This week, we will preview Sunday's Week #15 NFL on Fox doubleheader, highlighted by the high-profile Lions vs. Rams showdown on America's Game of the Week. Pregame coverage on Fox begins at 11:00 AM ET with Fox NFL Kickoff presented by Little Caesars. Charissa Thompson hosts "Fox NFL Kickoff" alongside three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman and Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson. "Fox NFL Kickoff" provides the first word on Sunday's games, live reports from NFL game venues, breaking news, interviews with NFL newsmakers, and much more.
Sunday's pregame slate marches forward at 12:00 PM ET with the legendary "Fox NFL Sunday presented by GMC" pregame show. "Fox NFL Sunday" features co-hosts Curt Menefee and Pro Football Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw. Joining Menefee and Bradshaw at the desk are Pro Football Hall of Famers Howie Long and Michael Strahan. Additionally, four-time champion Rob Gronkowski will join the show regularly throughout the season. Lead NFL on Fox insider Jay Glazer rounds out the "Fox NFL Sunday" cast and will add notes and news from around the league as the early game kickoffs approach. "Fox NFL Sunday" offers plenty, including predictions, analysis, and high-profile NFL interviews.
Brock Bowers and the Las Vegas Raiders (2-11) visit Jalen Hurts and the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles (8-5) on Sunday, December 14, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, with Joe Davis (play-by-play), three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen (analyst), & Pam Oliver (sidelines) providing commentary. The Eagles have dropped three in a row after a prime-time overtime loss to the Chargers on December 8. Jalen Hurts (PHI) committed a career-high five turnovers in that setback, including two in one play.
Deebo Samuel Sr. and the Washington Commanders (3-10) line up against Darius Slayton and the New York Giants (2-11) on Sunday, December 14, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Super Bowl champion Jonathan Vilma (analyst), & Megan Olivi (reporter) are set for the early afternoon Fox presentation.
Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns (3-10) head to Soldier Field to face Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears (9-4) on Sunday, December 14, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, with Kevin Kugler (play-by-play), three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl "Moose" Johnston (analyst), & Allison Williams (reporter) on the call. Chicago is looking to bounce back after a tough 28-21 loss on the road to the Packers last week at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Before that, Chicago had won five consecutive games. At 9-4, Chicago currently holds the final playoff spot in the NFC. The Bears will have another opportunity to play the Packers coming up in Week 16. Bears RB D'Andre Swift had a team-high 63 rushing yards last week against the Packers. Bears DB C.J. Gardner-Johnson had a team-high 10 tackles & had an interception in Week 14 vs. the Packers.
Jalen Pitre, C.J. Stroud, and the resurgent Houston Texans (8-5) host Michael Wilson and the Arizona Cardinals (3-10) for a battle of teams that are linked by three-time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt on Sunday, December 14, at 1:00 PM ET on Fox, with play-by-play announcer Chris Myers, three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth, and reporter Jennifer Hale teaming up to announce the action. Houston is feeling good because the team has strung together five consecutive wins heading into Week 15's contest against the Cardinals. In Week 14, the Texans shocked the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, defeating them 20-10. As a result, the Texans are only one game behind the Jaguars for first place in the AFC South. Houston comes into this weekend with a playoff spot in the bag. Texans DE Will Anderson Jr. had 3 tackles & TFL last week against the Chiefs. Texans QB C.J. Stroud passed for 203 yards & a touchdown in Week 14 against the Chiefs on the road.
Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams (10-3) host David Montgomery and the Detroit Lions (8-5) for a crucial contest that will help shape the NFC playoff landscape on Sunday, December 14, at 4:25 PM ET on Fox, as Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play), seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady (analyst), Erin Andrews (reporter) & Tom Rinaldi (reporter) announce the action. Los Angeles is presently tied with Seattle for first place in the NFC West and the best overall record in the conference. Detroit sits one game out of a postseason position.
Ji'Ayir Brown and the San Francisco 49ers (9-4) return from their bye week to welcome Cam Ward and the Tennessee Titans (2-11) to town on Sunday, December 14, at 4:25 PM ET on Fox, featuring play-by-play commentator Adam Amin & Super Bowl champion Drew Brees in the booth, and Kristina Pink on the sidelines. In their last game back in Week 13, the 49ers picked up an easy 26-8 win over the Browns at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland. With four weeks left, San Francisco is in prime contention for a wild-card berth & the NFC West title. 49ers QB Brock Purdy passed for 168 yards and a touchdown & had 1st rushing touchdown of the season in Week 13 against the Browns. 49ers DE Keion White had his first full sack of the season in Week 13 vs. the Browns.
Derrick Brown and the upstart Carolina Panthers (7-6) continue their pursuit of a NFC South title as they visit Alontae Taylor and the New Orleans Saints (3-10) on Sunday, December 14 at 4:25 PM ET on Fox, with play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti joining analyst, former NFL quarterback, and Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III (making his NFL on Fox debut) and reporter Sarah Kustok for the game broadcast. In Week 13, the Panthers shocked the Rams 31-28, ending LA's six-game win streak at the time. Following a week to rest and recover, the Panthers return to the field, determined to win their first NFC South title in 10 years. Panthers QB Bryce Young completed 15 of 20 passes for 206 yards & 3 touchdowns for 147.1 QB rating in Week 13 vs. the Rams. Panthers CB Mike Jackson had an interception return for a touchdown in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams.
