For the upcoming 2020-21 NHL season, NBC Sports will feature live coverage of the National Hockey League (NHL) on 17 occasions. According to NBC, this is once per week on average. The 17 NHL on NBC games this year will mark the MOST regular season games that NBC has carried in a single season.
Please note that Saturday, May 8th, the last Saturday of the NHL's shortened season, NBC has chosen to leave that time blank, allowing a game with playoff implications to be flexed in later on.
NBC Sports will return for their 16th consecutive season of NHL coverage with their game action this year.
NBC Sports released the complete game schedules for the NBC broadcast network and NBCSN (NBC Sports Network) on Wednesday. The NHL on NBCSN post will follow this one, so look out for that.

NOTE: Golden Knights vs. Avalanche Lake Tahoe game had the first period on NBC, the remainder [starting at midnight ET / 9:00 PM PT] on NBCSN due to weather conditions and poor ice surface.
