  1. There is nothing better than watching the Jaguars and the Titans square off on Thursday Night Football. That is the matchup I look forward to watching every year. Mariota has owned the Jags so far in his career. Maybe the addition of Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles will turn the tables in Jacksonville's favor in this series going forward.

    1. For some reason the NFL loves putting this matchup in primetime, even if both teams are mediocre. Such a weird obsession.

  2. Who do you think will call the two London games in Week 6 and Week 9?

    1. Remember, last year NFL Network assigned their "NFL Gameday Morning" crew of Rich Eisen, Steve Mariucci, Kurt Warner and Michael Irvin to that Week 8 Eagles-Jaguars game. I thought that crew did real well. Maybe we will see them call one or potentially both work the Week 6 & Week 9 contests.

  3. Chiefs/Broncos is on the same night as game 5 of the ALCS. Buck is calling the Yankees series so he won't be in the booth for the Thursday night NFL game. No idea who will call that game with Aikman

    1. Joe Buck will be calling Chiefs/Broncos. Joe Davis will fill-in for Buck for Game 5 of the ALCS (which Houston forced last night with a Carlos Correa walk-off home run).

  4. According to Wednesday's PFT Live, Mike Florio mentioned that Mike Tirico and Kurt Warner would be calling the Saturday week 16 Bills-Patriots game.

    1. It makes sense they would use Mike Tirico for that game. NFLN used him in both weeks 15 and 16 with a Saturday night game last year. I think people realize this guy needs to get in and call more games. And since it's expected a game will be flexed into Sunday night, he had an earlier game to work with and one that is close to the NBC studio in Stamford, CT (at least I believe it to be there).

    2. I would love to see Gus Johnson call a game. He has not called an NFL game since week 17 of 2014.
