Welcome to the final week of the 2026 MLB regular season! So much is still on the line as the last few regular season games are played. This week, Fox airs the season finale of “Baseball Night in America,” its signature weekly MLB primetime series, on Saturday, September 26 at 7:00 PM ET. Most of the country will see the Orioles take on the Yankees at Yankee Stadium, while others will watch the Rays square off against the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Which game is scheduled to air in your local market and which broadcast team will provide commentary? Read on for the final time for this 2026 MLB regular season.

⮞ Orioles vs. Yankees — Saturday, 7:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
An American League East battle on the final weekend of the regular season as George Lombard Jr. and the New York Yankees host Gunnar Henderson and the Baltimore Orioles in the second game of a three-game series on Saturday, September 26 at 7:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One.
Christian Encarnacion-Strand and the Orioles need an absolute miracle to have any hope of making the postseason whatsoever, as they trail the White Sox by 4.5 GB with just five games left.
New York will be playing postseason baseball for the third consecutive year in 2026. However, the Yankees were dealt tough news when their star right fielder, Aaron Judge, returned to the injured list with a right calf strain last week. Of course, the three-time AL MVP recently returned from a rib injury that sidelined him for the majority of the season. The Yankees’ AL East chances are all but shot, with the Yankees basically locked into a Wild Card position for all intents and purposes.
⮞ Rays vs. Phillies — Saturday, 7:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One:
Victor Mesa Jr. and the Tampa Bay Rays tangle with Justin Crawford and the Philadelphia Phillies in the middle game of this weekend set between the 2008 World Series participants on Saturday, September 26 at 7:00 PM ET on Fox & Fox One.
Tampa Bay has already clinched their first playoff berth since 2023, but they need just one win over their final six to claim their first AL East title since 2021. Impressively, the Rays finished their 2026 regular season with a 55-26 home record at Tropicana Field, their home venue for basically their entire 29-season existence (sans 2025 when they played at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa). Of course, the Rays are led by the 23-year-old star Junior Caminero, who has put together an excellent regular season, hitting 41 home runs and driving in 97 runs.
The Phillies are expected to make the postseason for the fifth consecutive year. Still, they will do so as a Wild Card club for the first time since 2023, as the Atlanta Braves halted Philadelphia’s two-season NL East streak when Atlanta clinched the NL East on Sunday down in Houston. Following a 9-18 start, they fired manager Rob Thomson and replaced him with Don Mattingly. Things have gone well for the most part, but the Phillies have struggled in September, going 8-10 (including 3-4 vs. the Braves).
