- The top team of Jim Nantz (play-by-play), Tony Romo (analyst) & Tracy Wolfson (reporter) comes back for the eighth straight season.
- Super Bowl champion Jason McCourty joins Andrew Catalon (play-by-play), Tiki Barber (analyst) & AJ Ross (reporter) to call a regular slate of "NFL on CBS" games.
- "NFL on CBS" broadcast assignments revealed for the first three weeks (Sept. 8, Sept. 15 & Sept. 22).
On Wednesday morning, CBS Sports officially announced their complete game announcing lineup for the upcoming 2024 season. This season marks the historic 65th season of the "NFL on CBS" (1958-1993, 1998-present).
The lead commentary trio of Jim Nantz, Tony Romo & Tracy Wolfson is set to once again lead the CBS announcing crews in 2024, doing so for the eighth consecutive season. They will be tasked with working CBS' top game each week, including the Thanksgiving Day game (Bears at Lions), the AFC Playoffs & the AFC Championship Game.
Jason McCourty, in his second campaign with CBS Sports, gets an expanded role working a full slate of games as a color commentator alongside the returning Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber & AJ Ross. In addition to that, McCourty will work select games with #7 play-by-play commentator Chris Lewis (during those weeks, Catalon & Barber will work in a two-man booth only).
The 2024 "NFL on CBS" announcer lineup is also highlighted by the return of numerous veteran and seasoned commentator groups.
Gene Steratore starts his seventh year as the NFL Rules Analyst.

Plus, "The NFL Today" studio show for the 2024 season features longtime host James Brown joined by returning analysts Bill Cowher, Nate Burleson & JJ Watt. The newest analyst for "The NFL Today" for the 2024 season is 15-year veteran quarterback Matt Ryan, who makes a transition from game analysis to studio analysts. Ryan replaces Phil Simms and Boomer Esiasion, who left the program following the 2023 season. Insider Jonathan Jones retains his role as the insider for the program. "The NFL Today" airs every Sunday afternoon from 12:00 PM (ET) to 1:00 PM (ET) on CBS.

The 2024 "NFL on CBS" schedule begins with a preseason matchup on Sunday, August 25 when the Arizona Cardinals visit the Denver Broncos at 4:30 PM ET. Then, regular season coverage kicks off with Week 1 on Sunday, September 8, with regional coverage highlighted by a AFC West rivalry as Jim Harbaugh makes his Charger head coaching debut as the Los Angeles Chargers host Davante Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders (4:05 PM ET).
The following are the "NFL on CBS" assignments for the preseason (when applicable) and for regular season Weeks 1 through 3 (subject to change).
