The 2020 NBA Playoffs in Orlando begins to wind down towards its conclusion this week with the start of the Conference Finals round. This year, the Eastern Conference Finals will begin first followed by the Western Conference Finals.
On Tuesday, September 15, ESPN will televise Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals as Kemba Walker and the Boston Celtics play Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat at 6:30 p.m. ET. Play-by-play announcer Mark Jones, analyst Doris Burke and reporter Malika Andrews will call Game 1. The longest tenured NBA Finals broadcast team of Mike Breen, analysts Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson will pick up the Boston-Miami series, starting with Game 2 on Thursday, September 17. Reporter Rachel Nichols joins Breen, Van Gundy & Jackson this season due to Burke's assignment as a radio analyst for the Conference Finals and the NBA Finals.
ESPN is the exclusive home of the 2020 Eastern Conference Finals.
With the Clippers-Nuggets series being extended to 7 games, the Western Conference Finals will begin on Friday, September 18 at 9 p.m. ET, exclusively on TNT. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers await the Clippers-Nuggets winner.
TNT is the exclusive home of the 2020 Western Conference Finals.
