2020 MLB on ESPN Schedule

• 2020 Season to Mark ESPN's 31st season of MLB Coverage

• 2020 Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell opens with a special Sunday doubleheader on July 26; Multiple Showings by Braves, Red Sox, Cubs, Yankees, Phillies & Cardinals

• Seven Nationally Televised Games in Four Days on ESPN to begin 2020 MLB season

ESPN, along with Major League Baseball, announced on Monday the 2020 MLB national television schedule for Opening Night (Jul. 23), Opening Day (Jul. 24) and Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell (beginning Jul. 26).

The season will begin on Thursday, July 23 with two exclusive Opening Night presented by John Deere games on ESPN.

At 7 p.m. ET, Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees take on Juan Soto and the defending World Series champions from Nationals Park. Then at 10 p.m. ET, ESPN will then take viewers to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles where Mookie Betts makes his long awaited Dodgers debut (Dodgers have appeared in 2 of last 3 WS) against Johnny Cueto and the San Francisco Giants.

ESPN's MLB season-opening slate continues on Friday, July 24 with a Opening Day by John Deere tripleheader. At 4 p.m. ET, Jacob deGrom and the New York Mets host Ronald Acuna Jr. and the Atlanta Braves from Citi Field. At 7 p.m. ET, new Cubs manager David Ross and his squad host Christian Yelich and the Milwaukee Brewers from historic Wrigley Field. The tripleheader finishes at 10 p.m., when Matt Olson and the Oakland Athletics host Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels from the Oakland Coliseum (Select July 24 games will be subject to local blackout).

The 2020 Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell schedule begins on Sunday, July 26 with a special doubleheader. At 7 p.m., the Braves square off against the Mets in their series finale. Following Braves-Mets at 10 p.m. ET will be the final game in the series between the Giants and the Dodgers.

All MLB games on ESPN are available to stream on the ESPN App.

NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, none of ESPN's games this season will be called from the stadium themselves. All ESPN commentators will either call games from ESPN's Bristol, Conn. campus or the play-by-play commentator will be in Bristol and the analysts will pipe in commentary from their home studios.
