  • TNT's Opening Night doubleheader on Tuesday, October 18 to feature defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry hosting Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James & Philadelphia 76ers and Joel Embiid visiting the Boston Celtics and Jayson Tatum, starting at 7:30 PM (ET)
The 2022-23 NBA schedule was officially announced on Wednesday afternoon. That means that we now have the broadcast schedule for the NBA on TNT for the upcoming 2022-23 season. Turner Sports, set to begin their 39th season of broadcasting NBA games, is scheduled to broadcast 65 NBA regular season contests this year. These games include the Opening Night doubleheader, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day doubleheader, and much more.

TNT's 2022-23 schedule has appearances by several of the league's marquee franchises including: the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.

The network will feature the league's top players throughout the course of the regular season, starting with the 2022 KIA NBA Tip-Off doubleheader on Opening Night, Tuesday, October 18, which is highlighted by the Lakers at Warriors game at 10:00 PM (ET). This matchup has two of the league's best set to take the floor in Stephen Curry (GS) and LeBron James (LAL), responsible for leading their respective teams to eight of the league's last 11 NBA champions and won a combined six Kia NBA MVP awards so far in their storied NBA careers.

Earlier that night, a marquee Eastern Conference matchup serves as TNT's first matchup of the new season, as Joel Embiid, James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers travel to Boston to face off with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics at 7:30 PM (ET).

The network's first regular season week continues on Thursday, October 20 with TNT's first Thursday night doubleheader of the new year. At 7:30 PM (ET), two-time Kia NBA MVP Giannis Antetokoumnpo leads his Bucks into Philadelphia for a star-studded Eastern Conference game against Harden and the 76ers. Then at 10:00 PM (ET), Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and new addition John Wall will lead the Los Angeles Clippers into battle against James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers in the "Battle for LA".

The following week, two of the league's brightest budding stars will be on full display. On Tuesday, October 25, Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks will visit Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans at 7:30 PM (ET). The Tuesday doubleheader continues at 10:00 PM (ET) as Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors match up with Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns in a meeting of the last two Western Conference champions.

The Suns return to TNT on Tuesday, November 1 at 10:00 PM (ET) when they host the new trio of the Minnesota Timberwolves: Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards, & Rudy Gobert. TNT's first game that night has the top two draft picks from the 2022 NBA Draft when Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic compete against Chet Holmgren and the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7:30 PM (ET).

NBA on TNT's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day doubleheader on Monday, January 16 has two must-see games. First up, at 3:30 PM (ET), Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat battle Trae Young, new offseason acquisition Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks. Miami-Atlanta is a rematch of last season's Conference Quarterfinals series. Then, at 6:00 PM (ET), two prolific guards have a chance to show up and show out as Devin Booker and the Suns visit Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies.

Later that week, the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics will meet up in a rematch of the 2022 NBA Finals on Thursday, January 19 at 7:30 PM (ET) followed by the Nets vs. Booker and the Suns at 10:00 PM (ET).

TNT will also televise NBA All-Star Game 2023 weekend coverage from Friday, February 17, 2023 through Sunday, February 19, 2023 from Salt Lake City, Utah. Once the playoffs arrive, TNT will once again carry the most playoff games on any network. TNT's NBA coverage will conclude with a exclusive presentation of the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals.
