. Alternate Presentations: Longtime New York Yankees play-by-play commentator Michael Kay and former Sunday Night Baseball analyst Alex Rodriguez to team up for alternate broadcasts to air on ESPN2, alongside the traditional ESPN broadcast, starting on Sunday, Apr. 10

Another baseball season is almost upon us. And with that in mind, our friends over at ESPN recently announced their schedule for Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell for the upcoming 2022 season.

The 2022 season marks the 33rd straight season that the Worldwide Leader of Sports has had the rights to air the exclusive, national MLB game of the week.

The Sunday Night Baseball schedule for the 2022 season begins on Sunday, Apr. 10 as Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees host their archrivals, the Boston Red Sox and Xander Bogaerts.

On most weeks, Sunday Night Baseball will air at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN (with Ravech, Perez, Cone & Olney), ESPN Radio (with Jon "Boog" Sciambi & Doug Glanville), ESPN Deportes and the ESPN App. Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown will precede the Sunday Night Baseball games at 6 p.m. ET.

As previously mentioned, the new Sunday Night Baseball team will be made up of Karl Ravech (play-by-play), Eduardo Perez (analyst), and David Cone (analyst). Senior MLB Insider Buster Olney returns for his 12th season as a contributor for Sunday Night Baseball.

In addition, Michael Kay (longtime Yankees announcer) and Alex Rodriguez (2009 World Series champion and former Sunday Night Baseball analyst) will team up for select Sunday alternate broadcasts on ESPN2. Those ESPN2 broadcasts will complement the traditional ESPN Sunday Night Baseball broadcast. These two are slated for their first ESPN2 broadcast on Sunday, Apr. 10 as the Red Sox visit the Yankees. These alternate broadcasts will be noted and listed here on this page.

Schedule highlights:
  • The Red Sox and Yankees will collide twice: April 10 (Yankee Stadium) & July 10 (Fenway Park)
  • The Phillies and Bryce Harper, and the Yankees and Aaron Judge have three SNB appearances on the docket
  • Phillies and Mets clash twice in May: May 1 and May 29 (both at Citi Field)
  • Defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves visit San Diego Padres on April 17
  • 12 MLB Clubs have at least one Sunday Night Baseball game scheduled
Any Sunday Night Baseball game/timeslot with a "Teams TBA" listing means that the game will selected up to two weeks prior to the scheduled game broadcast.

And, ESPN will televise several exclusive games throughout the season, including the second-half opener on Thursday, July 21, when the San Francisco Giants visit the Los Angeles Dodgers at 10 p.m. ET. This game will mark the first matchup of the second half of the season, following the All-Star Break. These exclusive ESPN games will be tracked on this page this season alongside the traditional Sunday Night Baseball games.

Below, you can find the complete Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN, plus any exclusive MLB games, schedule for the 2022 season.
