- Two longtime divisional foes, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants, renewed their rivalry in the City by the Bay (Saturday, June 29 at 7:00 PM (ET) on FOX).
- Gunnar Henderson and the high octane Baltimore Orioles offense looks to continue to scorch against Nathaniel Lowe and the defending World Series champions Texas Rangers (Saturday, June 29 at 7:00 PM ET on FOX).
FOX continues their coverage of the 2024 Major League Baseball ⚾ season on Saturday, June 29, beginning at 7:00 PM (ET) with this week's edition of "Baseball Night in America". As always, FOX will regionalize two contests for broadcast across the nation. Keep reading to find out which game your local FOX station will be receiving this weekend.
The MLB on FOX slate for Saturday will kick off at 4:00 PM (ET) on FS1, as Pete Crow-Armstrong and the Chicago Cubs take on Andrew Monasterio and the Milwaukee Brewers in a National League Central division matchup with Kenny Albert & Tom Verducci on the call. This FS1 game will then be immediately followed by "Baseball Night in America" at 7:00 PM (ET).
At 7:00 PM (ET) on FOX, most of the country will watch Freddie Freeman and the Los Angeles Dodgers take on Matt Chapman and the San Francisco Giants as the two bitter rivals meet to conclude the month of June. The Dodgers once again led the National League West while San Francisco is currently competing for a National League Wild card spot.
Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is third on the Dodgers right now in hitting home runs, only behind Shohei Ohtani (24 home runs) and Teoscar Hernรกndez (18 home runs). ๐ The lead MLB on FOX crew of Joe Davis, John Smoltz and Ken Rosenthal will provide commentary.
For those viewers not scheduled to receive the Dodgers at Giants game, FOX will also have an American League clash on "Baseball Night in America" with the same 7:00 PM (ET) start time when Cedric Mullins and the powerful Baltimore Orioles welcome in Marcus Semien and the defending World Series champions Texas Rangers. The Orioles are having a strong start to 2024, with the team leading Major League Baseball in home runs and runs overall. Meanwhile, the Rangers are trying to find consistency as the team tries to defend their first-ever championship in franchise history. ๐ Play-by-play commentator Adam Amin describes the action with 2005 World Series champion AJ Pierzynski.
