MLB on FS1: Mariners vs. Royals — Saturday, 4:00 PM ET/3:00 PM CT on FS1:
FS1 presents American League play to kick off this week’s “Fox Saturday Baseball” doubleheader on Saturday, May 23.

Seattle is chasing the Athletics for the top spot in the American League West. They opened their three-game set with the White Sox with a dominant 6-1 win on Monday, led by Mariners P Bryan Woo’s fourth win and rookie Mariners 3B Colt Emerson’s first Major League home run. Mariners LF Randy Arozarena leads the squad with 33 runs scored so far this year. The Royals are tied with the Tigers for last place in the American League Central, each with a 20-28 record.
Baseball Night in America: Dodgers vs. Brewers or Cardinals vs. Cardinals — Saturday, 7:00 PM ET on Fox:
Baseball Night in America, Fox Sports’ signature weekly MLB primetime series, presents regional Saturday night coverage on Saturday, May 23, beginning at 7:00 PM ET on Fox. This week, viewers will watch either the Dodgers-Brewers game or the Cardinals-Reds game. Please check your local listings or the bottom of this article for additional information.
Two-time NL MVP Shohei Ohtani and the two-time reigning MLB champion Los Angeles Dodgers clash with Brice Turang and the Milwaukee Brewers in National League action on Saturday, May 23, at 7:00 PM ET (6:00 PM CT local) on Fox.
Things have been bumpy for the defending two-time champion Dodgers. Los Angeles has evenly split their last 10 regular-season games, with five wins and five losses during this stretch. Following a weekend series sweep over the Angels in the “Freeway Series”, the Dodgers dropped their series opener to the Padres (their divisional rival), 1-0, on Monday night. Padres DH Miguel Andujar took Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto deep in the first inning, and it turned out to be the difference. The Brewers, on the other hand, are starting to heat up with eight victories in their last 10 games. This has allowed Milwaukee to creep closer to the division-leading Cubs, as the Brewers only trail by a half-game for the NL Central lead. Brewers DH Christian Yelich scored twice, knocked in two runs, and collected two hits in Milwaukee’s 9-3 win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Monday night.
Longtime rivals from the National League Central compete against each other on the field as Elly De La Cruz and the Cincinnati Reds host Masyn Winn and the visiting St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday, May 23, at 7:00 PM ET on Fox.
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol and his team kick off a vital 12-game stretch vs. division opponents, beginning with a mid-week series vs. the Pirates and this weekend’s series vs. the Reds. St. Louis has gone 4-0 vs. the NL Central in 2026, with a four-game sweep over the Pirates at the end of April. On Saturday night, St. Louis gets their first crack at facing the Reds, a team that made the postseason last year. The Reds are struggling mightily following an impressive 20-11 record through the end of April. Terry Francona’s team has posted an abysmal 4-13 record during May, including eight consecutive losses to begin the month.
