Hi, everybody! Welcome to the Week #15 publishing of the "NFL on CBS: Field Pass"! This week, CBS has a doubleheader lineup filled with games that will impact the playoff picture. This week's must-see games include Bills-Patriots at 1:00 PM ET, Packers-Broncos at 4:25 PM ET, among other spotlight contests. On Sunday, December 14, please join our friends over at CBS Sports as they have quite a Sunday planned for your football enjoyment. Which doubleheader games will be broadcast by your local CBS station, and who will call the games? Please continue reading the article for further details.

CBS will have the broadcasting rights to six NFL games this Sunday. In the early time slot (1:00 PM ET), the matchups feature the Bills taking on the Patriots, the Chargers versus the Chiefs, the Jets traveling to play the Jaguars, and the Ravens battling the Bengals. During the national doubleheader window (4:25 PM ET), the two games scheduled are the Packers versus the Broncos and the Colts taking on the SeahawksIt is important to note that both CBS and Fox will be airing doubleheaders this week.

As per usual, CBS kicks off its football Sundays with the iconic "The NFL Today powered by RAM Trucks" pregame show at 12:00 PM ET. Veteran studio host James Brown gets the honor of hosting this pregame staple with a cast of analysts that bring tons of experience to the table, including the 2016 NFL MVP Matt Ryan, Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach Bill Cowher, and former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson. Additionally, lead NFL on CBS insider Jonathan Jones appears on the program to provide insight from around the National Football League.

Christian Gonzalez and the AFC East-leading New England Patriots (11-2) host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills (9-4) in this critical contest on Sunday, December 14, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, with Ian Eagle (play-by-play), three-time Defensive Player of the Year JJ Watt (analyst), & Evan Washburn (reporter) featured on the television broadcast. New England exits its bye riding a 10-game win streak, which includes a 23-20 prime-time victory at Buffalo in Week 5. The wild-card positioned Bills have won two in a row.

Xavier Worthy and the Kansas City Chiefs (6-7) face a must-win situation against Khalil Mack and the Los Angeles Chargers (9-4) on Sunday, December 14, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, featuring play-by-play commentator Kevin Harlan, analyst and two-time Pro Bowler Trent Green, and reporter Melanie Collins on the mic from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chargers come off a wild 22-19 overtime win over the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles on Monday Night Football last week. As for Kansas City, things continue to worsen following an alarming loss on Sunday Night Football to the Texans last week, 20-10. With a win, Los Angeles would reach 10 wins on the season. That would be the first time since 2006-07 that the Chargers franchise collected 10 regular-season wins in consecutive years. Kansas City is on the brink of missing the postseason for the first time since 2014. The Chiefs must basically win out and receive plenty of help. Chargers QB Justin Herbert passed for 139 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 66 yards in Week 14 against the Eagles. Chargers LB Odafe Oweh had his 5th sack of the season in the previous game vs. Philadelphia. Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt rushed for 30 yards & a touchdown last week vs. the Texans. Chiefs S Mike Edwards had 7 tackles & a tackle for loss last week against Houston.

Marlon Humphrey and the Baltimore Ravens (6-7) try to avenge a Thanksgiving night loss to the Ja'Marr Chase and the AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals (4-9) on Sunday, December 14, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, as Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta, & Aditi Kinkhabwala are set for the CBS call. The Ravens are fresh off a frustrating 27-22 loss to the Steelers last week at home. Despite that, Baltimore is only one game behind Pittsburgh for the AFC North lead. The Steelers & Ravens will meet in Pittsburgh to finish the regular season. However, the Ravens need this win to get their record back to .500. Baltimore is searching for their third consecutive division championship. As for the Bengals, their playoff hopes are basically on life support following last week's 39-34 shootout loss to the Bills. For Cincinnati, it's simple. Win, and you are still alive. Lose, and you are DONE. Ravens RB Derrick Henry had 102 scrimmage yards (94 rushing, 8 receiving) last week vs. the Steelers. Ravens LB Roquan Smith led the team with 10 tackles & a tackle for loss last week against Pittsburgh. Bengals RB Chase Brown had a rushing touchdown & a touchdown reception last week against the Bills. Bengals DE B.J. Hill had 3 tackles & a sack vs. the Bills in Week 14.

Josh Hines-Allen and the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars (9-4) seek a fifth straight win as they receive Quincy Williams and the New York Jets (3-10) at EverBank Stadium on Sunday, December 14, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, with Tom McCarthy (play-by-play), former NFL offensive lineman Ross Tucker (analyst), & Tiffany Blackmon (sidelines) on-site in Jacksonville.  The Jaguars beat the Colts, 36-19, last week for the squad's fifth straight win. This five-game winning streak is very timely considering the late-season rise of the Houston Texans from the ashes. Keep in mind that Jacksonville & Houston will square off against each other to finish the regular season. Every game that Jacksonville plays between now and then is essential if the Jaguars want to stay on top of the AFC South.

Win streaks collide when Isaiah McDuffie and the NFC North-pacing Green Bay Packers (9-3-1) visit Patrick Surtain II and the Denver Broncos (11-2) on Sunday, December 14, at 4:25 PM ET on CBS, as the "NFL on CBS" lead team of Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, & Tracy Wolfson call the marquee interconference matchup from Denver. Denver has won 10 in a row after fending off the Raiders in Week 14. Green Bay's run stands at four games, with the past three coming over division rivals (MIN, DET, CHI).

Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts (8-5) try to pick up the pieces against Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks (10-3) on Sunday, December 14, at 4:25 PM ET on CBS, with Andrew Catalon (play-by-play), Super Bowl champion Jason McCourty (analyst), Charles Davis (analyst), & AJ Ross (sidelines) on the call. Sadly, the Colts lost starting quarterback Daniel Jones to a non-contact Achilles injury last week down in Jacksonville. That means that the Colts' season is on the verge of complete collapse. Now, Indianapolis must fly out West to face a Seahawks team that will surely test them in every conceivable way. The Seahawks are sitting pretty, on the other hand. Right now, they are in a tight division battle with the Rams (10-3). Plus, Seattle is in the congested hunt for the #1 seed in the NFC. As previously mentioned, the Colts were hammered by the Jaguars, 36-19, last week. As for Seattle, they convincingly dispatched the Falcons last week, 37-9. Colts CB Kenny Moore II had 4 tackles & a pass defensed last week vs. the Jaguars. Colts WR Josh Downs had 23 receiving yards in Week 14 against Jacksonville. Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp caught his second touchdown of the season last week vs. the Falcons. Seahawks CB Tariq (Riq) Woolen had two pass defenses in Week 14 against Atlanta.
