2020 - 2021 NHL on NBCSN Schedule

With the 2020-21 NHL season quickly approaching, NBC Sports has released the full, complete schedule for NBCSN this year.

All 31 NHL teams will appear this season on either NBC or NBCSN, beginning with a Wednesday, January 13th tripleheader including the defending Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning hosting the Chicago Blackhawks.

No team will have more than seven exclusive telecasts on NBC and/or NBCSN and 21 teams will have at least four national appearances this season.

Some teams will appear more than seven times, in those instances, these telecasts will be blacked out and exclusively carried by the team's local RSN instead.

More than 75% of the league's teams will show up during NBCSN's Wednesday Night Hockey coverage. Most Wednesday nights will feature doubleheaders, and even some tripleheaders as well.

On Monday, Jan. 18 (MLK Day), NBCSN will present their first-ever Martin Luther King, Jr. quadruple-header starting with Blue Jackets vs. Red Wings at 12 p.m. ET and concluding with Coyotes vs. Golden Knights at 10 p.m. ET.

NBCSN will feature 3 unique Tuesday Night Happy Hours doubleheaders (Feb. 2, Feb. 9 & Mar. 9) that will begin at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Sunday nights feature 10 unique matchups on NBCSN, featuring teams from all four divisions plus all four 2020 Conference Finals teams. Sunday nights will also showcase a traditional Western Conference team.

2020 - 2021 NHL on NBC Schedule

For the upcoming 2020-21 NHL season, NBC Sports will feature live coverage of the National Hockey League (NHL) on 17 occasions. According to NBC, this is once per week on average. The 17 NHL on NBC games this year will mark the MOST regular season games that NBC has carried in a single season.

Please note that Saturday, May 8th, the last Saturday of the NHL's shortened season, NBC has chosen to leave that time blank, allowing a game with playoff implications to be flexed in later on.

NBC Sports will return for their 16th consecutive season of NHL coverage with their game action this year.

NBC Sports released the complete game schedules for the NBC broadcast network and NBCSN (NBC Sports Network) on Wednesday. The NHL on NBCSN post will follow this one, so look out for that.
