The second round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs is slated to open up this weekend!

The first game will be on Saturday, Apr. 27 as the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Toronto Raptors in Toronto at 7:30 p.m. on TNT. Ian Eagle will be on-site at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto with Greg Anthony (analyst) and Rosalyn Gold-Onwude (sideline reporter).

Then, the next day on Sunday, Apr. 28, ABC will have a pair of Game 1's. First up, at 1 p.m., Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks will host Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics. Mark Jones will provide commentary with analyst Hubie Brown and reporter Lisa Salters. Second, at 3:30 p.m., Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors will host James Harden and the Houston Rockets. Mike Breen will provide commentary with analysts Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy and reporter Doris Burke.

The last Conference Semifinal series to open up shop will begin on Monday, April 29th. At 10:30 p.m. that night on TNT, Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets (coming off their amazing 7 game first round series against San Antonio) will entertain Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers. Brian Anderson will provide commentary with analyst Kevin McHale and reporter Dennis Scott.

What a wild, entertaining first round of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs!

The National Hockey League (NHL) announced on Wednesday of this week the schedule for the Conference Semifinal round of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Each and every game will be televised by a national platform only. You will also begin to notice that the schedule will begin to soften because less teams are now involved in the postseason fight. The networks of NBC and NBCSN will be responsible to televise each and every game of the second round (albeit there is a possibility that USA Network or CNBC can be resurrected to televise a potential Game 7 later on).

The second round will begin on Thursday, Apr. 25 with a Thursday night doubleheader. First up, the Boston Bruins will host the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Mike "Doc" Emrick will emcee on the play-by-play, joined by analysts Mike Milbury (booth) and Brian Boucher (Inside the Glass). Then later on, the St. Louis Blues will do battle against the Dallas Stars in Game 1 at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Brendan Burke will call play-by-play with analysts A.J. Mleczko (booth) and Pierre McGuire (Inside the Glass).

The second round strides forward the following evening on Friday, Apr. 26 with a Friday night doubleheader. The night's action will open from Brooklyn as the Carolina Hurricanes visit the New York Islanders in Game 1 of their series at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN. John Forslund will call the play-by-play with analysts Eddie Olczyk (booth) and Brian Boucher (Inside the Glass). The doubleheader shifts West as the Colorado Avalanche visit the San Jose Sharks in Game 1 of their series at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
