For the 21st straight year, the NFL Network will air select NFL matchups throughout the season. A new twist is the fact that the NFL Network is now owned by ESPN.
Of the NFL Network’s seven-game lineup during the 2026 season, five of them will be International Series games (Weeks 4-7 & Week 9), including the first-ever NFL regular season game from Paris. The remaining two games will be part of a late-season Saturday doubleheader in Week 16, with the network set to broadcast games at 4:30 PM ET and 8:00 PM ET, respectively, on Saturday, December 26. This is the first year that the NFL Network is part of the ESPN family, following ESPN’s acquisition of the formerly league-controlled network in 2025.
NFL Network’s seven-game schedule includes five International Series games. Highlights include the following:
- AFC South Clash: Texans-Jaguars from London (Week 6) highlights the schedule, with both teams coming off 12+ win seasons in 2025.
- Overseas Debuts: Joe Burrow (CIN), Ja’Marr Chase (CIN), and Jayden Daniels (WSH) are set to play internationally for the first time this year.
- Return of the Birds: The Eagles will have their first NFL Network appearance since 2018.
In Week 16, the NFL Network will air two of the following four games: Buccaneers-Falcons, Commanders-Vikings, Panthers-Steelers, or Bengals-Colts. These matchups will be announced at least two weeks before Saturday, December 26.

I have Rich Eisen calling IND-WSH and PHI-JAX and then I think an ESPN CFB Crew (because of the recent merger) will take Saturday off of CFB and call HOU-JAX, PIT-NO, and CIN-ATL
ReplyDeleteAs for Week 16 I think WSH-MIN and CAR-PIT get moved to Saturday
Update: I now think CIN vs IND becomes a Saturday game over WSH vs MIN. I think CIN vs IND is at 4:30 ET and CAR vs PIT (Rodgers final home game as a Steeler excluding possible playoffs) is at 8:15 ET.
DeleteThis past week it got announced that Dave Pasch is leaving his job with the AZ Cardinals Radio to call NFL games on NFL network given the NFLN and ESPN merger and Chris Fowler not calling games overseas because of College Football. Here are my updated predictions with this announced:
ReplyDeleteWeek 4
IND at WSH: Eisen/Warner
Week 5
PHI at JAX: Eisen/Warner
Week 6
HOU at JAX: Pasch/Orlovsky/Riddick
Week 7
PIT at NO: Pasch/Orlovsky/Riddick
Week 9
CIN at ATL: Eisen/Warner
Week 16
CIN at IND: Pasch/Orlovsky/Riddick
CAR at PIT: Eisen/Warner
Awful announcing released an article stating once they hear about Jason Kelce the NFLN/ESPN combined pairings will be:
Delete1. Dave Pasch/Kurt Warner
2. Bob Wischusen/Louis Riddick
This likely means no Rich Eisen called games this year since Warner is expected to be with Pasch. Here are my updated predictions:
Week 4
IND at WSH: Dave Pasch, Kurt Warner (Pasch won't call CFB on Saturday Oct 3)
Week 5
PHI at JAX: Dave Pasch, Kurt Warner (Pasch won't call CFB on Saturday Oct 10)
Week 6
HOU at JAX: Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick (Wischusen won't call CFB on Oct 17)
Week 7
PIT at NO: Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick (Wischusen won't call CFB on Oct 24)
Week 9
CIN at ATL: Dave Pasch, Kurt Warner (Pasch won't call CFB on Nov 7)
- Note: If Eisen does still get a game this year this is likely it because this is a full week apart from the prior 4 International Games and November 7 in CFB is by far the best slate all year meaning ESPN might want both Pasch and Wischusen still on the call that Saturday.
Week 16
CIN at IND: Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick
CAR at PIT: Dave Pasch, Kurt Warner
- Better of the 2 games selected will be at night and should get Pasch/Warner over Wischusen/Riddick
Week 18 should be
1:00 ET: Noah Eagle, Luke Kuechly on Netflix
4:30 ET: Pasch OR Wischusen, Warner OR Riddick on ESPN
8:15 ET: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman
