Hello there, friends! Welcome to the Week #3 edition of NFL on Fox: Field Pass! For this week's article, we will go through the doubleheader that the NFL on Fox will be showing this Sunday, September 21. I will provide you with the necessary preparation for Fox's Sunday lineup by sharing the broadcast schedule, offering a game preview for each matchup, and supplying a distribution list that indicates which games Fox will be airing in your local area.

Once again, the NFL on Fox is the place to be as Fox presents a doubleheader on the network for the second Sunday in a row. In Week #3, Fox has seven games on the docket, as they are set to carry a boatload of NFL action. The doubleheader will commence at 1:00 PM ET, featuring a rematch in the NFC Divisional Playoff between the Rams and the Eagles. Additionally, the matchups will include the Jets facing off against the Buccaneers, the Packers competing against the Browns, the Raiders going up against the Commanders, and the Falcons squaring off with the Panthers. Later, "America's Game of the Week" highlights a pivotal early-season NFC conference game as CeeDee Lamb and the Dallas Cowboys take on D'Andre Swift and the Chicago Bears, or Kyler Murray and the undefeated Arizona Cardinals meet Deommodore Lenoir and the undefeated San Francisco 49ers, with both games kicking off at 4:25 PM ET.

Before a full day of football on Fox, the network gets you prepared with two live hours of pregame programming. "Fox NFL Kickoff presented by Little Caesars" gets the ball rolling at 11:00 AM ET, followed by "Fox NFL Sunday presented by GMC" at 12:00 PM ET. Which doubleheader games will your local Fox station receive, and who is calling the action this Sunday? Continue going through this article to find out the answer to both parts of the question that I posed.

The jam-packed Week #3 Fox schedule begins with "Fox NFL Kickoff presented by Little Caesars" at 11:00 AM ET. The show gives viewers the first look at the upcoming day's slate of NFL action. Plus, the show will feature analysis from the studio team and interviews with key personnel from around the National Football League world. Charissa Thompson hosts the show alongside three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman and Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson.

The pregame programming continues at 12:00 PM ET with "Fox NFL Sunday presented by GMC". Veteran broadcaster Curt Menefee hosts alongside Pro Football Hall of Famer and four-time Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw. Accompanying them on the desk are Pro Football Hall of Famers Michael Strahan and Howie Long, with four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski. NFL on Fox insider Jay Glazer also joins the "Fox NFL Sunday" crew, delivering exclusive insights and breaking news from around the league. The show features analysis, opinion, interviews, breaking news, and predictions.

Jordan Mailata and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) continue their rematch tour by hosting Davante Adams and the Los Angeles Rams (2-0) on Sunday, September 21, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. Philadelphia beat Los Angeles 28-22 in the 2024 NFC Divisional Playoffs. The Eagles come off a 20-17 victory over the Chiefs, who they defeated 40-22 in Super Bowl 59. 🎤 Sunday's Rams at Eagles game will be televised by Fox, as Joe Davis (play-by-play), three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen (analyst), & Pam Oliver (reporter) provide commentary.

Garrett Wilson and the winless New York Jets (0-2) try to get into the win column for the first time in 2025 against Baker Mayfield and the undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0) on Sunday, September 21, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. The Buccaneers are coming off an exciting 20-19 win over the Texans last week, where Tampa Bay scored the game-winning touchdown with under 10 seconds to go. The Jets got embarrassed last week at MetLife Stadium, getting routed 30-10 by the visiting Bills. Jets WR Garrett Wilson extended his streak of games with at least one catch to 53 with four receptions vs. the Bills last week. Tampa Bay, which started 2-0 for the fifth straight year, looks to win its first three games of a season for the first time since the 2005 season. The Buccaneers are the first team since the 1970 merger to score a game-winning touchdown in the final minute of each of their first two games of the season. 🎤 Sunday's Jets at Buccaneers matchup can be seen on Fox regionally, with veteran play-by-play commentator Kenny Albert joined by analyst and Super Bowl champion Jonathan Vilma and reporter Megan Olivi for the broadcast call.

Jordan Love, Micah Parsons, and the undefeated Green Bay Packers (2-0) are on the road for the first time in 2025, facing Denzel Ward and the winless Cleveland Browns (0-2) on Sunday, September 21, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. Last Thursday night, the Packers beat the visiting Commanders 27-18 to improve to 2-0. In Week #2, the Browns were trounced by the Ravens 41-17. The Packers can start 3-0 for the third time since head coach Matt LaFleur was hired in 2019 (2019, 2020). Packers RB Josh Jacobs has a rushing touchdown in 11 straight games (including postseason) since Week 11 of the 2024 season. Browns DE Myles Garrett is one of two players (Carl Granderson) with at least 1.5 sacks in each of the first two weeks. 🎤 Sunday's Packers vs. Browns contest is set to be carried on Fox, as play-by-play announcer Kevin Kugler teams up with three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl "Moose" Johnston in the booth, with reporter Allison Williams on the sidelines.

Deebo Samuel Sr. and the Washington Commanders (1-1) return to Northwest Stadium to host Devin White and the Las Vegas Raiders (1-1), coming off a short week after their Monday Night Football loss to the Chargers, on Sunday, September 21, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. The Raiders lost 20-9 to the Chargers on "Monday Night Football" last week. In Week 2, Washington suffered a 27-18 loss to the Packers during "Thursday Night Football". The Raiders will be traveling to the East Coast for the second time in three weeks, having previously played in Foxborough in Week 1 (a 20-13 win over the Patriots). With 300+ passing yards, Raiders QB Geno Smith would be just the third QB in Raiders history to have two 300+ passing yard games over the first three weeks of the season, joining Derek Carr (three times) and Rich Gannon (2002). LB Bobby Wagner leads the Commanders with 21 tackles through two weeks. 🎤 Sunday's Raiders at Commanders battle will be seen on Fox, with Chris Myers (play-by-play), three-time Super Bowl champion and former Redskins guard Mark Schlereth (analyst), and Jennifer Hale (reporter).

Two NFC South squads take the field in Week #3 as Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons (1-1) enter hostile territory vs. Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers (0-2) on Sunday, September 21, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. The Falcons come off a dominant 22-6 performance vs. the Vikings on "Sunday Night Football" last week. The Panthers lost their second straight game to start 2025 last week, falling 27-22 to the Cardinals. Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. aims for his 4th straight game with at least an 80 QB rating. Falcons EDGE Leonard Floyd had his first sack as a Falcon last week in Minneapolis. Panthers QB Bryce Young set career highs in completions (35) & pass yards (328) & had his 3rd-career game with 3 TD passes last week in Glendale, AZ. Panthers S Tre'von Moehrig is 1 of 3 DBs (Chamarri Conner, Kansas City & Talanoa Hufanga, Denver), with 9+ tackles in each of the first two regular-season weeks. 🎤 Sunday's Falcons vs. Panthers divisional match will be seen on Fox, featuring play-by-play announcer Alex Faust, analyst and four-time Super Bowl champion Matt Millen, and reporter Sarah Kustok.

Miles Sanders and the Dallas Cowboys (1-1) line up against Montez Sweat and the winless Chicago Bears (0-2) on Sunday, September 21, at 4:25 PM ET (3:25 PM CT) on Fox. Cowboys K Brandon Aubrey became the first in NFL history to hit field goals as time expired in both the fourth quarter and overtime when the Cowboys outlasted the Giants 40-37 in Week 2. 🎤 Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play), seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady (analyst), Erin Andrews (reporter), & Tom Rinaldi (reporter) are set for the late afternoon presentation on Fox.

James Conner and the undefeated Arizona Cardinals (2-0) look to stay perfect against Fred Warner and the San Francisco 49ers (2-0) in an NFC West matchup that holds plenty of interest on Sunday, September 21, at 4:25 PM ET (1:25 PM PT) on Fox. Last week, the Cardinals bested the Panthers 27-22. Last week, San Francisco vanquished New Orleans 26-21. The Cardinals are seeking their 3-0 start since the 2021 season. The 49ers are seeking their first 3-0 start since the 2023 season. Cardinals DL Calais Campbell, playing for Arizona for the first time since 2016, had two sacks in the club's Week 2 victory over the Panthers and became the fourth player age 39 or older since 1982 to record multiple sacks in a game, joining James Harrison, Clay Matthews, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Bruce Smith (three times). 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey had a touchdown catch last week vs. the Saints. McCaffrey became the third player in NFL history with at least 50 rushing touchdowns and 30 touchdown receptions, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers Marshall Faulk and Lenny Moore. 🎤 Play-by-play announcer Adam Amin teams up with analyst and former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez and reporter Kristina Pink for Sunday's Cardinals vs. 49ers matchup on Fox.

Fox's NFL coverage for Week #3 wraps up with "The OT" at 7:30 PM ET, following "America's Game of the Week". Hosts Curt Menefee and Terry Bradshaw, alongside analysts Howie Long, Michael Strahan, and Rob Gronkowski, discuss what went down during Sunday's slate of games.

Highlights of this week's MLB on Fox: On Deck article includes:
  • Fox's 30th season of MLB coverage continues on Thursday, September 18, with a Thursday night episode of "Baseball Night in America". This week, Fox will regionalize two games across the country, including Yankees vs. Orioles and Cubs vs. Reds. Game coverage kicks off at 7:00 PM (ET).
  • Divisional Clash In Baltimore: Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees resume their push towards the postseason against Gunnar Henderson and the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday, September 18, at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox.
  • NL Central Collision From Cincinnati: Two NL Central rivals meet as Ian Happ and the Chicago Cubs take on Elly De La Cruz and the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday, September 18, at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox.

With just two weeks left in the regular season, basically every game across Major League Baseball will have an impact on the postseason picture.

Fox intends to provide deserving playoff hopeful teams with national exposure in this week's edition of "Baseball Night in America." Due to Fox's college football commitments on Saturday, the MLB on Fox has been rescheduled from its usual Saturday primetime slot to Thursday night.

On Thursday, September 18, the MLB on Fox will focus on two divisional rivalries in particular. At 7:00 PM (ET), viewers will receive one of two game options on Fox. Austin Wells and the New York Yankees battle Jeremiah Jackson and the Baltimore Orioles, or Dansby Swanson and the Chicago Cubs compete head-to-head against Ke'Bryan Hayes and the Cincinnati Reds. Which game will you have the chance to enjoy this Thursday night on Fox, and who will be on the call? Read on to find out the answer to the previous question posed.

A couple of AL East foes square off in Baltimore as Jazz Chisholm Jr. and the New York Yankees visit Ryan Mountcastle and the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday, September 18, at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox. Currently, the season series between New York and Baltimore is tied at 3-3. The Yankees & Orioles will play seven times during the final two weeks of the season. This series is meaningful for only one of these teams — the Yankees. New York is looking to pace with the Blue Jays for first place in the American League East. Since August 1, the Yankees have compiled a record of 23-17. The Yankees have been in second place in the American League East since Labor Day Weekend (Friday, August 29). There is no question that Yankees RF Aaron Judge is the heart and soul of this team. Judge's outstanding play has him in the American League MVP conversation. "The Judge" leads the team in batting average (.326), home runs (48), runs batted in (102), on-base percentage (.447), & hits (163). 🎤 Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Hall of Famer John Smoltz (analyst), & Ken Rosenthal (reporter) will be on-site in Baltimore for Yankees-Orioles.

Pete Crow-Armstrong and the Chicago Cubs participate in National League Central play against Sal Stewart and the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday, September 18, at 7:00 PM (ET) on Fox. For the fourth and final time this season, the Cubs & Reds will match up. The Cubs hold a slim 5-4 series edge going into the final series. Chicago is comfortably in the postseason, even if the NL Central does not go their way. The Cubs are 86-64 as this week starts, which is good enough for the first NL Wild Card spot. Cincinnati, meanwhile, still has hope as the club tries to make the postseason for the first time since the COVID-19 shortened season in 2020 and for the first time in a full-length season since 2013. Can the Cubs unlock Pete Crow-Armstrong's full potential before the postseason? Something for you guys to monitor during this series. Reds SS Elly De La Cruz is a fantastic young player. However, it's been a while since De La Cruz went deep. His last home run was way back on July 31. Since that last home run, his batting average has been .206, which is absolutely abysmal. 🎤 Adam Amin provides commentary for Cubs-Reds alongside analysts and World Series champions AJ Pierzynski and Adam Wainwright.
