NBC Sports Group released their national TV schedule for the upcoming season on Monday and therefore, we now have the schedule for the NHL on NBCSN. NBCSN is slated to enter season #14 carrying NHL games. NBCSN will have their most diverse schedule ever this year, featuring more Western Conference teams and Canadian teams in general. NBCSN's regular-season coverage will begin on Opening Night, Wednesday, October 3rd, with the Capitals' Stanley Cup banner-raising ceremony prior to their game against Boston (7:30 p.m., ET) and then Anaheim-San Jose (10:30 p.m., ET). NBCSN is slated to air 96 games this year. NBCSN will be your home for the newly-renamed
Wednesday Night Hockey (featuring more doubleheaders then ever before), select games during the week, the NHL All-Star Skills Competition from San Jose, select
Sunday Night Hockey & of course, the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
