  • Southern Hostility: The top of the AFC South is on the line when Camryn Byrum and the Indianapolis Colts (8-4) face Josh Hines-Allen and the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4) on Sunday, December 7, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS.

Welcome to the Week #14 edition of the "NFL on CBS: Field Pass"! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! This weekend, CBS continues its live coverage of the 2025 NFL Season with an afternoon filled with regional action on Sunday, December 7. In Week #14, CBS will regionalize five games throughout the country. The selection of games includes Steelers-Ravens (1:00 PM ET), Dolphins-Jets (1:00 PM ET), Saints-Buccaneers (1:00 PM ET), Colts-Jaguars (1:00 PM ET), & Broncos-Raiders (4:05 PM ET).

The purpose of this week's article is to preview the NFL on CBS schedule and inform you which game will be available locally on Sunday. With that in mind, let's get started!

As per usual, CBS kicks off its football Sundays with the iconic "The NFL Today powered by RAM Trucks" pregame show at 12:00 PM ET. Veteran studio host James Brown gets the honor of hosting this pregame staple with a cast of analysts that bring tons of experience to the table, including the 2016 NFL MVP Matt Ryan, Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach Bill Cowher, and former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson. Additionally, lead NFL on CBS insider Jonathan Jones appears on the program to provide insight from around the National Football League.

Roquan Smith and the Baltimore Ravens & Patrick Queen and the Pittsburgh Steelers, both at 6-6, meet for the first of two crucial matchups to the fate of the AFC North on Sunday, December 7, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, led by the lead commentary crew of Jim Nantz (play-by-play), former NFL quarterback Tony Romo (analyst), & Tracy Wolfson (sidelines). Baltimore's five-game winning run was halted by Cincinnati on Thanksgiving. Baltimore doubled up Pittsburgh 28-14 in a 2024 AFC Wild Card Game.

First place in the AFC South is at stake in this high-profile late-season duel when Mekhi Blackmon and the Indianapolis Colts (8-4) visit Brian Thomas Jr. and the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4) on Sunday, December 7, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, with play-by-play commentator Ian Eagle, analyst and three-time Defensive Player of the Year JJ Watt, and sideline reporter Evan Washburn handling the CBS television broadcast. The Colts were defeated 20-16 by the Texans last week at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Jaguars pummeled the Titans, 25-3, in Week #13. With five weeks left in the regular season, this game is pivotal for both sides with the division lead literally hanging in the balance. The Colts lead the league in points per game with 29.8. Colts S Nick Cross has four tackles for loss so far this season. Jaguars WR Jakobi Meyers produced six receptions for a team-high 90 yards and a touchdown last week vs. the Titans. Jaguars DE Josh Hines-Allen's 10.5 sacks vs. the Colts are the most he has against any opponent.

Longtime NFC South rivals collide in the Sunshine State as Chris Godwin Jr. and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-5) host Cameron Jordan and the New Orleans Saints (2-10) on Sunday, December 7, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS. The CBS broadcast will feature Kevin Harlan (play-by-play), two-time Pro Bowler Trent Green (analyst), & Melanie Collins (sidelines). The Buccaneers narrowly defeated the Cardinals, 20-17, last week at Raymond James Stadium. Entering Week #14, Tampa Bay holds a slight lead in the NFC South over second-place Carolina. Keep in mind that Tampa Bay & Carolina are set to play two games head-to-head over the final three weeks of the season, so the division may come down to those two matchups. Buccaneers CB Jamel Dean has three interceptions so far this season. Since 2023 (when he arrived in Tampa Bay), Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield has been second in the NFL in touchdown passes (88), only trailing Lions QB Jared Goff (92).

Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins (5-7) continue their late-season push to keep their slim playoff hopes alive versus Jamien Sherwood and the New York Jets (3-9) on Sunday, December 7, at 1:00 PM ET on CBS, with play-by-play commentator Spero Dedes joining analyst and former NFL safety Adam Archuleta and reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala for the television call. Last week, the Dolphins defeated the Saints 21-17. In Week #13, the Jets conquered the Falcons 27-24 in overtime. If the Jets lose, then they will be eliminated from playoff contention. Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle had 40 receiving yards in Week 13 vs. the Saints. CB Rasul Douglas had 6 tackles & an INT last week vs. the Saints. Jets WR Adonai Mitchell racked up 102 yards on eight receptions and scored his first career touchdown last week vs. the Falcons. Jets S Malachi Moore (rookie) collected 10 tackles against Atlanta a week ago.

RJ Harvey and the AFC West leading Denver Broncos (10-2) look to extend their winning streak to ten consecutive games with this AFC West tilt against Devin White and the Las Vegas Raiders (2-10) on Sunday, December 7, at 4:05 PM ET on CBS, with Andrew Catalon (play-by-play), Super Bowl champion Jason McCourty (analyst), Charles Davis (analyst), & AJ Ross (sidelines). The Broncos are coming off a 27-26 overtime victory over the Washington Commanders last week. Currently, Denver has a two-game lead in the AFC West and trails the Patriots by a half-game for the #1 seed in the conference (New England will be on a BYE in Week 14). Broncos LB Nik Bonitto ranks third in the NFL in pressure percentage (19.5) this season. Broncos WR Courtland Sutton became the third-fastest Bronco to reach 6,000 career receiving yards last week against the Commanders.
