the Stanley Cup Semifinals. Two best-of-seven series will be contested to determine the two teams that will meet in this year's Stanley Cup Finals.

Congrats to the Montreal Canadiens, Vegas Golden Knights, Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Islanders for making it this far into the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Lightning vs. Islanders semifinal series will begin first on Sunday, Jun. 13. Game 1 of Tampa Bay vs. NY Islanders is set for 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT on the NBC broadcast network. This year's postseason matchup will mark the fourth one and the second straight between the teams. Tampa Bay has won ALL three of the previous matchups with the Islanders.

The Canadiens vs. Golden Knights semifinal series will begin the following evening, Monday, Jun. 14, at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT, over on NBCSN. The Golden Knights and the Canadiens will meet in the playoffs for the very first time.

2021 NBA Playoffs: Conference Semifinal TV Schedule and Announcers

The 2021 NBA Playoffs continues on with the Conference Semifinal round on the networks of TNT, ESPN and ABC. Best of luck to the eight remaining teams still in contention to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

The conference semifinal round opens up on Saturday, June 5th as Giannis Antetokoumnpo and the Milwaukee Bucks face Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets in a highly anticipated #2 vs. #3 matchup in the East, at 7:30 PM (ET) on TNT. Marv Albert, Grant Hill and Jared Greenberg will be on-site in Brooklyn to call the game.

The following day, Sunday, June 6th, the other Eastern Conference semifinal gets underway. At 1:00 PM (ET) on ABC, Trae Young and the No. 5 seeded Atlanta Hawks visit Ben Simmons and top seeded Philadelphia 76ers. Mark Jones, Hubie Brown and Lisa Salters will take the ABC call from Wells Fargo Center.

Then, on Monday, June 7th, Michael Porter Jr. and the Denver Nuggets open their second round series against Chris Paul and the surprising Phoenix Suns, who knocked out the top seeded Lakers in the previous round. Denver at Phoenix Game 1 is Monday night at 10:00 PM (ET), live on TNT. TNT will have Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller & Chris Haynes work the Denver-Phoenix series.

The last Conference Semifinal series to tip off is the series between Kawhi Leonard and the LA Clippers vs. Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz. Game 1 is set for Tuesday, June 8th at 10:00 PM (ET), again live on TNT. Ian Eagle will have the call with analyst Greg Anthony and reporter Rebecca Haarlow.

ESPN/ABC and TNT plans to have all announcers on-site, beginning in this round. For Round 1, TNT had only one on-site game, Hawks vs. Knicks game 5, with Marv Albert & Reggie Miller. Meanwhile, for ESPN/ABC, the ABC games featuring the Mike Breen and Mark Jones' crews were on-site, while ALL ESPN games were done remotely. All of that changes with this round.
