  • FOX Sports continues live coverage of the 2024 Major League Baseball season ⚾ on Saturday, August 10, with a doubleheader spread out across FOX and FS1 - FS1 carries the Astros vs. Red Sox game at 4:00 PM (ET) followed by FOX regionalized coverage of Orioles vs. Rays or Cubs vs. White Sox at 7:00 PM (ET).
  • A critical matchup in the American League takes place at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida as Ryan Mountcastle and the Baltimore Orioles visit Brandon Lowe and the Tampa Bay Rays in a American League East clash; this game features MASSIVE divisional and Wild Card implications for both sides (Saturday, August 10 at 7:00 PM ET on FOX).
  • The Battle for the Windy City sees Dansby Swanson and the Chicago Cubs taking a short trip to the South Side to face off against the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field; The Cubs MUST win to keep any hopes alive for a Wild Card spot (Saturday, August 10 at 7:00 PM ET on FOX).

Summer 🌞 is winding down as FOX Saturday Baseball returns on Saturday, August 10 to furnish viewers with more live coverage of the 2024 Major League Baseball season ⚾. Saturday's coverage consists of a doubleheader with Astros vs. Red Sox at 4:00 PM (ET) on FS1 followed by regional coverage of Orioles vs. Rays or Cubs vs. White Sox at 7:00 PM (ET) on FOX. FS1 begins the day with a late afternoon broadcast at 4:00 PM (ET) when Yordan Alvarez and the Houston Astros travel to historic Fenway Park to face off with Dominic Smith and the Boston Red Sox. The Astros have a slim lead over the Mariners for the American League West lead, while the Red Sox contend for a Wild Card berth in the American League.

Then, "Baseball Night in America" hits the FOX airwaves at 7:00 PM (ET) with regionalized coverage of two matchups that have a significant impact to the playoff pictures in both leagues.

Most of the nation on FOX will receive an American League East matchup as Jackson Holliday and the Baltimore Orioles, tied for first place in the American League East, take on Yandy Díaz and the Tampa Bay Rays, needing a win to stay competitive in the American League Wild Card hunt. 🎤 Play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti & analyst and Hall of Famer John Smoltz.

Others of you will observe "The Windy City Showdown" when Isaac Paredes and the Chicago Cubs take a field trip to the South Side and Guaranteed Rate Field to clash with the Chicago White Sox. The Cubs are really in a desperate situation, needing as many wins as possible to keep hope in the National League Wild Card picture. 🎤 Kevin Kugler provides commentary with 2005 World Series champion and analyst AJ Pierzynski.

And please note, due to NFL preseason football 🏈 on the primary FOX station, Saturday's MLB on FOX regional action will be seen on another station in the area or entirely preempted (you will find more information about that in the distribution section of this article).
