The NFL Network will be back for its 17th season of televising NFL games in 2022. During the 2022 NFL season, the network will exclusively televise seven NFL games. This season, the NFL Network's game broadcasts will originate from London, England; Munich, Germany; and the United States. Talk about taking football fans across the world!

The first of these broadcasts is slated for Sunday, October 2nd at a special time of 9:30 AM (ET) as Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings take on Demario Davis and the New Orleans Saints live from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. The Vikings-Saints game will kick off the 2022 version of the NFL's International Series. The Vikings-Saints game from London will be called by play-by-play announcer Kevin Kugler, analyst Mark Sanchez, with Laura Okmin and Stacey Dales reporting from the sidelines.

The following week, NFL Network is your home for another early-morning NFL contest across the pond. On Sunday, October 9th at 9:30 AM (ET), the Sunday Week 5 schedule begins in London as Xavier McKinney and the New York Giants square off against reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Kugler, Sanchez, Okmin & Dales will return to call the Giants vs. Packers game from London.

Later in the season, the NFL Network will showcase the first-ever NFL regular season game in Munich, Germany as Tyler Lockett and the Seattle Seahawks battle Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, November 13th at 9:30 AM (ET). The Seahawks-Buccaneers game takes place from Allianz Arena - Home of FC Bayern Munich.

  • Doubleheader games in television's most watched window (4:25 PM, ET) spotlighted by exciting playoff rematches with Bills at Chiefs, Chiefs at Bengals, and Rams at Buccaneers
  • Multiple national appearances by Chiefs, Packers, Rams, Buccaneers, Cowboys and Bengals
CBS has officially announced their broadcast lineup for the 2022 NFL season. The schedule features riveting matchups in the Sunday 4:25 PM, ET national doubleheader window, the window that is obviously the most-watched by football fans every single Sunday afternoon.

Among the CBS' schedule highlights are re-matches of last year's insane AFC postseason overtime thrillers with Bills at Chiefs and Chiefs at Bengals, plus a cross-flex playoff rematch between the past two Super Bowl champions with Rams at Buccaneers, plus multiple national appearances by the Chiefs, Packers, Buccaneers, Cowboys and Bengals. Including the Christmas Day game, the Rams will have two national appearances on CBS this season.

The NFL on CBS broadcast schedule is the television home for the young, budding stars at quarterback in the American Football Conference, including Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs), Josh Allen (Bills), Joe Burrow (Bengals), Lamar Jackson (Ravens), and Justin Herbert (LA Chargers). In addition, the AFC has added two veteran signal callers in Russell Wilson (Broncos) and Matt Ryan (Colts).

This year's schedule also promotes the opportunity to show top National Football Conference teams and prominent cross-flex matchups, with Tom Brady (Buccaneers) and Aaron Rodgers (Packers) making multiple appearances.

Furthermore, CBS will air a Thanksgiving Day game, a Christmas Day game, and three postseason games, culminating in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 29.

The NFL on CBS' 2022 regular season schedule begins on Sunday, September 11, with an NFL on CBS doubleheader.

The 2022 schedule is bookended with national Sunday doubleheaders in Week 1 and Week 18.

Highlighting the doubleheader schedule are three highly-anticipated rematches from last year's memorable and iconic postseason. The Bills will visit the Chiefs in a rematch of the AFC Divisional Playoff Game in Week 6 (Oct. 16), the Chiefs and Bengals will matchup in a rematch of the AFC Championship Game in Week 13 (Dec. 4). And the past two Super Bowl champions will meet on Sunday, November 6 when the Rams visit the Buccaneers in a cross-flex doubleheader game.

Among other important doubleheader games are Bengals at Cowboys in Week 2 (Sept. 18), Patriots at Packers in Week 4 (Oct. 2), & Bengals at Buccaneers in Week 15 (Dec. 18).

The NFL on CBS will celebrate the holidays with fans by presenting national games on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The network will broadcast the Bills at Lions game on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 24, at 12:30 PM (ET). The network will broadcast the Broncos at Rams game on Christmas, Sunday, December 25, at 4:30 PM (ET). The Broncos-Rams game will also air on Nickelodeon, airing their annual slime-filled presentation tailored for family viewing fun.

The regular-season schedule is followed by a postseason schedule which includes a Wild Card playoff game on Saturday, January 14 or Sunday, January 15, an AFC Divisional Playoff game on Saturday, January 21 or Sunday, January 22, and the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 29.

The NFL on CBS' #1 announcing team of Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson lead CBS' 63rd year of coverage of the NFL as the broadcast network is slated to televise more than 100 games during the 18 weeks of regular season play, plus the AFC Playoffs.

CBS will also present one preseason game as the Detroit Lions visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, August 28 at 4:30 PM (ET).

  • Monday Night Football's 53rd season kicks off on Monday, Sept. 12 with Broncos QB Russell Wilson's Seattle homecoming on ESPN and ABC;
  • Two Games, One Night: ESPN (Titans at Bills) and ABC (Vikings at Eagles) each televise a Monday Night Football game in 2022
  • ESPN+ exclusive game features Broncos at Jaguars from London in Week 8
  • Josh Allen, Tom Brady, Joe Burrow, Derek Carr, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, and Russell Wilson among decorated quarterbacks on MNF
ESPN will present 23 NFL games - 21 regular-season games, plus the Monday night Super Wild Card game and Pro Bowl - during the upcoming 2022 NFL season, bringing home the Walt Disney Company's most wide-ranging schedule to date. The record shattering regular season consists of 18 Monday Night Football games, including two games in one night on ESPN and ABC in Week 2, the first-ever exclusive game on ESPN+ in Week 8, and a Saturday doubleheader in Week 18 featuring matchups with postseason importance on ESPN and simulcast on ABC. In addition to its Week 2 and 18 games, ABC will simulcast ESPN's MNF presentation in Week 1 (Broncos/Seahawks), Week 3 (Cowboys/Giants), Week 15 (Rams/Packers), and Week 17 (Bills/Bengals).

ESPN's 2022 Monday Night Football strategy is fueled by a strong schedule of MVP's, marquee quarterbacks and recent Super Bowl Champions, combined with the legendary broadcast team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman's first season with ESPN/ABC. Buck and Aikman will be joined each week by reporter Lisa Salters, who returns for her own record-setting 11th season with the franchise.

The 53rd season of historic franchise will kick off on Monday, September 12th as new Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson returns to Seattle to face his former team, the Seattle Seahawks to finish the Week 1 slate. ESPN will televise the game, with ABC simulcasting ESPN's presentation.

In Week 2 (Sept. 19), MNF will air a special doubleheader. The night starts at 7:15 PM (ET) on ESPN with Titans vs. Bills, followed by Vikings vs. Eagles at 8:30 PM (ET) on ABC. This serves as an omen to what's to come. Beginning in 2023, ABC and ESPN will combine to televise three Monday Night doubleheaders per season.

ESPN has two international games planned for the 2022 NFL season. First up, on Sunday, October 30, ESPN+ will televise their first-ever exclusive NFL game as the Broncos play the Jaguars in London at 9:30 AM (ET). Then, on Monday, November 21, MNF will travel back to Mexico City for the 49ers vs. Cardinals clash at 8:15 PM (ET).

The Green Bay Packers will host the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15 on Monday, December 19 on ESPN from the historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, with an ABC simulcast available. The Packers' 2022 MNF game vs. the Rams will mark the 30th straight season that the Packers will have at least one Monday night game.

The Los Angeles Rams will travel to Santa Clara to play the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4 (8:15 PM, ET). The Rams-49ers game, of course, is a rematch of last season's NFC Championship game.

The defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals are scheduled for two MNF appearances this fall. Ja'Marr Chase and the Bengals travel to Cleveland in Week 8 and host Buffalo in Week 17.

Every single MVP from 2016 on will appear on MNF in 2022 (Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, and Matt Ryan).

MNF will have eight division showdowns planned for the 2022 NFL season, starting with the Cowboys-Giants game in Week 3. Following Cowboys-Giants, MNF's next three games are also divisional: Rams-49ers (Week 4), Raiders-Chiefs (Week 5), & Broncos-Chargers (Week 6).

All eight division champions from the 2021 NFL season and all 14 postseason teams from the 2021 NFL season appear on the Monday Night Football schedule in 2022.

ESPN, with an ABC simulcast, will air a Week 18 Saturday doubleheader on Saturday, January 7. These two games will feature teams and matchups with some sort of postseason implication attached to these games. The matchups will be determined later in the season.

ESPN will also air two preseason games. First up, Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears visit Tyler Lockett and the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, August 18 at 8:00 PM (ET). Then, Kyle Pitts and the Atlanta Falcons visit C.J. Mosley and the New York Jets on Monday, August 22 at 8:00 PM (ET).

The 2022 ESPN/ABC Monday Night Football schedule can be found below.

  • New SNF Broadcast Team - Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth & Melissa Stark - to Debut at the Hall of Fame (Jaguars vs. Raiders) on Thursday, Aug. 4

NBC's Sunday Night Football will once again be home to the best and brightest stars of the National Football League for the 2022 NFL season. From Matthew Stafford and the defending Super Bowl champion Rams raising their Super Bowl LVI banner at SoFi Stadium before facing Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in NFL Kickoff 2022, to Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes facing off for the sixth time (Week 4), to the pressure-packed season finale in Week 18. Following the regular season, NBC Sports will present three NFL playoff games (two Wild Card, one Divisional) across the first two weekends of the NFL Playoffs.

This season's SNF schedule is peppered with the league's star signal callers. 15 games will have a quarterback that has started at one Super Bowl.

All 2021 NFL postseason teams are on the SNF schedule, including three games each for the NFC East champion Dallas Cowboys, NFC North champion Green Bay Packers, AFC West champion Kansas City Chiefs, and the NFC South champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The new SNF announce team of Mike Tirico (play-by-play), Cris Collinsworth (analyst), and Melissa Stark (sideline reporter) will make their on-air debut at the Hall of Fame Game in primetime on Thursday, August 4 (8:00 PM, ET) on NBC. The Hall of Fame Game has the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the Las Vegas Raiders. Tirico replaces Al Michaels, who moved on to Amazon's Thursday Night Football (however, Michaels will announce a Wild Card playoff game for NBC this season). Stark replaces Michele Tayofa, who retired from sportscasting following Super Bowl LVI.

The season begins with NFL Kickoff 2022 on Thursday, September 8 (8:20 PM, ET) from SoFi Stadium, as Jalen Ramsey and the defending Super Bowl champions Rams host the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen, who passed for almost 9,000 yards and has led Buffalo to a impressive 24-9 record over the past two seasons.

The season opener of Sunday Night Football on Sunday, September 11 (8:20 PM ET) from AT&T Stadium, has seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit Dak Prescott and the defending NFC East champion Dallas Cowboys in a rematch of a thrilling Opening Night game from the 2021 season.

The highly anticipated Brady-Mahomes IV takes place in Week 4 on Sunday, October 2 (8:20 PM ET). Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs visit Tom Brady's Buccaneers under the lights at Raymond James Stadium. Chiefs-Buccaneers, of course, is a Super Bowl LV rematch. This game will mark the sixth time that the former Super Bowl and league MVP's will square off. The first Brady-Mahomes matchup took place on Sunday Night Football back on Oct. 14, 2018, with the two quarterbacks combining for almost 700 yards of passing and six touchdowns. Brady's Patriots won 43-40 on a field goal with no time left.

Following Brady-Mahomes, NBC's October slate of star-studded quarterback matchups continues in Week 5 on Sunday, October 9 (8:20 PM, ET) as Joe Burrow and the defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals take on Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens from Baltimore. The month of October wraps up in Buffalo (Week 8; Oct. 30; 8:20 PM ET) with another fantastic game featuring two noteworthy quarterbacks. Back-to-Back MVP Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers take a trip to Orchard Park, New York to play young superstar QB Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

SNF will feature three holiday matchups during the 2022 NFL season. Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings host the New England Patriots on Thursday, November 24 (8:20 PM ET), in the first-ever Thanksgiving game in Minnesota. Patriots HC Bill Belichick has a 3-1 record on Thanksgiving. Then, on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers visit Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. Murray is the sole rightsholder to having 70+ passing TD's and 20+ rushing TD's in his first three seasons in the league. And on New Year's night, Sunday, January 1, Matthew Stafford and the Rams face Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers, in the first-ever regular season meeting between the two teams since SoFi Stadium opened in 2020.

NBC will present 20 regular season games this season, including 18 regular-season Sunday Night Football games, NFL Kickoff 2022 (Bills vs. Rams, Week 1), and the annual Thanksgiving night primetime game (Patriots vs. Vikings, Week 12).

On the weekend of January 14-15, NBC will be the home for two Wild Card playoff games, including the primetime Sunday Wild Card playoff game. This will be followed up by a Divisional Playoff broadcast on the weekend of January 21-22.
