- American Broadcasting Company (ABC) returns for the third straight year of NHL coverage, with 16 regular season games + the All-Star Game from Toronto scheduled on the network.
- Both 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union Stadium Series (Flyers vs. Devils) and (Rangers vs. Islanders) from MetLife Stadium to air on ABC.
- The Stanley Cup Final returns to ABC to end the season (June 2024).
Earlier this week, ESPN announced the schedule of games to air on ABC during the 2023-24 NHL season. In all, ABC will present a record-high (during this current television deal) of 19 regular season games, with every ABC broadcast to be simulcasted on ESPN+.
In addition to that, ABC exclusively presents the NHL Stadium Series weekend from Northern New Jersey in mid-February and the 2024 Stanley Cup Final to conclude the season.
ABC begins their 2023-24 live game coverage on Saturday, January 13, with the season premiere of ABC Hockey Saturday as Artemi Panarin and the New York Rangers battle Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals at 1:00 PM ET.
Most of ABC's games this season are on Saturdays, with the exception of a rare Sunday broadcast for the second NHL Stadium Series game on Sunday, February 18.
NHL All-Star Weekend (Toronto):
ABC will once again provide live coverage of the NHL's All-Star Game this season. This year, the 2024 NHL All-Star Game, presented by Honda, takes place at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena, the home of NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and NBA's Toronto Raptors on Saturday, February 3 at 3:00 PM (ET) on ABC and ESPN+.
NHL Stadium Series:
The 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union Stadium Series returns on Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18, featuring two games from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the home of the NFL's New York Giants and New York Jets. ABC will exclusively televise both contests, with the Flyers vs. Devils game on Saturday, February 17 at 8:00 PM (ET) and the Rangers vs. Islanders game taking place the following day, Sunday, February 18 at 3:00 PM (ET).

* ABC & ESPN+ has now added the Los Angeles Kings vs. Boston Bruins game on Saturday, February 17 at 12:30 PM (ET), which will now be paired with Oilers vs. Stars (3:00 PM ET) and Flyers vs. Devils in the Stadium Series {MetLife Stadium} (8:00 PM ET) for a tripleheader on the network for that day.
