Prime Video’s fifth season of exclusive Thursday Night Football (TNF) coverage launches with remarkable energy and promises an engaging lineup for fans. This season features a thrilling assortment of cross-divisional matchups, high-stakes quarterback duels, and the inaugural NFL regular season game at the newly constructed Highmark Stadium in Buffalo. The 2026 campaign culminates in a pair of holiday matchups: the Texans face off against the Eagles on Christmas Eve in Philadelphia, followed by a classic AFC North showdown between the Ravens and Bengals in Cincinnati on New Year’s Eve.

Jay Marine, Head of Prime Video U.S., Global Sports and Advertising, expressed excitement about the season’s kickoff. “We are thrilled to launch our fifth season of TNF with a fantastic lineup of games, starting with Detroit at Buffalo as the Bills inaugurate their state-of-the-art stadium. This year’s schedule features outstanding matchups and the biggest stars in the game, building on the momentum from last year’s record-setting TNF season.”

The upcoming NFL schedule on Prime Video showcases an impressive array of games featuring some of the league’s most dynamic quarterbacks: Jared Goff will take on Josh Allen on September 17; Drake Maye will face Caleb Williams on October 22; Jayden Daniels will compete against Jaxson Dart on November 12; Patrick Mahomes will square off against Matthew Stafford on December 3; and Lamar Jackson will clash with Joe Burrow on December 31. Additionally, several captivating cross-divisional games are set, including an October 15 matchup between the World Champion Seahawks and the AFC West Champion Broncos, which nearly represented last year’s Super Bowl. Other notable highlights include the Mahomes vs. Stafford showdown when the Rams host the Chiefs the week after Thanksgiving, and the December 17 clash between the 49ers and Chargers.

This year’s Black Friday Football features a thrilling matchup between the Broncos and Steelers, both of whom are AFC division champions from 2025. This game will again serve as the centerpiece of an all-day sports marathon on Prime Video, as Amazon ushers in the holiday season with exciting deals and cultural offerings.

Legendary play-by-play announcer Al Michaels and five-time Emmy Award-winning analyst Kirk Herbstreit will return each week to deliver the main broadcast for the fifth straight year, complemented by sideline reports from Kaylee Hartung. TNF host Charissa Thompson will lead pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage alongside Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth, and Richard Sherman, with feature stories and in-depth interviews conducted by Taylor Rooks.

Coverage will commence each Thursday with TNF Tonight at 7:00 PM ET. TNF Nightcap will follow each Thursday’s game on Prime.
