Happy holidays, everyone 🎄! I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. This weekend, the NFL season continues to wind down with Week 16 action across the league on Sunday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) and Monday, December 25 (Christmas). Three weeks remain in this regular season, and as you know, there is plenty left on the line with the postseason getting one day closer every single day.

And this Christmas weekend, we 🎅 are thankful to have several key NFL games to unwrap and enjoy that will have a significant impact towards the playoff picture including Detroit at Minnesota (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX), Cleveland at Houston (Sunday, 1 p.m., CBS), Jacksonville at Tampa Bay (Sunday, 4:05 p.m., CBS), Dallas at Miami (Sunday, 4:25 p.m., FOX), among others.

The race to Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is heating up 🔥 as time runs out on this 2023 regular season.

Check out this week's highlights below:
  • * Week 16 Highlights:
- Twin Cites Division Tilt: Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions (10-4) take on Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings (7-7) on Sunday, December 24 at 1:00 PM ET on FOX as two divisional foes renew their rivalry for the first of two matchups in three weeks to finish up regular season play. For Detroit, they are on the cusp of their first division title since 1993. As for the Vikings, they are trying to remain in the NFC Wild Card playoff mix. St. Brown is the third player in NFL history to have 90 receptions and 900 receiving yards in each of his first three seasons in the league. 🎙 Veteran play-by-play commentator Kenny Albert, analyst and Super Bowl champion Jonathan Vilma & reporter Shannon Spake comprise the broadcast team for this game.

- Houston ... we have a consequential matchup: David Njoku and the Cleveland Browns (9-5) head to the Space City 🚀 to play Derek Stingley Jr. and the Houston Texans (8-6) from H-Town on Sunday, December 24 at 1:00 PM ET on CBS. Both teams, of course, are coming off thrilling victories in Week 15 (with Houston knocking off Tennessee in overtime and the Browns surviving a last-second Hail Mary attempt to squeeze out a win over the Bears). Head coach DeMeco Ryans and his team are now in a three-way tie with Jacksonville and Indianapolis for the AFC South lead. Myles Garrett and the Browns attempt to register a double-digit win season with a victory here in this game. 🎤 Ian Eagle, Charles Davis & Evan Washburn take the CBS call from Houston.

- Sunshine State Showdown: Trevor Lawrence and the somewhat slumping Jacksonville Jaguars (8-6) visit Baker Mayfield and the surging Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-7) on Sunday, December 24 at 4:05 PM ET on CBS. This Christmas Eve matchup features two Florida teams butting heads at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Baker Mayfield had a historic day in Tampa Bay's 34-20 win over the Packers in Week 15, putting up a perfect passer rating (158.3) at the historic Lambeau Field. As of right now, both clubs share a tie for their respective division's lead. This game has paramount importance for both sides. 🎙 Kevin Harlan (play-by-play), Trent Green (analyst) & Melanie Collins (reporter) are on the call for CBS.

- Monster Matchup in Miami: A very important interconference matchup takes place in Miami on Christmas Eve as Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys (10-4) square off with Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins (10-4) on Sunday, December 24 at 4:25 PM ET on FOX. Tony Pollard and the Cowboys have already clinched a postseason spot, but their eyes 👀 are on capturing the NFC East title (with themselves and Philadelphia tied for the division lead with three weeks left). The Cowboys are focused on trying the franchise's second NFC East title in three seasons (their last NFC East title being in 2021). Meanwhile, Bradley Chubb and the Dolphins seek a postseason berth with a victory, plus a potential AFC East championship with a Dolphins victory and a Bills loss to the Chargers on Saturday night. If the Dolphins win the AFC East, it would be their first AFC East title since 2008. 🎙 Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen, Erin Andrews & Tom Rinaldi will provide commentary from Miami on FOX.

- Christmas Doubleheader 🎄🎅: Celebrate and get in the holiday spirit with a special Monday Christmas doubleheader
(Monday, December 25) on CBS and FOX. CBS will have the Raiders vs. Chiefs game at 1:00 PM ET with Jim Nantz (play-by-play), Tony Romo (analyst) & Tracy Wolfson (sidelines) on the traditional call, with a special Nickelodeon broadcast available as well with Noah Eagle, Nate Burleson & Dylan Schefter on the broadcast, featuring some special guests. Then, flip over to FOX, for the Giants vs. Eagles game at 4:30 PM (ET), featuring the commentary group of 🎙 Joe Davis (play-by-play), Daryl Johnston (analyst) & Pam Oliver (sidelines).

  1. The maps have been posted and Houston won't get an early FOX game due to a blackout caused by the Texans.

    1. @Mark T. Thanks bro! I noticed that blackouts have been popping up a lot lately. Am I wrong?

    2. They have, and it's kinda weird because last year, there were barely any blackouts.
