2024 NFL on FOX Schedule

  • NFL on FOX adds a new holiday game to matchless regular season slate on Saturday, December 21 when the Baltimore Ravens host the Pittsburgh Steelers at 4:30 PM ET.
  • Week 1 starts off with a exclusive doubleheader day, featuring the highly anticipated broadcast debut of Tom Brady in a America's Game of the Week showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns.
  • NFL on FOX lands first Super Bowl re-match in network history in Week 7, when the Kansas City Chiefs visit the San Francisco 49ers during America's Game of the Week.
  • FOX Sports strides into the network's 11th Super Bowl presentation with Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

Following a renowned 30th anniversary season of offering award-winning NFL coverage and entering a supercharged year that will come to a crescendo on FOX with Super Bowl LIX live from the Casears Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9, 2025, FOX Sports announced their 2024 NFL schedule earlier this week.

FOX Sports' much looked forward to 31st season on the air begins on Sunday, September 8, with a exclusive doubleheader and the new NFL on FOX lead broadcast team featuring returning NFL on FOX play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt alongside seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady in his game analyst debut. Burkhardt and Brady are joined by veteran reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi on the call for the Dallas Cowboys at the Cleveland Browns in America's Game of the Week (4:25 PM ET).

For the first time in the three-decade long history of FOX Sports, the network will have a opportunity to highlight a Super Bowl re-match between the two teams that played in the big game the previous year. America's Game of the Week will have the Super Bowl 58 re-match as the San Francisco 49ers host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7.

FOX's robust 18-week slate for the 2024 regular season features appearances from a powerhouse lineup of NFC teams, including the Cowboys (9), 49ers (8), Lions (8), Eagles (8), Packers (8) and Giants (8).

Following the regular season, FOX will have four postseason games -- one Wild Card game, one Divisional Playoff game, the NFC Championship Game & and of course, Super Bowl LIX.

Super Bowl LIX marks FOX's 11th broadcast of the Super Bowl - more than any other network in the last 30 years - and comes in two years after FOX's widely praised coverage of Super Bowl LVII in Arizona, where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles (38-35) in the final moments of the game.

2024 NFL on FOX Schedule Highlights:

  • Thanksgiving Day football and the NFL's annual "John Madden Celebration" return on Thursday, November 28, at 4:30 PM ET on FOX when the New York Giants visit the Dallas Cowboys.
  • FOX's longstanding tradition of anchoring FOX NFL Sunday from a military installation will continue this season on Sunday, November 10. This year's show will be anchored from Naval Base in San Diego, California, the world's second largest surface ship naval base, and will feature the FOX NFL Sunday cast participating in special training with U.S. Navy SEALs.

Studio Coverage:
NFL on FOX coverage begins each Sunday morning at 11:00 AM ET with FOX NFL Kickoff with Charissa Thompson, Julian Edelman, Michael Vick, Charles Woodson & Peter Schrager. This is followed by FOX NFL Sunday at 12:00 PM ET, America's most watched pregame show since the show's inception back in 1994.

FOX NFL Sunday, led by co-hosts Curt Menefee and Hall of Famer quarterback and four-time Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw, is the only pregame show desk that is entirely made up of Pro Football Hall of Fame analysts (Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Howie Long & Jimmy Johnson).

    3. Amin/Vilma/Pink
    4. Albert/Schlereth/Spake

    7. Faust/Quinn/Olivi
Let me know what you think.

    1. @Mark T. Sounds pretty solid, bro. Brady gets the #1 analyst job. Olsen slides down to the #2 team (with Davis & Oliver). Vilma (from #4 to #3) & Schlereth (from #3 to #4) switch places on the depth chart. Johnston is re-paired with Chris Myers once again, and Robert Smith goes back to college football (where he was before the promotion to the NFL). Kugler/Sanchez remains the same. And Faust/Quinn get the occasional #7 game that FOX gets.

      Delete
    2. Yeah. I hope Myers and Johnston will reunite.

  7. Per Rudy Martzke, Adam Amin and Mark Sanchez are a new duo in the booth for fox this season and they will call the preseason game between the Saints and 49ers on August 18. So in all likelyhood, the 6 announcer pairings this season for fox will be:
    - Kevin Burkhardt & Tom Brady
    - Joe Davis & Greg Olsen
    - Adam Amin & Mark Sanchez
    - Kenny Albert & Mark Schlereth
    - Kevin Kugler & Jonathan Vilma
    - Chris Myers & Daryl Johnston
This is just my guess for the last three pairing. I'll have to wait for fox to make an announcement, but the top 3 announcer pairings are confirmed

    ReplyDelete
  8. Per Rudy Martzke on X
Adam Amin and Mark Sanchez will call Fox's preseason game of Saints-49ers

    ReplyDelete
  9. So Rudy Martzke has confirmed 4 out of 6 main fox pairings:
    - Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady
    - Joe Davis and Greg Olsen
    - Adam Amin and Mark Sanchez
    - Kevin Kugler and Daryl Johnston
So that means Kenny Albert will work with one of Mark Schlereth or Jonathan Vilma, and Chris Myers will work with the other person

    ReplyDelete
  10. Rudy Martzke also announced that Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma are back together. So this would all likely mean Chris Myers and Mark Schlereth will be a new pairing this year

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. However, Shannon Spake won't be with them. Rudy confirmed that Spake was leaving the network.

      Delete
  11. Rudy Martzke has announced that Megan Olivi will be the reporter of the team that has Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma. That means so far we only know the reporters of two pairings with Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi being the reporter of Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady and now Megan Olivi will be reporter of the team that has Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma. Still waiting for other reporters.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Rudy Martzke has announced that Megan Olivi will replace Shannon Spake in the Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma crew. So it appears this is how each broadcast team will look like:
    1. Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady & Erin Andrews, Tom Rinaldi
    2. Joe Davis, Greg Olsen & Pam Oliver
    3. Adam Amin, Mark Sanchez & Kristina Pink
    4. Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma & Megan Olivi
    5. Kevin Kugler, Daryl Johnston & Laura Okmin
    6. Chris Myers, Mark Schlereth & Jen Hale

  14. Who will replace Megan Olivi as #7 sideline reporter?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @Mark T. Mark, to be quite honest, I do not know. The #7 FOX crew will barely be used this season (maybe two or three games), so I have zero idea on who FOX plans to use. We'll find out soon enough.

  19. Fox has officially released their 2024 NFL Announcing teams, and I noticed a couple of things:
    - Burkhardt, Brady, Andrews and Rinaldi are the top team
    - Davis, Olsen and Oliver are the second team
    - They actually listed Albert, Vilma and Olivi as the third team, pushing the Amin, Sanchez and Pink to the fourth team
    - They also listed Myers, Schlereth and Hale as the fifth team and Kugler, Johnston, Okmin as the sixth team

  20. It's not fair that Adam Amin is gonna call the Bears preseason game and then fly out to San Francisco to call Saints-49ers.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @Mark T. Mark, you are absolutely right. Why does Amin have to call TWO games in TWO days in TWO different cities for TWO different networks with basically no time to prepare? If Amin was calling NO/SF this weekend for FOX all the way, the Bears SHOULD HAVE a fill-in announcer ready to go for this week only (given Amin's FOX duties taking priority). Just give Adam the week off in terms of Bears duties, let him call the Saints/49ers game for FOX, and then Amin will be back for the Bears-Chiefs preseason game next Thursday night. This is BRUTAL. No announcer should have to be put in this particular scenario.

And by the way, Andrew Catalon is going to do the same thing next weekend for CBS (barring anything crazy). Call the Panthers-Bills preseason game on Saturday (1:00 PM ET), and then he is forced to fly out to Denver (on the opposite side of the country) to work the Cardinals-Broncos preseason game on Sunday afternoon for CBS (4:30 PM ET/2:30 PM MT).

  25. I really hope FOX is doing the Right Thing by Switching Both Kevin Burkhardt to San Francisco and Joe Davis to Chicago Hopefully by Sometime Before Next Sunday So What Do You Think of It?

    1. @www.rdw1984.com Unfortunately, I don't think that is going to happen. FOX's assignments for Weeks 1 through 4 appear to be final and not switchable at all. I believe the FOX announcer assignments for the first 8 weeks (or so) are finalized during the preseason, and will not change barring anything unforeseen.

  27. Is Kugler gonna make it in time from Florida to Charlotte?

    1. @Mark T. Mark, I think so. If the game ends at 7:00 PM (ET) (assuming no overtime) and it takes about 2 hours to leave the stadium, get your belongings, and get prepared to fly, Kugler could realistically get on a plane from Orlando (where UCF is located) to Charlotte (where the Bengals-Panthers game is located), at 9:21 PM (ET) Saturday night and arrive in Charlotte at 11:07 PM (ET) Saturday night (before midnight). A flight from Orlando to Charlotte takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes (give or take).

    1. @Mark T. Hopefully, by early next week (Monday or Tuesday). Perhaps as soon as Sunday if our guy Rudy Martzke posts the assignments ahead of time.
