USA Sports has officially revealed the 2026 schedule for its inaugural WNBA season on USA Network. This schedule features exciting Wednesday night doubleheaders, high-profile matchups, star players from across the league, and the 2026 WNBA Finals games.

The WNBA on USA Network begins its coverage on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, with a matchup at 6:00 PM ET. The defending champion Las Vegas Aces, led by the 2025 Kia WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson, will face Cameron Brink, Kelsey Plum, and the Los Angeles Sparks at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Last season, Wilson claimed her second consecutive and record-setting fourth career WNBA MVP award, guiding the Aces to their third title in four years. This season, the Aces will retain Wilson, six-time All-Star Chelsea Gray, and 2025 All-WNBA Second Teamer Jackie Young, all of whom contributed to their championship victories.

USA Sports will enhance its WNBA coverage with dedicated pregame, halftime, and postgame studio programming throughout the season, positioning USA Network as the go-to destination for WNBA fans each week. Additionally, USA Sports will broadcast first-round playoff games and up to five WNBA Finals games, ensuring that the 2026 WNBA champion will be crowned on USA Network if the Finals series extends beyond a sweep.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DOUBLEHEADERS AND NOTABLE GAMES:
The core of the WNBA on USA Network schedule consists of Wednesday night doubleheaders throughout the season. These doubleheaders will commence on Wednesday, May 13, featuring the Las Vegas Aces visiting the Connecticut Sun at 8:00 PM ET, followed by Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever taking on the Los Angeles Sparks at 10:30 PM ET.

The Fever, along with Clark — who has earned All-Star honors in both of her WNBA seasons and was named the 2024 Rookie of the Year — will appear on USA Network at least nine times this season. The Fever has also re-signed guard Sophie Cunningham, who will serve as an Athlete Contributor for USA Sports’ WNBA coverage this year.

In the second week of USA Network’s Wednesday night doubleheaders on May 20, the Portland Fire will visit the Indiana Fever at 7:00 PM ET, followed by the Chicago Sky hosting 2025 Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers and 2026 No. 1 pick Azzi Fudd against the Dallas Wings at 9:00 PM ET.

The first month of Wednesday night doubleheaders will conclude on May 27 with the New York Liberty, featuring Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart, hosting Alyssa Thomas and the Phoenix Mercury — who reached the WNBA Finals last season— at 7:00 PM ET. Following that matchup, newly acquired Angel Reese, Allisha Gray, and the Atlanta Dream will visit No. 2 overall pick Olivia Miles and the Minnesota Lynx at 9:00 PM ET.

Noteworthy matchups scheduled throughout the season include:
- Wed., June 17 (10:00 PM ET): Aces vs. Mercury in a 2025 WNBA Finals Rematch
- Tues., June 23 (10:00 PM ET): Liberty vs. Aces
- Wed., July 8 (10:00 PM ET): Fever vs. Sparks
- Mon., July 13 (7:00 PM ET): Dream vs. Sparks
- Mon., August 10 (10:00 PM ET): Sky vs. Storm, featuring seven-time All-Star Skylar Diggins facing her former team

PUSH FOR THE PLAYOFFS:
After a break for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup from September 4-13, USA Network will showcase a series of crucial matchups during the final days of the season, with nine games scheduled from September 17-24 as teams intensify their efforts for the 2026 WNBA Playoffs presented by Google Pixel.

During this period, the Aces, Storm, and Wings will each appear on USA Network three times, while the Mercury will feature twice.

On Wednesday, September 23, USA Network will air a doubleheader featuring Atlanta vs. New York at 8:00 PM ET and Dallas vs. Seattle at 10:00 PM ET, marking the final regular-season games for all four teams. On the last day of the regular season, Thursday, September 24, USA Network will provide live coverage of another doubleheader, showcasing Indiana vs. Minnesota at 8:00 PM ET and Las Vegas vs. Phoenix at 10:00 PM ET.

GAME AND STUDIO COMMENTATORS:
The WNBA broadcasting team on USA Network comprises esteemed play-by-play announcers, analysts, hosts, and reporters. The game commentary team includes Kate Scott, Meghan McPeak, and Carlan Gay as play-by-play callers. At the same time, analysts Sarah Kustok, Tamika Catchings, Amy Audibert, Lea B. Olsen, and Edona Thaqi will provide insights. Additionally, courtside reporters Paris Lawson and Edona Thaqi will cover the action, joined by Terrika Foster-Brasby, a respected women’s basketball journalist with over a decade of experience, who will serve as a courtside reporter for the season.

Throughout the season, USA Sports will provide comprehensive pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage of the WNBA. Sports Emmy® Award-winning host Elle Duncan will lead the studio coverage, accompanied by two-time WNBA champion Renee Montgomery and recently inducted Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Chamique Holdsclaw. Lawson, Audibert, and Thaqi will also contribute to the studio coverage throughout the year, and Fever guard Sophie Cunningham will make appearances on select studio shows as an athlete contributor.

Last year, USA Sports and the WNBA established an 11-year media rights agreement, allowing USA Network to broadcast WNBA games—including regular-season games, portions of the Playoffs, and WNBA Finals in select years—starting with the 2026 season.

Under this multi-year agreement, which extends through 2036, USA Sports will present a minimum of 50 WNBA games annually on USA Network, including coverage of the WNBA Playoffs and WNBA Finals in select years starting this season.
