- The #1 team of Jim Nantz (play-by-play), Tony Romo (analyst) & Tracy Wolfson (reporter) reprise their on-air roles for the seventh straight season; crew will work their third Super Bowl together with Super Bowl LVIII from Las Vegas, Nevada
- J.J. Watt, Matt Ryan, Jason McCourty, and Ross Tucker join the NFL on CBS as analysts

On Monday, CBS Sports officially announced their announcers for both game coverage and studio coverage for the 2023 season. CBS enters their 64th season televising NFL games (1956-1993, 1998-present). CBS' season will culminate with live coverage of Super Bowl LVIII from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
The NFL on CBS team will be strengthened and reinforced by the addition of three new analysts -- three-time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt, 2016 Most Valuable Player Matt Ryan and Super Bowl LIII champion Jason McCourty.
All-Pro running back Tiki Barber beginning his fifth season with CBS will now have an expanded role, via a full schedule of NFL on CBS games. Barber will work alongside returning play-by-play man Andrew Catalon, Ryan and returning reporter AJ Ross.
Chris Lewis will call NFL on CBS games for the very first time, partnering up with McCourty and fellow analyst Ross Tucker, starting his first season as an NFL on CBS analyst. James Lofton will call games this year alongside Tom McCarthy and Jay Feely in a three-man broadcast booth.
CBS has also added reporters Tiffany Blackmon, Amanda Guerra, and Justin Walters for select games during the season.
The firmness and depth of the NFL on CBS announcing lineup is further manifested by the return of experienced teams including the station's No. 2 team, Ian Eagle, Charles Davis and Evan Washburn along with the crew of Kevin Harlan, Trent Green and Melanie Collins as well as Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta. Once again, Beth Mowins will call select games, while Amanda Renner and Aditi Kinkhabwala return as sideline reporters.
Gene Steratore enters his 6th season as a NFL rules analyst for CBS.

The NFL Today, CBS' NFL pregame show of record, will once again feature host James Brown alongside analysts Phil Simms, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason, Nate Burleson, and lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones. Watt will make select appearances on the NFL Today throughout the season.

The 2023 NFL on CBS schedule begins on Sunday, September 10 with a Week 1 doubleheader on CBS, encompassing seven games, including Bengals vs. Browns, Buccaneers vs. Vikings, and Eagles vs. Patriots in the national doubleheader game.
