2015 - 2016 NBA on TNT Schedule

The 2015 - 2016 NBA schedule was released last night, and we now have the schedule for the NBA's longtime television partner Turner Sports. TNT will enter its 28th year carrying NBA action. TNT's coverage starts on opening night, October 27th, with a doubleheader. First, an Eastern Conference semifinal matchup from a year ago as

Then, the NBA champions Golden State Warriors will have a banner raised, receive their championship rings, and lace up their sneakers before facing the New Orleans Pelicans at 10:30 p.m. (ET) with Marv Albert (play-by-play), Chris Webber (analyst) and Craig Sager (sideline reporter) on the microphone.

In all, TNT will air the same amount of games as last year, 53 games, with most of those games airing on TNT's trademark Thursday Night DH coverage (some games will air on Tuesdays as well). TNT will also air All-Star Weekend coverage from Toronto in February.

Marv Albert once again serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for TNT's NBA coverage alongside analyst Chris Webber (and a rotation of other analysts including Grant Hill and Mike Fratello, among others). Kevin Harlan returns as the #2 play-by-play man with game analyst Reggie Miller.

2015 NFL on CBS Announcers

Super Bowl 50 will be on CBS in February so you know it will be a big season for the NFL on CBS this year, as well as with the return of Thursday Night Football. The announcing teams have now been released so let's take a look.

NFL on CBS Schedule
Thursday Night Football Schedule

1. Jim Nantz/Phil Simms//Tracy Wolfson
2. Ian Eagle/Dan Fouts//Evan Washburn
3. Greg Gumbel/Trent Green//Jamie Erdahl
4. Kevin Harlan/Rich Gannon
5. Spero Dedes/Solomon Wilcots
6. Andrew Catalon/Steve Beuerlein/Steve Tasker
7. Tom McCarthy/Adam Archuleta
8. Brian Anderson/Chris Simms

As has been expected, not that many changes from last season's announcing lineups save for some shifting of the sideline reporters with Washburn moving from the C team up to the B team, American University alum Erdahl replacing Washburn with Jenny Dell, who worked with the B team last season, moving over to the college ranks to replace Erdahl. Follow?

Another new thing, and this is only really for those who really follow this stuff, is that now we have set seven and eight teams with McCarthy with Archuleta as the F team and Anderson with Simms as the G team. Last year, the announcing assignments did not list permanent teams beyond the Catalon crew.

And once again, Nantz, Simms and Wolfson will be working on the TNF games and thus will not work most of the singleheader weekends for CBS.
