With the 2023 AT&T Play-in Tournament now behind us (and you can learn more about this by clicking the link below), it is now time for the 2023 NBA Playoffs presented by Google Pixel to officially start. The playoffs start off with 16 teams colliding in eight playoff matchups split evenly between the East and the West.

The 2023 NBA Playoffs will begin this Saturday, April 15, with four Game 1 matchups on either ESPN or ABC.

The playoffs for this season begins on Saturday, April 15 at 1 p.m. (ET) as Joel Embiid, a MVP candidate, leads his #3 seed Philadelphia 76ers into battle against rising superstar Mikal Bridges and the #6 seed Brooklyn Nets in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Beth Mowins will have the call alongside analyst (and former 76er) JJ Redick and sideline reporter Monica McNutt on ESPN.

Saturday's opening day playoff coverage continues at 3:30 p.m. (ET) on ESPN with yet another Eastern Conference Game 1. This time, Dejounte Murray and the #7 seed Atlanta Hawks will take on Jayson Tatum and the defending Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics (the #2 seed) for the opening game of that series. Longtime NBA on ESPN play-by-play commentator Ryan Ruocco, analyst and 2016 NBA Champion Richard Jefferson, and sideline reporter Rosalyn Gold-Onwude make up the broadcast team for this Game 1 contest.

Then, at 6 p.m. (ET) on ESPN, an intriguing Eastern Conference first-round series tips off from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. Donovan Mitchell and the #4 seed Cleveland Cavaliers host Jalen Brunson and the #5 seed New York Knicks in Game 1 of their best-of-seven series. Dave Pasch provides commentary alongside Hall of Famer Hubie Brown and reporter Cassidy Hubbarth.

Saturday's Game 1 coverage wraps up with an exclusive ABC contest at 8:30 p.m. (ET). This playoff contest is a very special one, especially if you are reading this (or reside) in Northern California. Stephen Curry and the four-time NBA champion Golden State Warriors (#6 seed) visit De'Aaron Fox and the resurgent Sacramento Kings (#3 seed), live from Sacramento's Golden 1 Center. This will mark Sacramento's first ABC game since 2007 and first primetime ABC game since 2002 (!) (and no, I am not making that up). Veteran play-by-play voice Mark Jones handles the call with Hall of Fame broadcaster Doris Burke. Malika Andrews will be reporting from the sidelines.

The 2023 NBA Playoffs presented by Google Pixel first-round action continue on Sunday, April 16, with one game on ABC and the remaining three games on TNT.

Sunday's NBA Playoffs coverage begins with Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals as LeBron James and the #7 seed Los Angeles Lakers visit Memphis to take on Desmond Bane and the #2 seed Memphis Grizzlies at 3 p.m. (ET) on ABC, with the NBA Finals broadcast team of Hall of Famer play-by-play commentator Mike Breen, analysts Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson, and reporter Lisa Salters on the call.

TNT's Sunday playoff tripleheader continues at 8 p.m. (ET) as Kawhi Leonard and the LA Clippers battle Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Brian Anderson is on the call, with analyst Stan Van Gundy and reporter Chris Haynes.

With the 2022-23 NBA regular season set to conclude this weekend, our attention now turns to the 2023 AT&T Play-in Tournament.

For those of you not familiar with the play-in tournament, the Play-in Tournament is a mini-tournament that the NBA contests before actually starting the playoffs (this year, the playoffs kick off on Saturday, April 15). The play-in tournament allows eight teams (seeded #7 through #10 in each conference) to have a right to earn the remaining four NBA Playoff spots.

The 2023 NBA AT&T Play-in Tournament will kick off on Tuesday, April 11, on TNT, at 7:30 p.m. ET, when Dejounte Murray and the #8 seed Atlanta Hawks visit Jimmy Butler and the #7 seed Miami Heat in a Southeast Division mini-tournament showdown. The winner will earn the East's #7 seed and play the #2 seed Boston Celtics in the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs. The Hawks-Heat loser will play in Friday's 8th place game versus the winner of Wednesday's Chicago-Toronto game.

Tuesday's play-in coverage continues at 10 p.m. ET on TNT with the Western Conference #7/#8 play-in game. LeBron James and the #7 seed Los Angeles Lakers will host rising superstar Anthony Edwards and the #8 seed Minnesota Timberwolves. The winner gets the #7 seed in the West and will face Desmond Bane and the #2 seed Memphis Grizzlies in the opening round of the Western Conference Playoffs. The Timberwolves-Lakers loser will play in Friday's 8th place game versus the winner of Wednesday's New Orleans/Oklahoma City game.

The Play-in Tournament continues on Wednesday, April 12, with a doubleheader on ESPN. The winner advances to Friday's 8th place game vs. the loser of Tuesday's Atlanta-Miami game and the loser is eliminated.

Wednesday's doubleheader coverage of the play-in tournament continues on ESPN at 9:30 p.m. ET with the Western Conference #9/#10 play-in game. Shai Gilegous-Alexander and the #10 seed Oklahoma City Thunder clash with CJ McCollum and the #9 seed from Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The winner advances to Friday's 8th place game vs. the loser of Tuesday's Minnesota-LA Lakers game and the loser is eliminated.

On Friday, April 14 (following a day off on Thursday, April 13), the 8th place games will be taking place. TNT will televise the Eastern Conference 8th place game at 7 p.m. ET as Zach LaVine and the #10 seed Chicago Bulls face Jimmy Butler and the #7 seed Miami Heat for a chance to secure the East's #8 seed. ESPN will televise the Western Conference 8th place game at 9:30 p.m. ET featuring the #8 seed Minnesota Timberwolves and the Karl-Anthony Towns hosting the #10 seed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder to see which team can grab the West's #8 seed.

After that, the 2023 NBA Playoffs will start with first-round action on the weekend of Saturday, April 15.
