* CBS to start their 2023 CFB season with four broadcasts during first weekend in September (September 2 & 3)
With the 2023 college football season almost upon us now, CBS announced their studio and game announcers for the upcoming season.
Brad Nessler (play-by-play), Gary Danielson (analyst) & Jenny Dell (reporter) reprise their roles as CBS' lead announcing team for college football. Nessler, Danielson and Dell will cover CBS Sports' marquee game each week, featuring the network's signature 3:30 PM, ET timeslot on the CBS Television Network. Their first game of 2023 is Ohio State at Indiana on Saturday, September 2 (3:30 PM, ET).
A pair of brand-new CBS Sports commentators - Super Bowl champion Jason McCourty and reporter Tiffany Blackmon - will join play-by-play announcer Tom McCarthy to call select games on CBS throughout the campaign. In addition to McCourty and Blackmon, McCarthy will work select games with Ross Tucker.
Adam Zucker (host) is back as the host of COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY, CBS Sports' pregame, halftime, and postgame show, and will be joined for the ninth straight season by analysts Brian Jones and Rick Neuheisel.
The duo of Rich Waltz (play-by-play) and Aaron Taylor (analyst) are set to call select games on CBS. Meanwhile, Chris Lewis (play-by-play) and Tucker (analyst) will call at least one college football game on CBS (Oregon State at San José State - Sunday, September 3, 3:30 PM, ET). As previously mentioned this summer, Lewis and Tucker will cover select NFL games as well for CBS.
