Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas 🎅🎄, everybody! It's great to have you with us, as we unwrap and reveal the Week 17 edition of the NFL on FOX: Field Pass. The regular season is winding down, as Fox is set to present NFL football for the final time in 2024 with a Sunday Week 17 doubleheader on Sunday, December 29. As a reminder, football coverage on Fox will persist in January and in February, leading up to Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9 from New Orleans, a championship game that Fox will televise exclusively.

Throughout this week's NFL on FOX: Field Pass article, several important things will be talked about in order to help you guys prepare for Sunday's gameday on Fox, including the broadcast schedule for Sunday, this week's Fox commentator lineup, and the distribution for each game (for example, Sunday's Packers-Vikings game will be seen in the entire country).

Wake up and start your Sunday doubleheader day on FOX the right way with "FOX NFL Kickoff presented by Little Casears", beginning at 11:00 AM ET on Fox. Live from Los Angeles, California, Charissa Thompson serves as the host for the pregame program alongside a full cast of respected and decorated studio analysts including Hall of Famer Charles Woodson, four-time Pro Bowler and future Norfolk State head coach Michael Vick, and three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman. Additionally, insider Peter Schrager joins the cast to share NFL news and information. Also, "FOX NFL Kickoff" features contributors Cooper Manning and Colin Cowherd.

"FOX NFL Kickoff presented by Little Casears" focuses on Sunday's forthcoming slate of games, with an emphasis on interviews surronding important NFL newsmakers, live reports from NFL stadiums, breaking news, and updates (when needed).

| Pregame: "FOX NFL Sunday presented by GMC" - 12:00 PM ET:
FOX's two-hour pregame programming resumes at 12:00 PM ET on Fox with the latest edition of Fox's signature Sunday NFL pregame show "FOX NFL Sunday presented by GMC". Host Curt Menefee and Pro Football Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw teamed up for hosting duties for this Los Angeles-based pregame program. This week, Menefee and Bradshaw will be joined on-set by an entire lineup of Pro Football Hall of Famers - Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson and Howie Long. Jay Glazer finishes off the "FOX NFL Sunday" roster as the insider, disseminating the last pieces of NFL news and notes before Sunday's games begin.

"FOX NFL Sunday", which debuted alongside Fox's NFL coverage back in 1994, is noted for the consistency of the show's cast, with Johnson, Long and Bradshaw all being original members of the pregame show when it debuted. "FOX NFL Sunday" encompasses interviews, news, feature stories and pregame predictions. 

| NFL on FOX Doubleheader Game #1: Early Games - 1:00 PM ET (Cowboys at Eagles, Raiders at Saints or Colts at Giants):
Live coverage for Sunday's Week 17 NFL on FOX doubleheader starts at 1:00 PM ET, as the early afternoon games will be getting underway. FOX will be splitting three games across the country at this specific window of 1:00 PM ET, including Cowboys at Eagles (87% of Markets), Colts at Giants (10% of Markets) and Raiders at Saints (3% of Markets). Let me set you up for Sunday's 1:00 PM ET contests on FOX with my version of a game preview.

DeVonta Smith and the Philadelphia Eagles (12-3) get another shot of clinching the NFC East with this NFC East matchup against DaRon Bland and the surprisingly competitive and halfway decent Dallas Cowboys (7-8) on Sunday, December 29 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. Despite the Cowboys getting eliminated from playoff contention last week, it's important to mention that LB Micah Parsons and his squad has won four of their past five games, including last week's stunning 26-24 "Sunday Night Football" win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Eagles had their franchise-best 10-game winning streak snapped against the Commanders last week, losing 36-33 to the Commanders, in addition to losing quarterback Jalen Hurts with a concussion and safety CJ Gardner-Johnson due to two unsportsmanlike penalties getting called. The Eagles can close out the NFC East title with a win or a Commanders loss to the Falcons last week. With the Eagles' hopes for the NFC's #1 seed all but over (barring a late-Christmas miracle), Philadelphia now has the NFC's #2 seed in their sights. Eagles WR AJ Brown had 8 catches for 97 yards and 6th receiving touchdown of the season last week vs. Washington. Eagles CB Darius Slay had a season-high 3 passes defended last week vs. the Commanders. 🎙 Sunday's Cowboys at Eagles duel will be televised by Fox, as Joe Davis provides play-by-play commentary with analyst and three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen. Pam Oliver handles reporting duties from the sidelines. 

Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts (7-8) attempt to keep their slim playoff hopes alive against Kayvon Thibodeaux and the dismal New York Giants (2-13) on Sunday, December 29 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. Last week, the Colts got a very important 38-30 win over the Titans, as Indianapolis kept their very small playoff chances intact. However, Indianapolis needs to continue to win, as they trail Denver by two games for the AFC's seventh and final playoff spot when two weeks to go. A Colts loss (or wins by the Chargers and Broncos) would knock the Colts out of playoff contention. So, Indianapolis needs a WIN in the worst way to keep their aspirations of making the AFC playoffs alive in 2024. Colts QB Anthony Richardson totaled 201 yards (131 passing yards, career-high 70 rushing yards) with 97.2 rating last week vs. the Titans. Colts LB Zaire Franklin had 7 tackles last week vs. the Titans. 🎙 Sunday's Colts at Giants game will be televised by Fox, with play-by-play announcer Kenny Albert and analyst and Super Bowl champion linebacker Jonathan Vilma calling the action. Megan Olivi contributes to the telecast as the sideline reporter.

Darnay Holmes and the Las Vegas Raiders (3-12) head to New Orleans (this year's Super Bowl site) to face off with Tyrann Mathieu and the New Orleans Saints (5-10) on Sunday, December 29 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. 🎙 Adam Amin calls the play-by-play for Sunday's Raiders-Saints game for Fox, working with game analyst and former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez and sideline reporter Kristina Pink.

| NFL on FOX Doubleheader Game #2: America's Game of the Week - 4:25 PM ET (Packers at Vikings):
The Week 17 NFL on FOX doubleheader continues Sunday at 4:25 PM ET with another edition of America's Game of the Week. This week, the entire country (100% of Markets) will be treated to an exciting NFC North matchup with playoff implications as the Green Bay Packers travel to Minneapolis to face the Minnesota Vikings. Extra information about this matchup will be given in the following paragraph.

Jordan Addison and the Minnesota Vikings (13-2) concluded their 2024 regular season home slate by hosting Romeo Doubs and the Green Bay Packers (11-4) on Sunday, December 29 at 4:25 PM ET on Fox. Last week, Green Bay recorded the first shutout of the 2024 season by blanking the Saints 34-0 on "Monday Night Football". The Vikings are the hottest team in the NFL right now with eight straight wins coming into Week 17, including last week's 27-24 win over the Seahawks in Seattle. This game is a meaningful one for both Green Bay and Minnesota. For the Packers despite a great 11-4 record, Green Bay will enter the 2024 postseason as a Wild Card team (as Green Bay can't win the NFC North, as either Minnesota or Detroit will be awarded the NFC North championship). Currently, the Packers have the #6 seed in the NFC postseason (a game ahead of the #7 seeded Washington Commanders). The Vikings are battling with the Lions not only for the division, but for an opportunity to get the #1 seed in the NFC (and attain homefield advantage throughout the NFC playoffs). The Vikings are slotted as the #5 seed in the NFC as we enter Week 17. The Vikings scored the first 28 points in a 31-29 victory over the Packers at Lambeau Field in Week 4. Since 2000, the Packers are 28-19-2 in regular season games vs. the Vikings. With Minnesota's 13th regular season win last week, Vikings HC Kevin O'Connell joins Matt LaFleur and George Seifert as the only head coaches to post at least 13 wins in two of his first three seasons as a head coach of a particular franchise. 🎙 Sunday's Packers at Vikings matchup will be nationally distributed on Fox, with play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt, analyst and seven-time champion Tom Brady, and sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi constructing the commentary team.

| Postgame: "The OT presented by Ford" - 7:30 PM ET:
When the final whistle blows in the Packers at Vikings game, the "FOX NFL Sunday" guys will summarize Sunday's football happenings from Los Angeles during the "The OT presented by Ford", which is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM ET (or earlier/later, pending the game outcome in Minneapolis). Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson and Jay Glazer will furnish viewers with scores and highlights from Sunday's games, postgame analysis from the studio panel, and any breaking news updates emerging from Sunday's games.

| Highlights for the Week 17 NFL on CBS: Field Pass Broadcast Schedule & Regionalization (Sunday, December 29):
  • The holiday season continues this weekend on CBS Sports, as CBS is scheduled to televise their final singleheader of the 2024 regular season with Week 17 on Sunday, December 29, with a four-game lineup set to be seen on a regional basis (a game at either 1:00 PM ET or 4:05 PM ET).
  • CBS will have several teams involved in the playoff picture in Week 17, including Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills looking to wrap up the AFC's #2 seed, Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers looking to keep their postseason hopes alive, and Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins seeking a chance to enter Week 18 with something to play for.
  • For the second straight week, the NFL on CBS has a somewhat lackluster slate, with no particular game in the Week 17 schedule particularly appealing to the average NFL fan.

We have reached the penultimate week of the regular season, with so much still on the line for plenty of clubs around the National Football League. For this week's NFL on CBS: Field Pass, we will discuss the NFL on CBS broadcast schedule for this Sunday (December 29), the announcer assignments for the week, and the distribution splits for each game.

It is a regional Sunday for CBS, meaning that viewers will only be receiving one game from the network. That game will be either at 1:00 PM ET or 4:05 PM ET, depending on your individual market. You will find out which game your local market will be getting and who's scheduled to provide commentary for the game later on this article.

With that introduction taken care of, let's dig into the CBS broadcast schedule for Sunday, December 29 (NFL Regular Season - Week 17, 2024).

| Pregame: "The NFL Today" (12:00 PM ET):
As per usual, CBS signs on the air at 12:00 PM ET with "The NFL Today presented by RAM Trucks", offering a look at Sunday's action that is set to unfold in front of every single football fan's eye. Longtime CBS Sports host James Brown leads the studio coverage on "The NFL Today" alongside a full cast of studio analysts set to provide their own unique, personalized perspectives - including former NFL wide receiver and CBS Mornings co-anchor Nate Burleson, Hall of Fame coach Bill Cowher and 2016 NFL MVP Matt Ryan. To complete the on-air roster, lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones gives the latest news and information from around the National Football League.

On this week's edition of "The NFL Today", Bills offensive tackles Spencer Brown and Dion Dawkins are scheduled to sit for an exclusive conversation as the Bills look to clinch the AFC's #2 seed. To expand that previous point, the crew will talk about the playoff picture in the AFC as the teams strive to claim their tickets to the postseason. "The NFL Today" crew takes a special look at Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans in an EyeVision segment. As the calendar year 2024 is set to end on Wednesday, the cast looks back at some of the top plays that defined the year 2024.

| NFL on CBS Singleheader: Early Game Only (1:00 PM ET; Jets at Bills, Panthers at Buccaneers or Titans at Jaguars)
At 1:00 PM ET, CBS will transition from the studio to the various National Football League stadiums for the early afternoon portion of singleheader coverage for the majority of the country (most stations, 87% of them in fact, will be receiving a 1:00 PM ET game on CBS). There will be three games in that window on CBS, including Jets at Bills (68% of Markets), Panthers at Buccaneers (15% of Markets) & Titans at Jaguars (4% of Markets). Now, let us speak about these matchups and give you a basic idea on what to expect.

Will McDonald IV and the New York Jets (4-11) engage in a divisional showdown with 2024 MVP candidate Josh Allen and the 2024 AFC East champion Buffalo Bills (12-3) on Sunday, December 29 at 1:00 PM ET on CBS. The Bills are currently on a two-game winning streak, with wins over the Lions in Week 15 (48-42) and over the Patriots in Week 16 (24-21). With Kansas City's victory over the Steelers on Christmas Day, the Bills' chances for the #1 seed came to an end. Now, Buffalo turns their attention towards the #2 seed and two potential home games in the postseason (Wild Card and Divisional). The Bills can join the Chiefs as the only teams to go 8-0 at home during the 2024 season. Plus, Buffalo could go undefeated at home for the third time in franchise history, and for the first time since 1990 (8-0) [Buffalo also went 8-0 during the 1988 season]. With a win on Sunday, Bills QB Josh Allen can become the all-time wins leader for a quarterback during his first seven seasons in the National Football League (passing current Steelers QB Russell Wilson, who is tied with Allen with 75 wins for this particular statistic). Bills CB Cam Lewis had his first-ever interception last week vs. the Patriots. 🎙 CBS's lead team of Jim Nantz (play-by-play), Tony Romo (analyst) and Tracy Wolfson (reporter) will be at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York for Sunday's Jets at Bills broadcast.

Bryce Young and the subpar Carolina Panthers (4-11) try to potentially further derail the late season playoff push of Bucky Irving and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-7) on Sunday, December 29 at 1:00 PM ET on CBS. The Buccaneers are looking to bounce back following two consecutive losses to the Chargers (40-17) and to the Cowboys in Week 16 (26-24). The Buccaneers MUST grab a victory in this divisional confrontation on Sunday, as their playoff hopes will basically be "dead in the water" with a loss and a Falcons win (that combination of things would knock out Tampa Bay out of the playoff picture). In other words, the Buccaneers can't afford any more slip ups the rest of the way if Tampa Bay wants to win their 4th straight NFC South title and appear in the postseason for the 5th straight season. Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught 5 passes for 69 yards last week vs. the Cowboys. Evans needs 182 receiving yards for the 11th straight 1,000 yard season. Buccaneers S Christian Izien led his team with a career-high 13 tackles last week vs. the Cowboys. 🎙 Play-by-play commentator Ian Eagle joins analyst Charles Davis and sideline reporter Evan Washburn for Sunday's Panthers vs. Buccaneers game on CBS.

Harold Landry and the Tennessee Titans (3-12) battle Brian Thomas Jr. and the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-12) in this AFC South matchup from Jacksonville's EverBank Stadium on Sunday, December 29 at 1:00 PM ET on CBS. 🎙 This week's Titans at Jaguars commentary team on CBS features play-by-play commentator Spero Dedes, color analyst and former NFL safety Adam Archuleta and sideline reporter Aditi Kinkhbawala.

| NFL on CBS Singleheader: Late Game Only (4:05 PM ET; Dolphins at Browns)
There is only one late afternoon singleheader contest on CBS this week for stations that have to wait until 4:00 PM ET to begin watching live NFL football on CBS. That game features the Miami Dolphins lining up against the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio (13% of Markets). Additional details about the Dolphins-Browns game can be found below.

Emmanuel Ogbah and the Miami Dolphins (7-8) visit Denzel Ward and the Cleveland Browns (3-12) on Sunday, December 29 at 4:05 PM ET on CBS. Following a disastrous 2-6 start to the season, Miami has picked up wins in five of their previous seven contests following a 29-17 victory over the 49ers in Week 16. However, Miami's playoff hopes are on super thin ice as a Dolphins loss this week (or wins by the Chargers and Broncos) would eliminate the Dolphins from playoff contention, so a win against a inferior opponent is a must if the Dolphins have any chance at all to remain in the playoff picture entering the final week of the season. Dolphins RB De'Von Achane collected 190 yards from scrimmage and scored a tuddy vs. San Francisco last Sunday. 🎙 Sunday's Dolphins-Browns game from Cleveland will be televised by CBS, as Andrew Catalon calls the play-by-play alongside analyst and three-time Pro Bowl running back Tiki Barber and analyst and Super Bowl champion Jason McCourty. Reporter AJ Ross will report from the sidelines.

The WNBA gets an innovate path towards the future with a television pact between the Walt Disney Company (ABC/ESPN), NBCUniversal (NBC/Peacock) & Amazon Prime Video, beginning in 2026

Highlights:
  • The Walt Disney Company (ABC/ESPN/ESPN2, etc.), NBCUniversal (NBC, USA Network, Peacock) & Amazon Prime Video to carry more than 125 WNBA games each year beginning with the 2026 season.
  • WNBA Finals to rotate between The Walt Disney Company, NBCUniversal & Amazon Prime Video.

Earlier this year, the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) disclosed the fact that they are re-upping with the Walt Disney Company and Amazon Prime Video, alongside a new media rights deal with NBCUniversal. Starting with the 2026 season and running through the 2036 season, Disney will transmit WNBA contests on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 and stream them on ESPN's forthcoming direct-to-consumer (DTC) service. NBCUniversal will air their WNBA games on NBC, USA Network and/or Peacock. Amazon will stream games on Amazon Prime Video.

With the new WNBA media rights now accounted for, the three media partners will dispense more than 125 regular-season and playoff games nationally each year, including a minimum of 25 regular season contests on a Disney platform of some kind, 50 regular season games across NBCUniversal platforms and 30 regular season matchups on Prime Video. 

Additionally, this newly created WNBA media landscape will give fans an inside look throughout the course of the WNBA Playoffs and Finals. Disney will have two first-round series each season while NBCUniversal and Amazon Prime Video will get one first-round series each season. The Semifinals and Finals will rotate over the course of the 11-year pact, with Disney getting eight Semifinals series and five Finals, and Prime Video and NBCUniversal each transmitting seven Semifinals series and three Finals.

As part of the new media television deals, Disney platforms will continue to possess the events of WNBA All-Star, including the All-Star Game, and the WNBA Draft, while Prime Video will continue to stream the Championship Game of the WNBA Commissioner's Cup presented by Coinbase.

The following are quotes from several key people involved in putting this new WNBA media rights deal together and ultimately to the finish line (this starts in Summer 2026, with ESPN remaining the primary [and main] partner until then).

WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert:
“Partnering with Disney, Amazon and NBCU marks a monumental chapter in WNBA history and clearly demonstrates the significant rise in value and the historic level of interest in women’s basketball,” said WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert.  “These agreements allow the league to continue to build a long-term and sustainable growth model for the future of women’s basketball and sports which will benefit WNBA players, teams and fans.”

ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro:
“We’re proud of our highly productive and collaborative partnership with the WNBA since the league’s inception in 1997,” said ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro.  “Through our marquee collection of rights, which includes the WNBA Finals, we will continue to play an important role in the league’s extraordinary growth trajectory while fueling ESPN’s digital future and super-serving fans as only we can.”

Comcast Corporation President Mike Cavanagh:
“As the home of the first-ever nationally televised WNBA game, we are excited to have the league return to NBCUniversal’s platforms,” said Mike Cavanagh, President of Comcast Corporation.  “We look forward to showcasing the talented players and teams that continue to grow the popularity of the WNBA, while further bolstering NBCU’s lineup of premium women’s sports.”

Prime Video Global Head of Sports Jay Marine:
“We’ve been partners with and believers in the WNBA over the last four seasons, and could not be more excited to expand our relationship so significantly with this landmark agreement,” said Jay Marine, Global Head of Sports for Prime Video.  “The league’s recent surge in popularity is of no surprise to us, as these incredible athletes continue to raise the bar and electrify fans.  We’re looking forward to providing Prime members around the world with increased access to the W’s biggest events as more and more fans gravitate toward the sport.”

The recently developed new media rights deals come at a very important time in the WNBA's history. The 2024 season marked the most consequential season in the WNBA's nearly 30-year history up to this point. This season the league brought in most of the highly anticipated rookies in recent memory such as Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, among others. Plus, the WNBA is expanding to new markets over the next few years, with the Golden State Valkyries beginning play in 2025 and the Toronto Tempo and yet to be named expansion team in Portland starting in 2026.

NFL on FOX: Field Pass, Highlights | Week 16 (Saturday, December 21 & Sunday, December 22):
  • Week 16 on Fox sees a double dose of action, as the network is scheduled to present the Steelers vs. Ravens clash to a national audience on Saturday, December 21 followed by regional coverage on Sunday, December 22. (For the final time this year, Fox will present a singleheader.)
  • A Saturday Holiday Showdown: Two AFC North teams meet up in Baltimore on a special Saturday edition of the "NFL on Fox" as Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-4) visit reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens (9-5) on Saturday, December 21 at 4:30 PM ET on Fox.
  • Fox is on Santa's Nice List: On Sunday, December 22, Fox has two games that have a significant impact towards the playoff picture - Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles (12-2) look to wrap up the NFC East against Jayden Daniels and Washington Commanders (9-5) (1:00 PM ET) & Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings (12-2) look to pace for the NFC's #1 seed against DK Metcalf and the Seattle Seahawks (8-6) (4:05 PM ET). An early Christmas present indeed.

Happy holidays, everyone! Welcome to the Week 16 edition of the NFL on FOX: Field Pass. For this week's edition, we will discuss the following topics: the weekly NFL on FOX broadcast schedule, commentator assignments and distribution splits. A note to bring up before we talk about the football content for this week. This Saturday, December 21, Fox will be televising a special Saturday game as Kyle Hamilton and the Baltimore Ravens host Patrick Queen and the Pittsburgh Steelers in a pivotal divisional confrontation in the AFC North.

Then on Sunday, December 22, Fox will furnish regional coverage of one of the following games - Eagles at Commanders (1:00 PM ET), Giants at Falcons (1:00 PM ET), Cardinals at Panthers (1:00 PM ET), Lions at Bears (1:00 PM ET) and Vikings at Seahawks (4:05 PM ET). Check your local listings or later on in my story to find out which game you will be receiving coupled with the assigned broadcast team for the matchup.

With that introduction out of the way, let's get into this week's NFL on FOX schedule.

Saturday: "FOX NFL Pregame" (4:00 PM ET):
Before live coverage of the Steelers vs. Ravens game begins on Saturday, December 21, please join the "FOX NFL Sunday" crew for a special "FOX NFL Pregame" program at 4:00 PM ET on Fox. The program will be co-hosted by Curt Menefee and Terry Bradshaw. In addition to Menefee & Bradshaw, Hall of Famers Jimmy Johnson, Michael Strahan and Howie Long join as analysts to provide their expert opinions. Jay Glazer serves as the "insider" and gives viewers updates from around the league.

"FOX NFL Pregame' will also encompasses interviews with important NFL people, predictions for the Steelers-Ravens game, the latest news and feature stories to help football fans get closer to the game that they love.

Saturday: Steelers vs. Ravens (4:30 PM ET):
Calvin Austin III and the AFC North leading Pittsburgh Steelers (10-4) line up with Brandon Stephens and the Baltimore Ravens (9-5) on Saturday, December 21 at 4:30 PM ET on Fox. The Steelers look to rebound following a tough 27-13 loss to the Eagles last week. The Ravens got a much-needed win last Sunday vs. the Giants, taking that game by a final score of 35-14. If the Steelers win this game, they will clinch the AFC North championship. A Ravens victory allows them to stay alive in the AFC North race and clinch a postseason berth. Needless to say, this game is a big one for both sides. The Steelers picked up their eighth victory over the Ravens in nine chances back in Week 11, 18-16. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson allowed himself to stay in the MVP race after tossing five touchdowns against the Giants last week. Steelers LB T.J. Watt accomplished his 25th career game at least two sacks last week in the loss to the Eagles. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson ranks second in the league with 34 touchdown throws this year. 🎙 Saturday's Steelers-Ravens holiday special will be televised nationally on Fox, as Kevin Burkhardt calls the play-by-play alongside analyst and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, field reporter Erin Andrews and field reporter Tom Rinaldi.

Saturday: "FOX NFL Postgame" (7:30 PM ET):
Following the Steelers vs. Ravens game, the studio team of Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson & Jay Glazer will rejoin the broadcast to offer a final word about the happenings of the late afternoon Saturday broadcast.

Sunday, Pregame: "FOX NFL Kickoff presented by Little Casears" (11:00 AM ET):
Start your football Sundays on Fox with the right way with "FOX NFL Kickoff presented by Little Casears" at 11:00 AM ET. Host Charissa Thompson anchors the one-hour studio show from Los Angeles with a decorated, celebrated, and respected group of analysts that includes four-time Pro Bowler Michael Vick, Hall of Famer Charles Woodson and three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman. Peter Schrager joins the cast as the "insider", providing pertinent NFL news and information. Furthermore, Cooper Manning and Colin Cowherd contribute pre-recorded segments to either enhance the conservation that the co-hosts are having or have a different perspective.

"FOX NFL Kickoff" is the perfect place to get a first word about Sunday's football action with interviews with NFL newsmakers, reports from NFL game venues, breaking news and updates included during the course of the show. 

Sunday, Pregame: "FOX NFL Sunday presented by GMC" (12:00 PM ET):
"FOX NFL Sunday presented by GMC", the pregame show that dates back to Fox's first-ever NFL season in 1994, hits the air for yet another Sunday showing at 12:00 PM ET on Fox. For the second time this week, Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Jimmy Johnson, Howie Long, Michael Strahan & Jay Glazer return to the studio to helm the broadcast.

Sunday, NFL on FOX Singleheader, Early Game Only - 1:00 PM ET (Eagles at Commanders, Lions at Bears, Giants at Falcons & Cardinals at Panthers):
If your local Fox station (market) is televising an early afternoon contest to suffice as the sole Fox game this week, live coverage from the various NFL stadiums across America begins at 1:00 PM ET. Fox will regionalize four games at that particular timeslot, including - Eagles at Commanders (50% of Markets), Giants at Falcons (12% of Markets), Lions at Bears (10% of Markets) & Cardinals at Panthers (6% of Markets).

Saquon Barkley and the NFC East leading Philadelphia Eagles (12-2) visit Terry McLaurin and the Washington Commanders (9-5) on Sunday, December 22 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. The Eagles have collected ten straight wins for the first time in the illustrious history of the franchise following last week's 27-13 victory over the Steelers in the "Battle for the Keystone State". The Commanders are picking up momentum with two straight wins, including a 20-19 win over the Saints last Sunday in CB Marshon Lattimore's return to New Orleans. With a win on Sunday over Washington, Philadelphia will obtain their second NFC East title in three seasons. As for the Commanders, they are looking to qualify for the postseason following a three-year absence (2021-23). Washington could clinch a playoff spot this week with a win and some help (a loss by Atlanta + a loss by Seattle or the Rams), but likely two more Commander wins over the final three weeks of the regular season will get in the Commanders into the postseason bracket. The Eagles are one of three teams vying for the #1 seed in the NFC, alongside the Vikings and Lions, with all three teams coming into Week 16 with a 12-2 record. Commanders QB Jayden Daniels completed 25 of 31 pass attempts (80.6%) for 226 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions for a 118.5 passer rating and added 66 rushing yards in Washington's Week 15 victory over the Saints. 🎙 Sunday's Eagles-Commanders NFC East duel will be shown on Fox, with Joe Davis calling the play-by-play, three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen providing analysis and Pam Oliver working from the sidelines as the reporter.

Jason Pinnock and the hapless New York Giants (2-12) look to spoil Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons' (7-7) pre-Christmas plans in this intraconference showdown in the NFC on Sunday, December 22 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. The Falcons have struggled over the past five weeks, only scoring victory just once during this period, with that lone win coming last Monday night against the Raiders, 15-9. The Falcons trail the Buccaneers by one game in the NFC South with three weeks to play. Now, the Falcons face a short week and a chance to get right against an inferior opponent. Falcons S Jessie Bates III had himself the game-winning interception as time expired last week in Las Vegas. Falcons RB Bijan Robinson compiled over 100 scrimmage yards vs. the Raiders in Week 15. 🎙 Play-by-play announcer Kevin Kugler joins analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl "Moose" Johnston and reporter Laura Okmin for Sunday's Giants vs. Falcons game call on Fox.

Jahmyr Gibbs and the Detroit Lions (12-2), tied with Minnesota for the NFC North lead, look to safeguard the NFC's top seed in this NFC North road game versus Caleb Williams and the freefalling Chicago Bears (4-10) on Sunday, December 22 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. The Lions had their eleven-game winning streak snapped last week, dropping a high-scoring 48-42 affair to the Buffalo Bills. As you know, things are getting interesting for the #1 seed in the NFC, as the Vikings (12-2), Lions (12-2) and the Eagles (12-2) all a chance to grab it and attain that all important first round bye and home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. The Lions have played well on the road this season, going 6-0, and bringing the NFL's #1 offense into Soldier Field (32.8 points per game) on Sunday. Despite the tough loss to the Bills last week, Lions QB Jared Goff passed for 494 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions and became first player in NFL history with four career games with at least 400 passing yards, four touchdown tosses, and zero giveaways. 🎙 Play-by-play commentator Kenny Albert, analyst and Super Bowl champion Jonathan Vilma, and reporter Megan Olivi will provide commentary for Sunday's Fox Lions-Bears broadcast.

Budda Baker, who just get rewarded with a multi-year contract extension this week, and the Arizona Cardinals (7-7) strive to keep their playoff chances alive against Bryce Young and the unlucky Carolina Panthers (3-11) on Sunday, December 22 at 1:00 PM ET on Fox. The Cardinals claimed an important 30-17 victory over the Patriots last week. The victory over the Patriots allowed the Cardinals to get to .500 as we continue the stretch run of this 2024 season. After a surprising 6-4 start, the Cardinals have hit the skids, dropping three of their previous four contests. Right now, the Cardinals are one game behind the Seahawks & Rams for the NFC West lead and two games behind the Commanders for the seventh and final playoff spot in the NFC. If the Cardinals lose and if the Rams defeat the Jets, the Cardinals would be eliminated from playoff contention. This is an important game for Arizona, as they must win this one to remain in the NFC playoff picture moving forward. Cardinals RB James Conner caught five passes, collected 138 yards from scrimmage and rushed four two scores in the Cardinals' 30-17 Week 15 win over the Patriots. 🎙 Sunday's Cardinals-Panthers game will be televised on Fox, as play-by-play commentator Chris Myers works alongside analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth and sideline reporter Jen Hale.

Sunday, NFL on FOX Singleheader, Late Game Only - 4:05 PM ET (Vikings at Seahawks):
For those of you slated to receive a late game only from Fox this Sunday, you will then be getting the NFC contest live from Seattle's Lumen Field as Josh Metellus and the Minnesota Vikings (11-2) go up against Julian Love and the Seattle Seahawks (8-6), starting at 4:05 PM ET (22% of Markets). More information about Sunday's Vikings-Seahawks game will be disclosed in the next paragraph.

Two postseason contenders on the NFC side collide when Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings (12-2), tied for first place in the NFC North, travel to Seattle to face Leonard Williams and the Seattle Seahawks (8-6), tied for first place in the NFC West, on Sunday, December 22 at 4:05 PM ET on Fox. The Vikings hold the second longest winning streak in the NFC right now with seven straight wins (only trailing Philadelphia with ten consecutive victories), including last week's 30-12 win over the Bears on "Monday Night Football". The Seahawks need to place last week's depressing 30-13 loss to the Packers on "Sunday Night Football" behind them as they are involved in a tight race for the NFC West title coupled with keeping pace with the Commanders for the final NFC Wild Card (if the division doesn't shake out favorably). Vikings HC Kevin O'Connell can become the third head coach to win 13 or more games during his first three seasons, joining Matt LaFleur and George Seifert. The Vikings and Seahawks both came into Week 16 tied for first place in their respective divisions after missing the postseason in 2023. 🎙 Fox will broadcast Sunday's Vikings-Seahawks game, as the broadcast team consists of Adam Amin (play-by-play), former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez (analyst) and Kristina Pink (reporter).
