On Thursday, March 20, ESPN and ABC, in coordination with the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association), announced their 2025 regular season broadcast schedule. ESPN, which has televised WNBA games since the league's beginning in 1997, starts its 29th season of coverage on Saturday, May 17, with an expanded slate of studio and game coverage across several Disney platforms, including ABC, ESPN, ESPN+, and Disney+.
Throughout the 2025 season, ESPN will televise up to 55 WNBA games, starting with a 26-game regular season game package from mid-May through early September and continuing through the WNBA Playoffs presented by Google.
