The final full month of the 2023 NFL regular season begins on Sunday, December 3, with yet another full Sunday afternoon of football matchups across CBS and FOX. By now, the holidays are well underway 🎅🎄. Crazy to believe that Week 13 is upon us, as we push towards the final month of the regular season competition. And as always, I got you with the weekly publishing of my broadcast and market listings report for CBS and FOX.

FOX Sports will have the doubleheader this week, with their lineup set up as follows: Lions vs. Saints (1 PM ET), Falcons vs. Jets (1 PM ET), Dolphins vs. Commanders (1 PM ET), 49ers vs. Eagles (4:25 PM ET) & Browns vs. Rams (4:25 PM ET).

CBS Sports will have regional action this weekend, with five games on the docket, which includes: Broncos vs. Texans (1 PM ET), Cardinals vs. Steelers (1 PM ET), Colts vs. Titans (1 PM ET), Chargers vs. Patriots (1 PM ET) & Panthers vs. Buccaneers (4:05 PM ET).

With Thanksgiving now behind us, the playoff picture will particularly have meaningful importance as the NFL teams figure themselves out, establish a foundation for a long playoff run and/or a Super Bowl championship, or hit the reset button and prepare for the 2024 season. Week 13 figures to be a very busy week with tons of action.

Check out some of the Sunday afternoon Week 13 matchup game highlights:

An absolutely indispensable game takes place in Houston on Sunday, December 3 at 1:00 PM ET on CBS. In this matchup, C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans (6-5) host Justin Simmons and the Denver Broncos (6-5) in a contest with significant postseason implications in the AFC. The Texans' three game winning streak came to a heartbreaking end in Week 12, with 24-21 loss to the Jaguars. Meanwhile, the Broncos are on a roll right now with five straight victories following an atrocious 1-5 start. Which team will add a critical seventh win and bolster their postseason hopes? 🎤 Ian Eagle, Charles Davis and Evan Washburn are set to announce the action from Houston.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4) posted more than 400 yards of total offense in Week 12 during a nail-biting 16-10 win over the Bengals in AFC North play. Now, can Kenny Pickett and the Steelers handle their business at home against the woeful and inept Arizona Cardinals (2-10)? The Cardinals-Steelers game, which is scheduled for a 1:00 PM ET kickoff on Sunday, December 3 on CBS, features 🎤 Kevin Harlan, Trent Green & Melanie Collins on the broadcast call.

Believe it or not, Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts (6-5) are in a Wild Card position in the AFC. However, Indianapolis must continue their recent stretch of winning to ensure that they stay in the AFC Wild Card race and the AFC South divisional race. Their Week 13 opponent on Sunday, December 3 on CBS is Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans (4-7) as the Colts travel south to Nashville to clash with Tennessee in another AFC South battle. The 1:00 PM ET matchup has 🎤 Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber, Matt Ryan & AJ Ross on-site in Nashville for the television commentary.

FOX will be on hand for a very important matchup in the NFC during Week 13 as Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions (8-3) take on Lonnie Johnson Jr. and the New Orleans Saints (5-6) at 1:00 PM ET. The Lions attempt to bounce back following a shocking Thanksgiving Day loss to the Packers, 29-22. Detroit aims to separate themselves just a little bit more from their NFC North counterparts (such as the Vikings and Packers). The Saints look to erase the bad 24-15 loss to the Falcons last week. Keep in mind that the Saints are still very much alive for the NFC South division, since all four teams currently have a losing record. The stakes are super high for both teams involved in this matchup. 🎤 Joe Davis provides the play-by-play, three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl "Moose" Johnson gives the game analysis & veteran reporter Pam Oliver keeps viewers up-to-date from the sidelines.

Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and the Miami Dolphins (8-3) average 30.8 points per game. This high octane offense will take a trip to Landover, Maryland to play the Washington Commanders (4-8), a team that gives 29.2 points on average for the season. Miami tries to maintain their foot in the door for the AFC's #1 seed plus keep a sizable lead for the AFC East lead as Miami is set up for a Week 14 bye following the Commanders week. Can Washington keep Miami's explosive offense under control or will the Dolphins run circles around Washington's porous defense, especially the secondary? 🎙 Adam Amin (play-by-play), Mark Schlereth (analyst) & Kristina Pink (reporter) will provide commentary for the 1:00 PM ET matchup on FOX.

A mega matchup takes place in Philadelphia as the San Francisco 49ers (8-3) take on the Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) at 4:25 PM ET on FOX, in a rematch of last year's NFC Championship Game. This should be a treat, as two of the best in the league settle things on the football field. The Eagles are led by quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown, among others. The 49ers are led by quarterback Brock Purdy, wide receiver Deebo Samuel, tight end George Kittle, linebacker Fred Warner, and many more. Philadelphia is still basking in the glow of another come from behind victory on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, as Hurts scored the game-winning touchdown to cap off an remarkable second half/overtime as the Eagles once again overcame a double-digit deficit (17-7) to defeat the Bills, 37-34, in a overtime thriller. As for Purdy and the 49ers, they crushed to a 31-13 win over the Seahawks on Thanksgiving Day. In addition, San Francisco has ten days to prepare for this huge showdown while Philadelphia has the traditional week to produce a gameplan and take the necessary steps to lock in for this extremely important NFC confrontation. 🎙 Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play), Greg Olsen (analyst), Erin Andrews (reporter) & Tom Rinaldi (reporter) are set for the game call from Philadelphia.

David Njoku and the Cleveland Browns (7-4) are scheduled to play their second straight game on the West Coast this Sunday, as they line up against 9x Pro Bowler Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams (5-6) at 4:25 PM ET on FOX. The Browns try to get back on track following a 29-12 loss in Denver on Sunday afternoon, while the Rams try to build momentum following a 37-14 trouncing of the Cardinals last week. The Rams need this one in order to keep their NFC Wild Card hopes alive, while the Browns must come out of this one victorious to likely retain a top seven standing in the AFC. An AFC-NFC duel with lots on the line is ready to unfold at SoFi Stadium this weekend. 🎤 Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez and Laura Okmin team up for the broadcast call on FOX.
