- TBS' coverage begins on Tuesday, April 2 with a special Tuesday night doubleheader -- Reds vs. Phillies (6:30 p.m. ET) & Giants at Dodgers (10 p.m. ET)
The 51st season of live baseball coverage on TBS is spearheaded by some of the biggest names and rivalries across Major League Baseball. TBS is scheduled to carry 26 regular season games on Tuesday nights. Following the regular season, TBS has the exclusive rights to the American League playoffs, including the American League Division Series and American League Championship Series.
MLB on TBS will begin regular season live game coverage on Tuesday, April 2 with a pair of big-time showdowns. The Los Angeles Dodgers -- featuring marquee offseason acquisition and two-time AL MVP Shohei Ohtani, and two-time World Series Champion Mookie Betts -- hosting Wilmer Flores, Austin Slater and the San Francisco Giants at 10:00 PM ET. Earlier at 6:30 PM ET, rising young superstar Elly De La Cruz and the Cincinnati Reds travel to face Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies, a team has been featured in the last two National League Championship Series.
- Additional highlights on MLB on TBS's early 2024 regular season schedule:
- 2022 AL MVP Aaron Judge and newly acquired Juan Soto lead the New York Yankees into five TBS games, including consecutive weeks playing Adley Rutschman and the 2023 AL East champions Baltimore Orioles (Jun. 18); and the first 2024 regular season Subway Series matchup against the crosstown New York Mets (Jun. 25).
- The Dodgers' vaunted and stout lineup is set to play in primetime up in Queens, New York and take on the Mets, led by new manager Carlos Mendoza, on Tuesday, May 28.
- Dansby Swanson and the Chicago Cubs are on the docket for three games on TBS early on, including matchups against Fernando Tatis Jr. and the San Diego Padres (Apr. 9) & and perennial MVP contenders Matt Olsen, Ronald Acuña Jr.and the Atlanta Braves (May 21).
- Three appearances by Yordan Alvarez and the Houston Astros (defending AL West champions): vs. Braves on Tuesday, April 16 (8 p.m. ET), @ Cubs on Tuesday, April 23 (7:30 p.m. ET) & @ Yankees on Tuesday, May 7 (7 p.m. ET).

Also, BA will likely be back on the play-by-play in early June (because BA's NBA schedule is now finished since ESPN (Game 6) or ABC (Game 7) will have the rights to the remaining Pacers-Knicks semifinal games).

Mark, Brian Anderson posted something on Instagram last week saying that his NBA on TNT schedule is now complete for the season (with ESPN/ABC airing the last two games of the Pacers-Knicks semifinal series). BA also said that he was going to take this week off to be with his family, and then be back on the Brewers local TV duties on Memorial Day (5/27), and rejoin the MLB on TBS team for the Twins-Yankees game on Tuesday, June 4.

Discovery put out a release on Monday (June 17), confirming Costas/Francoeur for BAL/NYY this week; in addition, releasing commentator assignments and game assignments for the next three weeks (Anderson/Francoeur for NYY/NYM on 6/25, Anderson/Granderson for PHI/CHC on 7/2 & Anderson/Francoeur again for LAD/PHI on 7/9; as a side note, no Ron Darling during this period of time).
