FOX Enters 3rd Season of Relationship with NFL Network for Thursday Night Football

Thursday Night Football enters 15th season of coverage

NFL Network to air Saturday doubleheaders in BOTH Week 15 (Sat, Dec. 19) & Week 16 (Sat, Dec. 26)

Week 2: TNF begins with Bengals at Browns on Thursday, September 17th at 8:20 PM ET on NFL Network

NFL Network to exclusively televise Dolphins-Jaguars (Sept. 24) & Broncos-Jets (Oct. 1)

Week 5: TNF kicks off its run on FOX (with simlucast on NFL Network) with Buccaneers-Bears on Thursday, October 8th at 8:20 PM ET

Top games on Thursday Night Football this season: Chiefs-Bills on Oct. 15, Giants-Eagles on Oct. 22, Packers-49ers on Nov. 5, Cowboys-Ravens on Dec. 3 & Patriots-Rams on Dec. 10

The 2020 NFL schedule was released on Thursday night. That means that we have the schedule now for Thursday Night Football on FOX, NFL Network and Amazon Video Prime plus the special telecasts that will be EXCLUSIVE to the NFL Network.

NFL Network will telecast eighteen (18) games this season. Those games will be exclusive to them or simulcasts of FOX's Thursday Night Football package.

NFL Network enters their 15th season airing games from the National Football League (NFL). NFL Network's seven (7) exclusive games include: Bengals at Browns on September 17, Dolphins at Jaguars on September 24, Broncos at Jets on October 1,  a Week 15 Saturday doubleheader on December 19 & a Week 16 Saturday doubleheader on December 26. The remaining eleven (11) NFL Network games will be simulcasts of FOX's TNF package throughout the year.

FOX Sports enters their third season as the producer of all 18 NFL Network contests this season. 

FOX will begin their Thursday Night Football coverage in Week 5 on Thursday, October 8th at 8:20 PM ET. That night, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on Tarik Cohen and the Chicago Bears live from Solder Field in Chicago. FOX will then televise every Thursday Night Football contest through Week 15 (minus Thanksgiving).

This year, FOX will televise a rare Christmas Day game. On Friday, December 25th at 4:30 PM ET, Tajae Sharpe and the Minnesota Vikings take on Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

  12. I JUST saw the CBS page and was surprised to see CBS had Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta calling a week 16 game with just five crews. I figured, "Oh wow, they get to have a game this week and they are putting them above Catalon and Lofton this week." Then I figured, "What if there is an off-chance scenario they are using Catalon and Lofton for the Amazon Prime game?" Sure enough there they are.
