Following a wonderful weekend of the Wild Card Series, we are now ready for the 2022 League Division Series in Major League Baseball.

The Division Series has the eight remaining teams fighting for an opportunity to qualify for the League Championship Series in their respective teams.

The 2022 League Division Series features a whole host of storylines. Can the Astros return to the World Series following last season's World Series loss? Can Aaron Judge lead the Yankees to their first World Series since 2009? Can the Dodgers get back to the World Series for the second time in the last three seasons and the fourth time in the last six seasons? Can the Braves repeat as World Series champions? Those are some of the plentiful storylines to watch and follow as we march our way closer to the first pitch of the Division Series on Tuesday afternoon.

In addition, the Seattle Mariners and the Philadelphia Phillies are back in the Division Series this year for the first time in a really, long time. The Mariners are back in the Division Series for the first time since the 2001 season (the last Mariners playoff appearance before this season). The Phillies are back in the Division Series for the first time since the 2011 season (the last Phillies playoff appearance before this season). The Mariners will face the Houston Astros in their best-of-5 Division Series while the Phillies square off with the Atlanta Braves in a best-of-5 Division Series.

The 2022 League Division Series begins on Tuesday, Oct. 11 with Game 1 of the best-of-5 National League Division Series from Atlanta. Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies (#6 seed, Wild Card) take on Ronald Acuna, Jr. and the Atlanta Braves (NL #2 seed, East champion) to open up Division Series play. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:07 PM (ET) on FOX. Lead MLB on FOX play-by-play announcer Joe Davis teams up with the Hall of Famer John Smoltz and reporter Ken Rosenthal for the Philadelphia-Atlanta series.

Later on, the American League Division Series gets underway with a Tuesday playoff doubleheader on TBS. First up, Cal Raleigh and the Seattle Mariners (#5 seed, Wild Card) will match up against their divisional foe, the Houston Astros and Jose Altuve, with live coverage from Houston for Game 1 beginning at 3:30 PM (ET). Brian Anderson will handle the play-by-play for the Mariners-Astros series, alongside analyst Jeff Francoeur and reporter Matt Winer. The second game at 7:30 PM (ET) has Oscar Gonzalez and the AL Central champion Cleveland Guardians visiting the Bronx to play Aaron Judge and the AL East champion New York Yankees in Game 1 of their series. Veteran play-by-play commentator Bob Costas, analyst and 1986 World Series champion Ron Darling & field reporter Lauren Shehadi call the Guardians-Yankees series.

FS1 wraps up Tuesday's Division Series coverage at 9:30 PM (ET) as Manny Machado and the wild card San Diego Padres meet up with Mookie Betts and the NL's #1 seed Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of their series. Play-by-play announcer Adam Amin, analyst and 2005 World Series champion AJ Pierzynski team up in the announcing booth for the Padres-Dodgers series. Tom Verducci reports from the field.

The 2022 League Division Series will be broadcast on either TBS, FOX or FS1.

* Welcome Back, Mariners & Phillies to the Postseason!!!: The Seattle Mariners and Philadelphia Phillies return to postseason play following a 21-year and 11-year postseason absence, respectively

The 2022 MLB Postseason is officially upon us! This season marks the first time that 12 teams will be participating in the postseason play, following MLB's postseason expansion from 10 teams to 12 teams.

The postseason will kick off with the first-ever Wild Card Series. The Wild Card Series is an expansion of the Wild Card postseason round, which started a decade ago back in 2012. The Wild Card Series is a best-of-three series pitting the Wild Card winners against each other one series (4 vs. 5) or pitting one Wild Card card team against a division winner in another series (3 vs. 6). In the Wild Card Series round, the top two teams in each league will automatically advance to the Division Series to face off with the Wild Card winners.

The Wild Card Series will begin on Friday, October 7 at 12:00 p.m. (ET), as ESPN will provide live coverage of Game 1 of the American League Wild Card Series from Cleveland. This American League Wild Card Series has the #6 seed Tampa Bay Rays taking on the #3 seed, the American League Central champions Cleveland Guardians from Cleveland. Jon "Boog" Sciambi will serve as the play-by-play announcer, alongside analyst Doug Glanville and field reporter Jesse Rogers.

Friday's Wild Card Series coverage continues at 2:00 p.m. (ET) on ABC with Game 1 of the National League Wild Card Series from St. Louis. This particular National League Wild Card Series features the #6 seed Philadelphia Phillies and Bryce Harper - making their first playoff appearance since 2011 - vs. the #3 seed, the National League Central Champion St. Louis Cardinals and Albert Pujols. Michael Kay will perform play-by-play duties, joined in the booth by analyst Alex Rodriguez. Field reporter Alden Gonzalez rounds out the broadcast team.

Later in the day, ESPN returns with live coverage of Friday's last two Wild Card Series series openers.

The 4:00 p.m. (ET) telecast on ESPN is Game 1 of the American League Wild Card Series from Toronto as the #5 seed Seattle Mariners and rookie sensation Julio Rodriguez return back to the postseason for the first time since 2001, ending MLB's longest postseason drought, visit Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and #4 seed Toronto Blue Jays. Play-by-play commentator Dave Flemming, analysts Jessica Mendoza and Tim Kurkjian, and field reporter Coley Harvey will perform commentary.

The nightcap at 8:00 p.m. (ET) on ESPN is Game 1 of the National League Wild Card Series from Queens, New York as Manny Machado and the #5 seed San Diego Padres battle Francisco Lindor and the #4 seed New York Mets. The Sunday Night Baseball broadcast team of Karl Ravech (play-by-play), Eduardo Perez (analyst), David Cone (analyst) & Buster Olney (reporter) will call the action.

The Wild Card Series will continue on Saturday with Game 2's and if necessary, Sunday, with Game 3's. ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC will televise each and every single Wild Card Series game.
